Fat Apple's Restaurant-Bakery my husband was raised in berk and has been to fat apples many times but ive just been twice so far and i love it. the pork chops with camelized pears and onions was soooooo good, the entire dinner was fresh and tasty. we went a couple of wks ago and had breakfast. the pumpkin pancakes were to die for. so good and the chicken apple sausage and potatoes were great. the portion size is not huge enough for left overs but it will fill you up. were going back tomorrow... They have you basic breakfast fare (eggs, waffles, pancakes, etc). I think they serve lunch and dinner as well. The wait-staff are usually pretty friendly. The chicken pot pies are huge and scrumpous. The atmosphere is a bit on the noisy side but service is quick and friendly and the tables are kept clean. They're especially known for their breakfast. There is also a bakery area for take-out and the baked items look delicious. This is NOT a fancy restaurant - informal, bustling, tables just slightly closer together than I would prefer. I had eaten at the restaurant several times and enjoyed it but the last time I was there (for dinner) I ordered Chicken Pot Pie. I got no sleep that night because I was in the bathroom puking - I suspect food poisoning from the Fat Apple meal. I haven't been back since.
