Akagi Restaurant

this place is a little on the small side but it has good food at a good price. i usually get the combination and am pretty satisfied off of just that.

I have been eating at Akagi for several years. Don't mistake this small spot coz flocks of people eat here! The food is reasonably good and servings are huge. I just hope they can expand the place a little bit more coz it gets really crowded a lot of times

Akagi has great Japanese food it is a small place in san bruno the service is fast.It is very reasonable in price. The offer a variety of Japanese food.

We have been going here for at least 5 years now. We love their food, you just need to get there early, just before opening so that you can get seated right away, otherwise they is always a long line. Lots of them are repeat customer that we always see. They need to get their own parking space though.

I used to eat here frequently because I lived so close to this restaurant. Honestly, the food is not that bad, but it's far from great. The service is slow, it's always too crowded (there's maybe about 10 max) and I would much rather go to San Francisco to eat Japanese food I actually enjoy. I think the only reason this place survives is because of its location as it's one of the only Japanese restaurants within a few miles. Don't eat here unless you are stranded in San Bruno.

This is the second best family owned Japanese restaurant in San Bruno. The prices are extremely low and the food is exceptional. The portions are very helping and the service is great. The only drawback about this local place is that it closes in-between lunch and dinner. Every time I go into Akagi's I see the same comforting staff who are just as happy to see me. The salad dressing is a homemade Japanese dressing that makes my taste buds water. I highly recommend this tiny-hole in the wall restaurant.
