Minnette's Antiques Etcetera

What you HAVE to do is dig, and for those of us who arn't pretentious, we do it. The last review underates Minnettes entirely. Maybe an older woman can't find the inherent beauty with in, but I have, and gone back many times to review the collection. It's true that it is a mess and you have to spend time sorting though it to find what you're looking for, but at the end, especially since they specialize in accessories, you will definitely find unique vintage pieces no one else has. YES you have to search for it, but that's what makes it all the more fun. They are extremely friendly and the prices are reasonable depending on the items. Take a peek and judge for yourself, don't take my word for it.

There were some antiques and collectibles in this shop, but there was also a lot of stuff that saw better days at the flea market. Except for the jewelry that was encased, there was no organization to anything. I found a pair of candlesticks from the 70s that were in a color I liked, picked one up to inspect and it had one of the most horrible glue jobs on it I'd ever seen. (Correction: it WAS the worst I'd ever seen.) And it was marked $28. I don't think so. *Someone* might find the thing of their dreams there, but I wouldn't go back.
