Over the past ten years, we have purchased many items large appliances from Idler's, today a new refrigerator. They meet or beat other's prices. Good service, except sometimes repair people cannot get here next day as they only hire good repair people and they can be hard to find, and so they have a limited number. Another commenter mentioned how awful it was that they saw employees walking on mattresses. LOL I guess they did not know that you MUST walk on Temper-pedics. I was so pleased that they did this for me and I did not have to walk them as friends of mine in another city did.

my husband and I attempted to enter this store but found 2 of the 3 doors locked! The signage directing customers to the "main entrance" was in extra small font hence we weren't even certain the store was open.

Idler's version of customer service allows a family of three children to be without a working oven for weeks. I am a repeat customer and have spent many thousands of dollars on appliances from Idlers. I will not buy anything from them again, nor will I recommend them to others. Jenn Air range purchased 2/9/10 failed 12/4. No service call available until 12/14, which was just an inspection to see what parts might be needed. Parts to be ordered later. "Service" department said no oven til after Christmas. When I demanded better service than that, Idlers would not pay to ship parts by overnight mail and would not permit alternate arrangements for installation by another authorized Jenn Air repairman. Jenn Air is not off the hook in my book either. While on hold for Idler's personnel, a commercial for Idlers plays, touting the fact it is a "family owned business" offering excellent customer service. Explain to me like I am a six year old how this story reflects "excellent customer service."

We have been planning a little upgrade on our kitchen for the last several months. The salesmen in the paso robles store have been so patient and always helpful even though it has taken us so long to make any decisions on the appliances we want. Finaly, we have decided what we want, the salesman printed out spec sheets and pictures of what we think we want and sent us home to make our final decision. So, while my mind is pretty made up I compared prices - their prices are lower than sears and their customer service much more personal.

I also needed to call for service to my wash machine recently - not purchased from them - a kenmore. The store I bought it from couldn't make it out to even diagnose the problem, much less fix it for more than two weeks! Idlers couldn't make it out within a day or two like I was hoping for but they did set up an appointment for just a few days later and more than a week sooner than the store I purchased the machine from. That's a big plus in my book!

Thank you Idlers, I think we will be doing business for a while!

I recently bought a washing machine from Idler's because I had heard that they had great customer service. Boy was I wrong. I paid extra for delivery and for them to pick up my old washer and dryer. They dumped the new washer in my driveway by the street and they only picked up the dryer and left the washer. I called them several times and someone always "promised" to get back to me. Noone EVER did. Finally, a week later after the 5th or so call, I got a hold of the delivery department, the lady was SO rude to me. I told her I simply wanted the washer picked up. She told me a 25 dollar refund was placed back on my card so they didn't have to come back and get the washer. I explained that I wasn't notified of that and I just wanted the washer removed. She (rudely) told me to leave a $25 dollar check on the washer and they would come get it. Well, it's been two weeks and my washer is still outside waiting. I am tired with dealing with this lame company. Obviously they need training in Customer service. I will never shop there again, what a hassle!
