Centrally located in SF's up-and-coming "TenderNob" district, the Element Lounge provides a program specializing in the stimulation of senses. While the state-of-the-art sound system pours out a collection of mashed-up hip-hop and house dance music, partygoers can enjoy the provocative art, live instrumental and vocal performances, innovative cocktails, and the finely tuned decor. The space is purpose-built for moving and grooving bodies with a vaulted ceiling surrounding the dance-floor that doubles as the club's epicenter. From this vantage point, the Element experience comes alive through a unified and timeless decor of steel, river rock, fire, water, aged woods,& Akasha. Each night involves the careful selection of all the right ingredients and characters that combine to make a progressive and eclectic crowd mix. Warm, chic, vibrant, and musically charged ? the Element Lounge awaits you.

In Short
Beneath a vaulted ceiling, the dance floor gets amplified with a DJ's mix-matched collage--hip-hop, '80s and house. The $10 admission is waived for groups of up to 25 people reserving the Akasha Room: a private space bordered by 11-foot-high steel walls. Smaller parties (up to six revelers) can purchase executive table service, which also includes entrance and a personal server. Every month, a different fruit-laden elixir is mixed by the bartenders.

Ratings_icons great place

Tucked away in Lower Polk, but if you find it, you're in for a treat. We have had so much fun dancing, drinking, meeting people every time we have been there.

Pros: decor & lighting, great crowd, good music

I am a transplant from the East Coast and this place reminds me so much of the best NYC has to offer. Great DJs spinning mashup, old school hip hop, funky house. The crowd is loyal, fun, and vibrant. I have even made lasting friends at Element. Crazy huh?! Anyways, it's swanky but unpretentious and so far, has always been great.

Pros: Great sfaff, Tasty Cocktails, Right Size

I had my birthday party in the Akasha room at Element. The staff was fabulous and the music was awesome. I would recommend anyone to have their special event or birthday there. So many good looking boys behind the bar too!

This was the hottest club I have seen in SF...you almost feel like you are in the East Village at an underground spot that is always popping. The girls are beautiful and the ratios are really good. Always a nice crowd and fun beats....

Ratings_icons Excellent vibe!

The atmosphere is chill, low-lit with lots of candles. The drinks are stiff and the music is kickin' (with live hot "sax"!)! Try the Blue Mamba--tasty.
