**"Mi Favorito Restaurante Autntico!"**

Authentic Mexican Cuisine is not easy to find! Miguel's impresses even the salsa-savviest connoisseur!

The colorful and unique architecture of Miguel's at Dos Lagos transports you instantly to a lively south of the border fiesta! Rustic wrought iron doors lead you into an indoor courtyard straight out of a Mexican pueblo! A warm fireplace comforts and lends a homestyle welcome. Festive decor and a large Sun chandelier add to the truly Mexican ambiance. Rich with color and vibrant hues, this is a dining experience you won't want to miss!

Mexican flavor blended with a fun California touch! The owner Maria and her son Javier happened to be there during our visit, which shows the amount of dedication the family invests into their restaurants. To this day, Maria makes her Mol sauce from a family recipe handed down for generations using 24 ingredients! And I know personally no good mol can be made with less! Everything looked fresh, clean, and deliciso!

My friends and I ordered the sizzling Chicken Fajitas (huge portions and sides and generous on the guacamol!), the Sonora Roll (tender pork!), Baja Cali (sauted) and Baja Cabo (flash-fried) Fish Tacos, and the famous Miquel's Chile Rellenos (like homemade!). And to toast?...I had the original "Caliente" Margarita shaken with serrano chiles! My new Favorite Cocktail!

The patio has a breathtaking view of the Lagos--perfect spot to get away from daily stresses and relax with your margarita by the water!

There is a one-of-a-kind Lounge inside of Miguel's called Aqua which is a great place for friends enjoy some margaritas made with the good stuff: 100% Blue Agave Tequila. You'll definitely find me here on Sundays for Brunch!!

The food was amazing! I've been looking for a great Mexican restaurant in the area and now I've found it.
The chips are fresh and came to the table still warm, I ordered the quacamole on a whim and it did not dissapoint, the avocados were ripe and full of flavor. The carnitas burrito was tender and delicious, I added a little sour cream and guacamole and it was perfect. The homemade flan had a great eggy flavor and just enough carmel, it was fantastic.
A good amount of food for the price, the interior and exterior are nicely decorated and I can't wait to eat there again.

Pros: Food, Great Parking, Large Restaurant and Faboulous Service

Cons: Didn't really have any.

I really like this place. It's always packed but great food. The service is alright. The food sometimes takes a while but its pretty much worth the wait.

Tried Miguel's for the first time this weekend after a long bike ride. Even with a big appetite I couldn't finish all my food. I ordered the chicken flautas and they were HUGE! Fresh white meat chicken throughout the whole thing. My boyfriend ordred a chicken fajita salad and that was also superb. Service was a bit slow but they were probably just giving us time to eat our meal.

Miguels is a favorite of ours. It's a good place for business lunches or Friday night happy hour. You'll be impressed with their margaritas! The service is always great, prices reasonable, and the food predictable good. My favorite...chicken quesadillas.

It may not be 100% authentic mexican food but pretty darn close. Not sure what restaurant the other guy rated (the fast food Miquels I think) because this place hasn't even been there 20 years.

It has a nice atmosphere and yummy food. Have eaten there numerous times and have never been disappointed. Awesome service as well. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Nothing, other than it is always busy but don't ever have to wait long for a seat. Lots of room.

If you like the "breakfast of champions" you will love this place! Also try the carnitas it can't be beat! The tortillas are out of this world.

Pros: Fast friendly service and great food!

Cons: You can see the place from the 91 frwy but just try to get there.....

This is not the place to get authentic Mexican food. It is underwhelming. The little Mom and Pop places in town can do much better. Save your money and go elsewhere. The only saving grace is the atmosphere. But I eat out because it tastes good. I have given this restaurant a chance to redeem itself several times over the past 20 years, and it still disappoints me.
