Not from Clayton, so don't have a political agenda to push in this review, but as a church, this was fantastic! The people seemed 'real', the worship was contemporary, and the Pastor seemed incredibly intelligent and nice. Would definitely visit again on a Sunday morning!

Clayton's small but exciting historic Downtown is ALL planned and zoned for commercial/retail, and it is needed for the revenue it would generate to local government, and to carry out the desires of the Clayton citizens for more shops, stores, places to hang out, and to complete commercially the Plan that millions of tax dollars have been spent to carry out.
The CCC instead has an opportunity to buy the 1.6 acre vacant prime land, even though it's not zoned for a church, and instead of stepping back, is putting its 700 members concerns above the 12,000 people of Clayton. Not very "church-like" Hopefully they'll realize this and "do the right thing" to let it instead be built commercial/retail.
