The games are cheap and entertaining. You get to spend family time but it's also great with birthday parties. There is an entrance fee but it's better than spending hundreds of dollars going to Disneyland. Everybody loves video games, right?

It's a great way to kill an afternoon without killing your bank account. An affordable way to put on a birthday party for a younger brother and friends. Free games in the back if you run out of nickels.

I discovered Nickel Nickel a few years ago, in a pretty dingy building that I was at first skeptical to enter. It's definitely a run down place, but a good time for a cheap price. You pay a small fee to get in, and then everything you play is either free, or a nickel or two. I think I spent about ten dollars total for my wife and I the last time we went, and we were playing games for a little over three hours. So it is definitely worth the money. In the back they have some classic games that are all free, and towards the front they have newer games that cost anywhere up to five nickels. I did notice that a lot of the newer games were broken, so that was a little disappointing. Nonetheless, if you are looking for some cheap entertainment, check out Nickel Nickel.

PROS: cheap entertainment
CONS: kind of dingy and run down

A definite blast from the past! Nickel Nickel features classic arcade games which can be played for free or for just a nickel.
You pay a small admission fee and then you're off and playing great games you haven't seen in arcades in years. A great walk down memory lane.
