I met my dad for lunch during the week here. Amazing. the fish is the freshest you can find anywhere. Prices are right. People come from all over the county to purchase their fish here. Instead of going to a fancy seafood restaurant, come here, order a customizable filet/cut of your favorite fish and suprise your significant other with a couple candles and world class fish dinner at home! They'll even marinate or flavor it for you and give you tips on cooking! Not a fancy place to dine in, but the fish can't be beat. Great for picnic spot on a warm day and overlooks the bay.

I pretty much love everything I've ever tried here! The guys that work here are so nice and knowledgeable. They can help you pick out anything you're looking for. The shrimp po boy here is really good. They have awesome smoked fish. The sashimi grade tunas are great too. I love the atmosphere here. You can bring the kids and eat outside. It's awesome!!

You couldn't get fresher fish if you were on the boat pulling it in yourself. Right out on the dock, this is an unpretentious stand-like place where you can get the best seafood, smoked fish and sides. Just pull up a bench outside and you're there.

I am a San Diego native and I count Point Loma Seafoods as definately one of our hidden treasures. The seafood in San Diego is excellent, however, PLS is the handsdown best place to get fresh, tasty seafood. It is a causal atmosphere where you stand in line at the fish counter to place your order. I have never been there where the line hasnt been out the door, but it moves quickly. You must try the fish sandwich with their white clam chowder. The fish sandwich is simple, battered fish on sourdough with tarter sauce, but it is the tasiest sandwich I have ever had. I highly highly reccommend this place!!!!

Point Loma Seafood a privately owned company has the best tasting seafood I have ever eaten. The food is caught fresh daily and served fresh. Beware of the incredibely long lines during lunch time everyday of the week. The place is very popular but with popularity comes long waiting time.
