I cannot believe the outrageous review below. I had an incredible experience with Atlas Aire. Their customer service was excellent! I got all of my questions answered and when they came out to my home, the quote didn't change! In fact, they did more work and went above and beyond my expectations. I would HIGHLY recommend Atlas Aire. Their integrity level is so refreshing. I can't say enough about them! Also, my family is happily enjoying the nice cool home again!
Thanks Ben!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY ?? Atlas repeatedly ignored our complaints and calls, outright lied to us and installed the system improperly. This is what happened to us. I reported to Atlas Aire verbally and in writing on multiple occasions the problems regarding the $15,000 central heating and air system they installed in our home in August 2007. The 4 ton system, from the initial time of installation, was unable to cool our 1500 sq.ft. house below 77/78 degrees when outside temps went above 92 degrees. The bedrooms never cooled below 82 degrees on a hot day. We spent most of August 2007, all of September 2007, and part of October 2007, in record breaking heat, as Atlas technicians struggled to both find a cause and a cure for the inability of the system to work properly. The techs were nice enough, but NEVER seemed to know what they were doing or why this would happen. In desperation the entire cooling unit was replaced, the compressor was replaced, (after something the tech did to it damaged it) new vents and ducts were added, and finally in late October Atlas pronounced us ??cured?. Of course, there was no way to actually check to see if the unit would cool properly, as the outside temps were only in the low 70??s, and if it??s wasn??t too hot outside, the system seemed to do ok. With the heat wave of June 2008, the same old problems returned. At this point we made a written request for Atlas to honor their well publicized 100% satisfaction guarantee, and return our money in its entirety within 30 days from the date of our letter. After ducking my calls and putting us off for the 30 days, the owner, Mr. Arias stated to me over and over on separate phone calls (when he would take them) that he just didn??t have the money to honor the guarantee. After I threatened Atlas with legal action, Mr. Arias finally agreed to refund our $15,000 only to show up at our home and tell us that due to a ??personal money problems and a divorce? he was only able to refund $1000, but might be willing to take out the equipment and make a payment plan with us! It took me filing a complaint with the CA Contractors Licensing Board and a filing a lien against his surety bond for Mr. Arias to finally refund a portion of our money. At the suggestion of the Contractors Board, and in the interest of not having to drag Atlas to court, I settled for a refund of $9000. We later found out from the contractor who installed the new system in our home (never a problem from day one with the new one!) that Atlas installed both the unit and the ducting improperly and it would NEVER have cooled the house correctly. If you want a company who honors their word and does quality work ?? DON??T USE ATLAS AIRE
