Peninsula Gymnastics is a wonderful gym for learning the sport of gymnastics. My children have been enrolled in classes for the past 3 years and still love it. I haven??t attended a birthday party here so my review is based on mid-week structured classes.

I am impressed with the attention they give each child to ensure the gymnasts are careful and I have not seen any injuries during classes.

The rates for classes are comparable to area gyms but the high level of coaching is impressive. I feel like I am getting a great deal because I see my girls developing into quality athletes and they are in great shape.

If you want to learn the tough sport of gymnastics I recommend this gym. If you just want to play around without structure this may be too much for your child.

They offer a free class to see if the classes are right for you. It??s worth checking out. Be aware, parking is a problem. The police do patrol the area and give out tickets. Be prepared to walk up to a block away for parking.

.

The facility is large and has an array of equipment. The parking is sometime difficult. The management seems a bit unorganized at times.

Overall the instruction is professional and safe. They have a small room for parties which are always a hit.

Average priced classes. Peninsula is definately more extensive than Little Gym or Gymboree for tots.

Unlike Gymboree, Peninsula Gym performs real gymnastics and offers lessons for aspiring professional gymnasts. They also have great birthday parties. We have been to three birthday parties there and have enjoyed ourselves each time. The kids follow the leader around the gym, doing different gymnastics events, and the party always ends with a photograph of the group on their boat shaped toy. There is a party room where you can bring lunch and/or cake.
