Riptide Arcade At Pier 39

You have to be a video freak to appreciate what this place has. It's awesome!!! I can come here and play all my favorites and feel like a kid again. They have the latest video game available and alot of the old ones too

I love to bring my grand kids here specially nikko. He is a video fanatic. This place started out very small but is now probably one of the biggest and better video arcade.

THIS IS A NICE LITTLE ARCADE SPOT THEY HAVE A BIG SELECTION ON THE ARCADES THE KIDS ALWAYS HAVE A BLAST. ITS ALWAYS A GOOD TIME WHEN WE GO THERE. JUST MAKE SURE YOU BRING PLENTY OF MONEY!

One of the reasons I love Pier 39 so much is the uniqueness of the stores and the entertainment is no exception. Riptide Arcade is probably one of the best arcades we have ever been in. (our family are amusement parks addict) It has games from that ranges from young kids to kids at heart! They are up to date with the video games. Everytime we go here theres always something new. The prices is about the same.. you must exchange you money for tokens. You get extra tokens if you get $5 and up. You win tickets which you can exchange for prices. Of course the more tickets the bigger the price. This is great fun for all!! It is easy to loose site of your kids so .. keep on eye on them at all times.

PIER 39 Arcade is a great place to take your kids and have great party site. You will need to stay with them because their are some strange people around usually. There are so many kinds of games - fun for everyone !

Riptide Arcade began on Pier 39 in 2003 after the old arcade space at the front of the Pier was taken over by the Hard Rock Cafe. It began as a small arcade as no one knew how it would do in the new location next to the Carousel at the rear of the Pier.

It was incredibly well recieved because of the increased level of service cleanliness and attention to the games. In 2004 it doubled in size and is now the same size as the old arcade. It has all the most current games and is really safe and clean.

It was recently ranked by Giant Magizine as one of the top five arcades in the country.

PS-1) If you want crowds come on the weekend or in the summer. I wish there were crowds everyday, but I can't do a thing about it.

2) If you check on similar locations, you will find our prices hugely reasonable. Given where we are, we have enormus costs and still try to keep things below the average for a location like ours.

Located in the popular Pier 39, Riptide is a place where you can spend your money playing many games. The games are quiete expensive to play and is sometimes crowded. They do not have many games but they do have the most popular ones. The more tickets you earn, the bigger the prize you will earn.

We used to go to pier 39 often when the kids were younger partly because of this arcade. It used to be bigger back then and I also think it used to be called the Namco arcade, although I could be wrong. You can still get tickets here and turn them in for those little junky prizes that the kids will never touch again. Its not as exciting anymore since they dont have all of their games anymore. They still have the basics like the qaurter dropping game, air hockey, the video games, shooting games. Nothing special though.

Riptide Arcade is located right at the entrance into Pier 39 on the right side. They are on the ground level. The times Ive been there there were hardly anyone inside playing games, in fact, it was practically empty almost. I dont know whether it was the high prices or whether it was because it was a weekday but it made my friends and I walk back out without even bother to play a game.

Overall a good Arcade but could use improvement. Not like those other arcades where you feel that instant spark to play everything. Clean and friendly environment with a wide variety of games. Price is a little on the high side.

The few times I have entered the Riptide Arcade I found it to be lacking in overall excitement. There were hardly anyone playing in there but perhaps that may be good for some that don't want to have to wait to try on any of the games there I guess. But for me I found that to be a turn-off because I like the atmosphere busy and exciting.

At the Riptide Arcade there are some really fun games. You should go there to hang out and have some fun with your friends. It has many games and they all work fine. The games are very attrating to many people. Meaning that the games are very popular with young people and people of all ages. This is a place to visit and hang out if your in town and looking for fun.

Remember the old days when video games were a quarter, or the really awesome ones were 50 cents? Not anymore, especially at the arcade on Pier 39. The cheapest you're looking at here is a dollar, and that's just for the bare bones arcade games. The fancier ones are even more expensive. They have a good variety of games, and it's fun, but boy is it expensive.

This arcade is located in the heart of San Francisco's Pier 39. It has some of the newest video games available but also some of the classics that kids still enjoy. You can let your kids play here all day while you shop the other many stores on Pier 39. There is something to ammuse everyone here and it is sure to be a good time!

Pier 39 has a small arcade that is fun and enjoyable. It used to be bigger, but now only a part of the arcade remains. They have nice games like air hockey, initial D, ddr, and much more. Kids will like this place. If they get tired, they can enjoy the rest of pier 39.
