I failed my first test. He fully explained exactly what the problems could be and advised me to have my fuel system cleaned. Well, I followed his advice and passed with flying colors. I stayed around talking about mechanics in the area and he seems to really care about what he does. Although he doesn't do any auto repairs at this place (it's a smog test only place) he himself is a mechanic.
