Was with ADP payroll services for over 10 years. Mid-year 2009 we switched to another payroll provider because ADP kept making mistakes and most of our contacts with ADP employees were frustrating. We had reached our limit. I called ADP when we didn't get W-2's for 2009 and was informed that they would not be doing our W-2's because we dropped them mid-year. This meant I had to do our own W-2's, w-3, 941, 940, DE6 and DE7. ADP is not returning our phone calls to get them to do their job, so I have to do it manually. ADP is awfull. When I reach someone, 9 times out of 10 times, they do not call back as promised OR they do not do what they say they will do as promised. I even explained all this to a sup/mgr that we were clients for 10 years and if we could get decent service we might have stayed - he did not seem to care. Highly recommend not using ADP.

I call ADP once a week when I process my payroll and I always get effective up to date assistance. I never feel like I'm calling back to much the client service reps always go above and beyond I will never go to another payroll company and besides ADP is the #1 payroll processing company.

I wouldnot have thought of adding my review had i not read the previous one but we have been working with ADP for almost a year and have no complaints whatsoever. I call them almost 3 times a month for whatever reasons (adding a new state for payroll etc) and get connected in well within 2 minutes and the CSR's are very informed and upto date. If not they put you on hold for 2 minutes and get back with the updated information.
PROS: Very efficient and courteous
CONS: COstly as compared to other local payroll agencies

They have such a huge clientel that getting through to someone who can actually help you can be a nightmare. The employees try, but they get so overwhelmed that just keeping up is a nightmare. It is not uncommon to be on hold, waiting to give payroll information or trying to solve a paycheck problem for an hour or more. If you have a choice, go with another company.
