Wax Museum  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

We have been taking family and friends here for years. This is a great place to take your out of town visitors. The upkeep and gone down over the years, and the staff can use a class in manners. I still enjoy each visit though.

wax museum  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This is a neat place to take people if they have never been to a wax museum. However I think it is a bit pricey and dirty. The people that work here are not always the friendliest.

Wax Museum  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

This wax museum I think is done better then ones in other cities. I really like that they change the exhibits (well I may go every 5 yrs when family is in town) - other ones I have gone back to are the exact same. This one feels cleaner too.

Wax Museum  5 Star Rating - World class

One of the unreal places to visit and meet all the celebrities in one place. The Wax Museum have hundereds of wax made celebrities that look so real. I think the admission is a little bit expensive to see some waxed figures but I guess its worth the experience. Be careful because some kids did get freaked out with the horror figures.

Waste of Money  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Ive only been in the Wax Museum once just to try it out and I definitely will never go again. The outside looks really cheap and cheesy and the inside exhibits are no where much better either. I though it was a waste of my money and I would not recommend anyone to waste their hard earned money in this museum.

Wax Museum  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I really do not know how to rate the wax museum. It is an interesting concept. The museum has a display of different statues in teh front to attract people to visit inside. When you walk in, yousee a display of many famous people. It is a little frightening how life like they look. The prices are a little high compared to other museums, but you have to expereince this musuem once. Its strange, kinda in a good way.

Not Even Close  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

This place is a total rip-off! I can't believe how really bad the images are -- many of them bear absolutely no resemblance at all, and others (like Elvis) you recognize because of the clothing, sideburns, etc. Unrealistic skin, awful hair, and contrived poses -- really bad.

The only fun thing in the whole place was the "electric chair"

Wax Museum  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I have gone into the Wax Museum once just to try it out with a couple of my friends. The front entrance is like a movie theater with advertisements showing samples of the wax figures they have inside. The front also looked desolate like it's an abandoned theater which gave me the creeps. Anyways the wax figures inside were a little creepy as well and I would recommend not going in there by myself.

Entertaining enough..  4 Star Rating - Very good

If you want to see some stuff that looks cool or that will give you nightmares visit the Museum Wax Entertainment Complex. They have wax people of celebrities to hollywood horror movie killers. Good place to scare the kids but I don't recommend doing that. Teens would like it and it's something to see out fo the ordinary.

Wax Museum  4 Star Rating - Very good

We had a great time going through the Wax Museum. They have a great showcase of very life-like wax replicas of many famous celebrities. The outside of the building has some pictures of the wax people that they are showcasing within but you really need to see them in person to appreciate it. A definite pleaser for the family.

Creepy  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

I made a mistake once and went into the Wax Musuem just out of curiosity. I was not at al impressed. It was kind of creepy actually to see all these statues. Some of them resembld who they were supposed to and others were downright off. I think this is just meant to steal money from tourists. There is nothing fun about this musuem. What a waste of money!!

It is what it is  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Wax museums all seem like a repeat of each other--they probably are. It's something you should go to once, and that's enough. The prices are high for what you get. I'd watch out taking any young kids here because they seem to get a bit freaked out by the weird looking wax figures. We seem to get dragged into this one when we have out of town guests in town. Not worth the money at all.

Just another Fisherman's Wharf Tourist Trap  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Unless you are a fan of hilarious unintentional comedy, do not go to the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf. If you're interested at all in wax figures and sculpting, you will be severely disappointed when you see the jumbled bodies and misshapen heads of famous people throughout time. I get the impression walking through it that they didn't put a lot of time matching heads to the bodies. You see tiny heads on huge bodies and some massive melons on puny bodies. Abraham Lincoln looks like he was beaten with a brick, and the only thing scary about the "Chamber of Horrors" is the thought of your credit card bill after coming to this sham of an attraction. Stay away. Stay far far away.

ANOTHER wax museum? Yikes.  4 Star Rating - Very good

Wax museums creep me out. All of them. Which is why I can never resist going to one when it presents itself. What do you know, there's one right here at FIsherman's Wharf. The Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf has an entirely random collection of people meticulously recreated in wax. Admission prices are relatively high, so if this is not your idea of a good time (or a morbid fascination), you'll be perfectly fine with passing this one up.

If, however, you enjoy the wax museum idea, make sure to check out the Chamber of Horrors.
