Love Sushi & Roll

WORST PLACE TO EAT!! The worst service I have ever had and won't go back. Had to flag down a waitress for everything. Came for a special birthday dinner for our 2-year old. We left very unhappy and no happy birthday or anything. They actually argued with my husband when he said something about the bad service. We used to go here all the time but we will never go back. The food is definitely not good enough to deal with this bad service.

Also Got Food Poisoning, Don't Go
I took my in-laws one day because I had heard the good reviews from a few people. Apparently we weren't so lucky. Both my in-laws got the I think It's called the Love Sushi special Hand Roll. I was special alright. The minute my mother-in-law bit into it she knew it just didn't taste right. So, my father-in-law polished the rest off. Both were violently ill within 6 hours. We called 3 different times and got the brush-off and our call was never returned by a manager. Terrible customer service. After talking with other people i found out there have been numerous other cases and the same management response. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

We have previously gone to this place many times in the past. Prior to the renovation, they had good sushi, decent service, and great prices. After the renovation, we have been there several times, and each time the service has been appalling, the food mediocre, and the prices higher.

This last time, we went and had octopus. The moment we put the octopus in our mouth, we could tell it was RANCID. The octopus was so bad that it made my friend violently sick instantly and it ruined our evening. We then asked what they were going to do about it and they were callous and uncaring, business as usual, about the sickness. They weren't even concerned if other people might get sick.

Later that evening, I hadn't finished my beer, and they took it from me in their rush to clean the table. We asked them to comp the meal that night, and they refused initially.

This Sushi place used to have a "B" rating. They have now cleaned that up, but they haven't cleaned up their act. They are now simply profits over people, instead of a great place that they used to be.

I just went to Love Sushi for my birthday. The atmosphere there is so much fun and the food was great (the drinks too, of course!). It looked really crowded, but our party of 3 got in at the bar within 15 minutes.

Our absolute favorite sushi place (and we've tried many!!)! The rolls are fabulous and plentiful, and the fish is always fresh. Good prices, good service. Unfortunately, it gets super crowded, so go early/late or get to-go. Some of our favorites are the Love Rice Crispy, Forever Roll, 911 Roll--Yum--spicy and special!

Great sushi at a great price. It's a popular place and often times is very crowded. The service and selection is good. The sushi is always fresh. Perfect for lunch or dinner.

I was a little weary on trying sushi when my mom suggested this place. When she ordered my sushi for me, I was thinking, "where have you been all my life?!" This place is AMAZING!! The place is small but makes for a nice environment and the prices are great! I highly recommend the house special roll, valencia roll, or lobster hand roll. I now take ALL of my friends to eat there! I'm actually going tomorrow! :D

Too crowded and too good! Always a wait, but worth it--fresh, delish and reasonably priced. Most of the rolls are amazing--try the Forever Roll, Scallop, and the Lobster Roll! Great Spicy Tuna too. We keep looking, but so far, this is our favorite place for sushi in Santa Clarita and we travel from the San Fernando Valley!

This place is awesome! Don't be put off by the hole-in-the-wall like ambience. The food is truly Japanese Sushi, with a splash of Americanese so you raw-fish scaredy cats won't freak out. Prices are insane: Check out two pieces of Maguro (Tuna) - $2.80!!! That's AWESOME!! If you go there, be sure and invite me for a piece or two! Plus, the husband and I love the sushi artists who are constant: Tom, Peter, and John - great guys who are lightning fast. Watch out for the serving staff, though. They were great in the earlier years, but seem to only cater to the super regulars. I had to wait 10 minutes for a water. :(
