I am also sad to read about the bad review. We have really loved this school and our daughter ADORES it! One thing I really appreciate is the dynamic between the structure Mrs. Nita provides and the comfort that Mrs. Michelle provides. We wanted a place where our child would learn not only about colors, letters, numbers, season and the norm, but also about boundaries and socially acceptable school behavior. One of the things I like the most about the school is that it has offered this to my child. She knows what the rules at school are and that when she does not follow them she knows that there are consequences (not sitting with the group for example). There co-op atmosphere is WONDERFUL! I love the sense of community the school has offered to us. As with any school - you want to find the right fit. From our experience I have seen how well these two teachers work together and how much the children are thriving! There are also no less than 2 parents in the classroom at all times! It is simply great to be a part of this process with my child.

CCNS was highly recommended to my wife and I years ago. It's our son's second year and he loves the school and so do we. As a cooperative, I participate and can visit at any time. The environment is great for students and parents.

WOW I can't believe the review about the child being mistreated! I have sent 3 of my children to CCNS and they have thrived there. They come home singing songs they learn and talking about the fun things they do with Mrs. Nita and Mrs Michelle. They have said Mrs. Nita is silly and fun. Matter of fact they go back every year to visit and remember all the great things they did at CCNS. Not all schools are for everyone that is why there are so many in our area. Good for you for finding something that "fit" your child.

As a father it's hard to work and be gone from your children and leave them in the hands of trusted teachers. Ms. Nita the core of the school and teaching curriculum was "strict" and "oppressive" to my son. He wasn't treated with respect and often came home and told his mother, "Ms. Nita is angry." This was my sons first experience with school and I regret ever sending him there. We moved him to La Canada Preschool where he is thriving, learning, and laughing. If I could say anything to other parents I would say pay attention and be aware this place was not loving or safe for our child and we are sorry to ever to have exposed him to such a abusive environment. To all parents considering sending your child there I would issue the warning caution. It was just awful!!!!

This's our second year at CCNS. We're so lucky to be and found this school. To me, it's THE way to sent your child to school. To be able to play, grow and learn with my child at her school together. It's just a wonderful thing to see and experience. Most importantly She love going to school every morning and coming back with bunch of things that they learn that day.
Mrs. Nita and Mrs. Michelle are so experience and know what the kids need. I'm so comfortable and lucky to hand my child to them. Knowing they can educated them better than I do. And love them as much as I do.

My child is currently a Busy Bear this year, and attended last year as a Darling Duck. She absolutely loves this school and I love Mrs. Nita and Mrs. Michelle. I also love being involved so closely with the school and being able to work there. I think this is an excellent preschool.

My 4 year old daughter attends the school at the moment and she loves it! There is such a wonderful support and nourishing system among the parents and teachers. I can not say enough about how great CCNS is, so much so that we have put our 6 months old on the wait list for 2013.

My oldest daughter just started at CCNS this fall, and she loves it! She looks forward to going to school, comes home excitedly describing lots of activities from the day, and has already made some great new friends. As a co-op I have the added benefit of remaining very involved, which my daughter and I both love. The other families are so warm, loving and supportive. I feel so lucky to be involved in this school!

My son loves CCNS! He is in the Busy Bears class (4-year-olds). He has learned so much from Mrs. Nita, and I know he will be prepared for kindergarten next year. Since it is a co-op, it is wonderful to be able to participate in my son's school experience and see what he is learning and how he is doing.

Being new to the idea of preschool I was referred to CCNS thru a friend. So far my "Darling Duck" always has a smile on his face when the topic of preschool comes up. The parents are assigned different responsibilities and the school is run in a very organized way. Parents are informed daily of new information and communication lines are open. Being a newcomer to preschool I find this family loving and helpful.

I love CCNS and more importantly, my son loves CCNS! :O) We enrolled in CCNS this year as a 'Darling Duck', from the first day of class my son just loves the attention and activities that are provided there. He is literally learning something new everyday and comes home singing! It's adorable.

There is one teacher, one teacher's assistant and 2 parents in the classroom daily. With just 15 students my son is guaranteed proper attention and learning. Everyone is extremely nice and professional. I truly feel CCNS is the perfect fit for us and could not be more pleased!

2 out of 3 of my children have attended CCNS. My youngest will attend when she is old enough :) We love CCNS and the teachers, the board, and the other parents that we've shared time with. My son currently attends. My daughter graduated the program and entered Kindergarten with more confidence, knowledge, and excitement than many of her peers. I give credit where it is due~ To a loving structured home, and to a loving structured preschool: CCNS. Children at this school learn everything from appropriate social behavior to site words and sign language. Ours years at CCNS will really be treasured for years to come. It is a very special place.

My son is currently attending his second year at the school and we've had a wonderful experience. He loves his teacher and his social and emotional skills have improved greatly during his time there. The board of directors along with the teachers are working hard to provide the children with a safe and supportive learning experience and I've seen first hand how much the teacher cares for her students and wants the best for all of them. Parent participation helps maintain tuition very affordable.

I have been through the co-op program here at CCNS with both of my kids for a total of 4 years. The loving and caring nature of this school has made it easy for me as parents to trust that my children are taken care of while I was away. Mrs Nita the director and teacher at the school is wonderful with the kids. She gives them the love and attention they need at the same time disciplines them so that they are ready for their upcoming years at school. I found my children to benefit a lot from this program. I learned a lot just being there and being involved. I totally recommend this program.

I left this school. I had a poor experience. On numerous occasions I was approached by a parent and told that my son was treated badly. We were unable to stay. When I voiced my concerns the teachers at the school didn't even call or talk to me. The teacher has no one to be accountable to and has freedom to behave inappropriately. I am very saddened by my experience.
