Hello,

I recently had a procedure done to remove a piece of metal from my eye. The only good part of the whole experience was the Doc that preformed the removal. I paid my bill(have the receipt showing a balance of zero due-nothing owed), and was told when I left that I was paid in full and to have a nice day so I left. Two weeks later I receive an additional bill in the amount of $120 dollars. When I called their office to find out the situation I was extremely polite and respectful and was treated like garbage. As soon as I mentioned I had a question about a bill the woman was extremely rude(putting it nicely). I was told she would have to talk to the Doc the following morning at 8:30 am because every one was gone for the day (even though it was only 4:30 pm when I called?). I said that would be fine. The next morning I hadn't heard from them and it was 10:45 am so I decide to call. When I asked to speak with the woman I was put on hold for almost 15 minutes, so I hung up (I was on my cell so it wasn't free). When I called back(keep in mind I'm still being very polite through this whole thing), she told me that even though I was told by their employee(and have a receipt to prove it) that I still owed that $120. She said she would send another bill out and hung up on me. I will never give any of my business to them, nor will I recommend them to anybody. The Doc was nice, but everything else has been completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I feel like they are trying to rip me off ....I paid my bill and owe them nothing, I sincerely hope this isn't happening to other patients of theirs. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILLING STATEMENTS!

This is in response to Carrie. Ms Carrie came into that optical shop at one of their busy times, they are a first come first serve basis where you sign in. This lady had eight people ahead of her when she came in to pick up her glasses refused to sign in and wanted those opticians to stop working with patients that had signed in to wait so she could cut before us. I bet if you saw her in a grocery store and you cut in front of her she would have a Cow I'm sure! This is to you Carrie time to slow down and have a little respect for others who play by the rules.

This shop does have a good selection. But they messed up my order and it took 3 phone calls to finally get the order straight. When I went to pick up the glasses, I was treated poorly and told to come back later. I left a note asking that the glasses be sent to me. The secretary called me back and rather than apologize for messing up the order and not being able to give me the glasses when I went in, she told me she was going to charge me $7 more dollars. I asked to speak to the owner and she sent me to the manager - who had previously failed to get off his pretty seat to go to the back and retrieve my glasses. I asked the manager to let me speak to the owner and he basically told me I wouldn't be able to because the owner was sooooo busy. I had to call my insurance company to help me facility getting the eyeglasses I had already paid for and were being held hostage by this shop! Certainly more trouble than it was worth!
