Took my dog mocha in for some stomach issues, mocha is a 6 year old lab. Turns out mocha had a blockage in her intestine, after a a few tests to rule out any infections or rumors, surgery it was. 3 days post surgery now & dog is as good

We have been going to Los Alamitos Animal Hospital for several years and have always had the best experience. Their staff in both the front office and the back are both extremely compassionate for our animals and always do their best when

Went to this animal hospital. Dog needed to be euthanized and the staff seemed so heartless. Vet didn't want to talk to you unless you paid an additional "office visit" fee. For people in the field of taking care of animals, they were the worst I've ever seen!!! My pet is my child.....no compassion what so ever!!!!

Staff more interested in trying to sell teeth cleaning for my dogs and cats instead of explaining a real problem with the animals (I had to find out that from another vets office). Unfriendly, rude (the actual doctors are nice but one sees them for a fraction of the appointment time. The staff my family has encountered in multiple visits is not as nice; very cold and uncaring. They over schedule patient exams consistently. Last visit we were asked to stand outside in 88 degree heat with our two dogs (off a very busy street) for 45 minutes past our appointment time because one of our dogs was barking and they didn't have a room ready. About a year ago, my wife had gone in to put our 18 year old cat down - she had to wait in one of their small cramped rooms for over forty five minutes --- that was with an appointment scheduled and a stressful one at that. If you do go, be prepared wait and then to be guilted into buying unnecessary procedures. Be prepared to hear something like "oh, you are a family that doesn't care about your pets health". Actually, my family cares very much for our pets. That is why we now take our animals to another vet. Better health care for the animals with no guilt. We're only sorry for the three painful years we wasted with this vet.

Los Alamitos Animal Hospital is an excellent facility for the care of all your familes pets. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and they genuinely care about the wellfare of your pet. Naturally, as with any medical care, the cost can be quite high depending on what type of treatment is required.
