I have always like Mary's Pizza. The people were very nice. I just stopped by for a quick lunch.

As far as delivery goes, Mary's is the best in the area that I've found. The eggplant Parmesan is quite good - the portion large. The pizzas are also good - available with a variety of 'sauces' - traditional red, napoletana, white ranch, olive oil. There are three varieties of crust as well. Chicken fettuccine can be prepared without chicken - with extra mushrooms & garlic for vegetarian types. Desserts were disappointing. Meat eater friends said the burgers are quite good as is the pasta with sausage and meat oriented pizzas - the Hawaiian with pineapple & ham, the pepperoni & the meat combo all favored.

Ok- first off I have to admit that I might be a bit biased because my husband worked here for a few years and we've learned how to order things to avoid somethings we don't like, and we usually know our waitperson- which helps incredibly on the service...but still this is a great family place and usually everyone can find something to eat that is pretty good. I haven't experienced the "greasy pizza" mentioned, but you do need to sometimes ask them to "drain" the heavily topped pizzas a little longer, especially with things like mushrooms, meat, and tomatoes on them. I think their pizza is really best with just a few toppings on it so they don't get so wet and the crust is a little more well cooked. Their salads are really filling and almost a meal in themselves- kind of like lettuce with an antipasto plate on top! Their dressings are all homemade and excellent (my favorite is their blue cheese and vinaigrette). Pretty much everything is made in house (dressings, soups, pastas, sauces, dough) by the chef/cook- many things are made fresh each day. The breadsticks are great- esp when served warm with the whipped butter- or try their pesto breadsticks- great flavor, but a bit greasy so don't eat too many- definitely share an order with your table. The kids love watching them make the pizzas at the counter just for that. Also make some good kids items like their hot dog (wrapped in pizza dough instead of a bun). For meat lover's don't miss their penne & sausage dish- my husbands favorite- or their Todo's pizza. They also have a good chicken sandwich and lots of vegetarian pizza and pasta options.

PROS: great fresh homemade food, great place for families or large groups
CONS: can have very long waits on weekend nights, can be noisy

Got the combo with a reluctant manager substituting the toppings on the combo so expect not to change anything on the menu. What you see is what you get. The toppings were good quality and almost to the edge. The sauce had a nice Italian flavor. The crust again was cooked OK, but it had that gum line again probably from too little water in the dough. The wholeness of the bite was a great melding of flavors. No mistaking that you were eating pizza. The price is a bit high so I question its value especially with the doughy crust. The dough is the hardest part to perfect in a pizza so I expect for $24 they should get it right.

Pros: Tasty pizza, tomato sauce

I love their salads and pasta. I've come here many times and every time the food and service have been very good. My husband loves the garlic bread and the pesto pasta.

I'm definitely a fan of their breadsticks. However, I'm not too fond of their pizza. It always seems to lean more on the greasy side. It always takes forever to have your order ready, and the restaurant is very musky and dark. They do make the pizza dough in front of you, and it's fun to watch. This place definitely needs revivement.
