I was referred by my family doctor to Dr. Sundberg. He is very professional yet really spend time to explain to me about different treatment options about Hepatitis B carrier. I really appreciate his help

I have been taking my mom to see Dr Sunberg for a few years. She was referred to him through the Adult Clinic at CPMC. He is a great doctor, although his work hours are very narrow. He did my mom's colonoscoty for her and has always strived for her to get better. He is a caring person and a wonderful GI speacialist.

The thought of a colonoscopy--even just a screening one because of family history--can invoke fear in a person. So I really appreciated being referred to Dr. Sundberg (Internal Med/Gastroenterology) for this procedure. Dr. Sundberg was personable and professional. He explained exactly what the procedure entailed and reassured me that he would give me the most up-to-date medications to lessen the discomfort. Additionally, the pre-procedure fluids I had to take were 1/5 the quantity my poor father had to take per another doctor. Preparing for the procedure was then a breeze for me. The doctor's staff provided detailed steps for me to follow to ensure the easiest procedure, and they worked. It was nothing to fear at all! Afterwards, Dr. Sundberg personally discussed the results and explained carefully my responsibility for future screenings. Overall, he presented as a confident but caring professional.
