Fat Apple's Restaurant-Bakery

my husband was raised in berk and has been to fat apples many times but ive just been twice so far and i love it. the pork chops with camelized pears and onions was soooooo good, the entire dinner was fresh and tasty. we went a couple of wks ago and had breakfast. the pumpkin pancakes were to die for. so good and the chicken apple sausage and potatoes were great. the portion size is not huge enough for left overs but it will fill you up. were going back tomorrow...

We have been here a few times. They have you basic breakfast fare (eggs, waffles, pancakes, etc). I think they serve lunch and dinner as well. The wait-staff are usually pretty friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way go to this restaurant, but it is a decent place eat if it's nearby.

Ive been to this restaurant many times, and have enjoyed each visit. indeed, it can be loud and bustling, but what can you expect? the food they serve here is american food, and is great to come for their breakfasts. their milkshakes are really good and taste just like ice cream when you slurp it up through your straw. prices are inexpensive, and the atmosphere is good.

This restuarant is wonderful for a home style meal that you don't have to cook! The chicken pot pies are huge and scrumpous. The atmosphere is a bit on the noisy side but service is quick and friendly and the tables are kept clean.

I really did like this place it has a warm homely feel to it and a wide selection of different foods are available on the menu. They have plenty of parking and the wait staff are friendly and attentive.

This restaurant serves "down-home" or "country-style" comfort food. They're especially known for their breakfast. There is also a bakery area for take-out and the baked items look delicious.
This is NOT a fancy restaurant - informal, bustling, tables just slightly closer together than I would prefer.
I had eaten at the restaurant several times and enjoyed it but the last time I was there (for dinner) I ordered Chicken Pot Pie. I got no sleep that night because I was in the bathroom puking - I suspect food poisoning from the Fat Apple meal. I haven't been back since.

PROS: Nice baked goods, comfort food
CONS: I got food poisoning!
