Strickly Reptiles

Very poor customer service and extremely arrogant attitudes. I bought a feeder rat there. the lady behind the counter put the rat in the smallest paper bag. When I asked her if she could double bag it so that it doesn't chew out of the bag, she said that the additional bag would be 50 cents. When I asked if she had an old box instead, she rolled her eyes and in an extremely rude manner replied, "Fine, now we wont have a box when someone comes in and wants 30 rats". Btw, they are always "short" on bags. The guy with the pony tail is also a complete ass. I was there one time while they were hiring a new employee (a kid). The guy with the pony tail was telling the kid that he has to let a python bite him on the hand before he could let him have the job (he was not joking). Fairly clean place. Expensive prices.

Poor,Poor,poor customer service. Selection is NOT better than any of the other Reptile stores around. Try Prehistoric times in MoVal or Prehistoric Pets in Chino or Planet Reptiles in Norco instead. And don't dare go in to this store if you're not spending Big $$$. The douche bag with the Ponytail gives the worst looks and attitudes...very short with you if you need an extra bag, have a question while there is a tall blond lady(with her kid) in the store..or if you don't kiss the ground he walks on for offering you his "Buy 20 get 4 free" mice card. THIS STORE BLOWS! I would drive to OC to avoid doing business with this tool ever again.

Poor service. I lost my job after purchasing $400 in supplies they were holding for me and wouldn't refund any of my money. You'd think in these economic times they would some what understanding. I will find another place to get supplies I need.

OK well...
Prices Compared to Pet Co. Or PetsMart* are better, But to other privet reptile ECT. "like" stores have better prices then Strickly. I find same and/or heather looking reptiles @ other places for 10$ or more less.
**PetsMart. Has a really small selection of reptiles ect.**

They Know there stuff Great help.
But needs work on people skills.
Reptiles are Healthy well taken care of. They only cary popular animals Not many special or exotics
Store Really Nice for a privet reptile store.

Over All: They are a nice place to stop at time to time but shop around for better prices and service.

But not bad. Just work on the people skills then they will get 5 stars from me :P

Recommended for: people new to reptiles there strait forward on how they tell you stuff so they will tell you how it is no sugar coting.

TIP: Bad People skills make it off putting. But they do help you and try to be nice so give them a chance.
"Don't walk in acting like you know what you are doing and you don't."

I just recently went to Strickly Reptiles and I haven't been there in about 5yrs. They have beautiful reptiles but the service is horrible. The person behind the counter was very rude. I don't know how often they check the habitats but a few of the bowls of water were empty and I didn't tell the staff because i didn't want to put them out. I really hope that in the future that they take better care of their reptiles.

They do have a good selection, and are very knowledgeable, but every time I've been there, the staff acts like they are doing me a favor by selling stuff to me. People skills are definitely lacking. I haven't been back in over a year.

I just read the last post on 2/02/08 & find it very "bitter". To allow people to be so unashamed of their comments yet cowardice in their anonymity is just plane irresponsible. Customers are allowed to shop around for whatever they are looking for: best price, quality of animals, quality of service, knowledge, availability, whatever-no need to be so nasty. Overall, the store has great appeal: its clean, the animals are well taken care of, and actually, MANY OF THE PRICES BEAT PETCO. Elliots is ok. But they do not have the REPTILE knowledge that I or most enthusiast look for. I do wish that the owner was a little more friendly. OVERALL: 8

Their prices are the worst I have seen for any of their reptiles. The owner was very rude and lacked people skills.

If anyone is looking for a good pet store, go to Elliot's for Pets. They're much better priced and friendly.

This is a pretty nice store. It is a little small, but has everything you need. The employees could be a bit more friendly, but seem to know a lot about reptiles.

were enthusiastic about their animals and told me all I'd ever need to know to take care of my purchase. The prices were a bit higher than Petsmart, but the help was invaluable.
