The Learning Company

My son is a Kindergartener at this school and I can't recommend it enough. The Director, Miss Joan, is the Kindergarten teacher and she does a fantastic job with the kids. I believe the maximum amount of students she accepts every year is 8 but he only has 7 kids in his class ths year. He goes all day long and the quality of education he is receiving is top notch. They also get one field trip per month and they put on the cutest plays and musical programs with the kids. My only complaint is that I'll have to find another school for my son to go to next year.

My son went to the Learning Company a few years ago. It provided a good structure and good foundation for kindergarten. However, if you're looking for a really nuturing environment, I don't think this is the place. It worked fine for my son because he had transferred from another preschool that was equally academic, but I would not say he "loved it." It does have all day care, though, which is one of the few preschools in the area that does so.

PROS: All day care, good academics
CONS: Not a nurturing environment
