Pros: Food

Cons: Some dishes are better than the other, but isn't that the case with any restaurant?

Overpriced, okay sushi but not worth the price... there's far better sushi in either direction on Ventura Blvd. (Katsu-Ya @ Colfax & Iroha Sushi just west of Coldwater) and in the case of Katsu-Ya it's also a bit cheaper.

I found this place pretentious... they acted as if they were serving highend sushi, but we found it to be okay, not bad, but not great. The uni (sea urchin) was not good. Decent variety of cold sake, but very high prices.

Our sushi chef commented on the wonderful saki we ordered, so we shared some... and he took not a modest cupful, but filled up a huge glass to the rim. The chef's special was abstract at best, leaving us to order (and handsomely pay for)
