Canada Camera Shop

Canada Camera is by most standards as good a local camera store as you're going to find, but they're not for everyone. There's no doubt that the guys at Canada Camera know what they're talking about, but the trouble is they make you fee like you don't. If you're an expert on all things camera, and can wax eloquent about f-settings, dynamic contrast control, and aperture correction, than this is the place for you. If you're a run-of-the mill consumer looking for a little help without feeling like you should learn a whole new vocabulary just to walk into a store, than this isn't the place for you. With a little extra care and some empathy for people who are not as sophisticated, this would be a first-rate camera store, but as is, you might be better looking for something more consumer-oriented or else prepare yourself to feel like you did when you were put on the spot by your teacher in Jr. high. You shouldn't feel uncomfortable walking into a store, and you shouldn't be made to feel ignorant when seeking assistance from experts - that's what they're there for.

This is a very good store. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and the customer service will remind you of the "old days" when it meant something.
You won't find discount pricing here but if you're the kind of person who needs advice from experts and the location is convenient, this is the place for you.
I highly recommend.

At first glance, La Canada Camera may seem somewhat expensive. The superb quality of their customer service, and the professional quality of their printing and developing techniques make the extra few dollars per-roll of film (or per print) worth every penny. There are more competitive prices, but the service is impeccable.
