If ever you find yourself in Colusa, Ca, the Colusa Riverside Inn is the place to stay for sure. My car went out on I5 and I got towed to Colusa. I ended up staying at the Colusa Riverside Inn for the whole week. The owner, TC, is a great man with a big heart and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him during my stay. His wife has the most beautiful garden full of aloe, jade plants, and a wall covered with sweet smelling jasmine. It is located directly of the river walk, and is definitely the VIP spot for watching the 4th of July fireworks (we ended up having a small communal barbeque in the parkinglot for the occasion). The rooms are nicer than you would expect, and every morning there are delicious pastries and coffee ready in the office. At worst, the Colusa Riverside Inn is a nice, quite inn in a small town that makes a great pit stop while on your travels. But really, it is a family business that cares and wants more than anything for you to be comfortable and enjoy you stay. I was pretty much stranded there, and they did everything they could to help me, even as far as giving me short rides to the store and such. Please, if you have the chance, stop in and get to know these folks.

This is my favorite place to stay when I'm in the Colusa area which is every couple months or so. It's located downtown and near several restruants, a block from the theater, and next door to one of the neatest small bowling alleys anywhere.

It's steps away from the Colusa Sacramento River State Park and access has been greatly improved by the Rotary Clubs new stairway and community river access project. It's worth checvking out.

I had to stay here a few days on business. It's hokey and outdated but clean enough and the staff was friendly. Walls are paper thin and parking was an issue, other than that, it was satisfactory. Prices were reasonable. Note: I don't think there are many options in Colusa. This might be your best bet.
