We came to this restaurant because it was recommended as being good and decent for the price. The place ended up being nicer than expected with a name like "Pacos Tacos." The waiter was nice and real fast getting the orders in as well as our drinks. Everyone else ordered tacos and I ordered enchiladas, which was a huge mistake. No one else got sick, but I sure did. Just about an hour after we ate I felt sick and a few moments after that it all came back out and ruind my vacation for a couple days. Not only did everything come back up, but I also got the stomach flu. I'm big on hygiene and my dish proved there are people there who don't care about personal cleansing. I'll never go back there again.

Pros: Nothing if you get rid of the food the same night you eat it

Cons: Poor hygiene ends up making you pay for it later

Everything that I have ever ordered from this place is excellent and it's authenticate, just check out the handmade corn tortillas being baked by the little Mexican woman as you walk to your seat. The atmosphere is awesome, a little dark with Mexican design.

For first timers, I highly recommend the carne asada taco combo. You've never had carne asada this way before. The pieces are nice and chunky, slightly chard, and wrapped in the homemade tortillas. Excellent chips and salsa (some places have good food and crappy salsa, others vice-versa, but not here, they have both). For an appetizer, I recommend the fundido, melted cheese with a little bit of chorizo in the middle and homemade corn tortillas. Excellent rice and beans as well.

The service is good, it's pricier than a typical Mexican restaurant, but its way worth it.

I'm Mexican-American, born in East L.A., raised by immigrants of Mexico, so I don't have the whitewashed taste for Mexican food and know the difference between taco bell and what I'll be having at the family parties.

Pros: Authentic Mexican food

Cons: Somewhat pricey

This restaurant has great quality Mexican food. The dining area even has a small station at which you can see some of the food preparation. Staff is always courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Prices are more reasonable than those at the well-known Mexican Food restaurants.

The food at Pacos Tacos is very good. I really like the burritos and the carnitas. The albondigas soup is also very good. Their tortillas are homemade (there is an area were you can see women making the tortillas), so they are really good. The service is good and the restaurant is spatious, but it can be a little noisy, since the place is usually packed. Highly recommended.

i dont understand this place. this food is decent. high prices. it is a shame that as a hispanic customer, you get mistreated by the hispanic staff. the restaurant prefers and treats the white clientle better. also i see thst my previous scathing review was removed. i wonder why!!

This is the larger, family version of Pacos. They have children's menus, lots of large tables, and even a waiter that does magic tricks.

The drinks at this place seem to be quite week. The food is good, if inconsistent. Suggest choosing a wet burrito for a warm, gravy like meal that won't disappoint.

This is the second and newer of the two Pacos restaurants (the original being on Centinela). This one has a much larger waiting area but somehow less of an authentic homey feel than the first restaurant. Still great food, affordable prices, same terrific margaritas and friendly, prompt and attentive staff.

I just got back from dinner at Pacos a few hours ago, so I'm primed to write an honest and current review. As always it was a great experience and I am unbelieveably full. The service is fairly attentive, despite it being very busy (it is always packed). Chips and salsa are THE BEST, bar none, I have ever had. I eat so many I am hardly hungry when my entree arrives. I always get the De Yucatan, Cochinita Pibil (Pork marinated in a special BBQ sauce) and I love it. Portions are good, prices are fair (OK maybe a bit high) but it's worth it. In my opinion Pacos does everything well, and I always leave happy, what more can I ask for? Granted I am not a mexican food guru, but I am pretty picky about food in general and Pacos never disappoints.

Pros: The best chips and salsa in the world, great food, nice atmosphere, good service

Cons: Prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants I've been to

Paco's Tacos serves good tacos, and the speedy service and laid-back atmosphere make this the perfect place for a quick lunch or an early dinner. Their tortillas are homemade, their salsas are fresh, and the overall experience is quite nice.

My husband and I use to go to Paco's at least every 2 weeks but we are finished with this place. Prices keep rising, service is inconsistent and they have now cut down on their portions! I understand inflation but give me a break! If you are going to keep raising prices, you need to compensate somewhere. The last 2 times we were there, we were given food without silverware and could not get the attention of our waiter. Also, he brought out our tortillas after we were finished with our food. If I am going to pay $14 bucks for an entree, I expect decent service. Listen to my advise "EAT AT GILBERTS!!!!"

I took my husband here for his birthday dinner because I heard they sing happy birthday and put a charro hat on the birthday person while a flan with candle is brought to them by surprise. I informed the host and she stated she would let our waiter know... By the end of the meal not only did they rush us out, but the waiter never brings a flan and no singing.. The food was terrible yuck!! The drinks where horrible...I went and asked the host what happened and her excuse was "she got busy" a sorry excuse for a Monday night with very few costumers. Never again, will recomend or go to such a shady restaurant. Until today I still have heartburn from the food or maybe from such a terrible experience and let down from an evening that was suppose to be special and fun. They ruined the surprise. The service sucked! The staff was not sympathetic to their mistake.

I really don't know why this palce has such great reviews. I went there with my bf expecting really good mexican food, only to discover the horrible serive and burritos. I had a chicken burrito and all it came with was CHICKEN???!! ues folks a chicken and a tortilla no salsa, guacamole, beans UGH disgusting i left my burrito on the plate. The server ignored us and was extremely feisty. Please don't come here you're better off at EL TARASCO on sepulveda! yuummy burritos and margaritas for half the price!

GREAT customer service. Affordable with EXCELLENT drinks. Not watered down. Could use a little more light in restuarant area but otherwise, a terrific eatery. Watch out for the extremely HOT salsa!!!!

This place is amazing. I brought my daughter there (when she was three) for our first "mother" "daughter" day. It was truly a treat and we have been going back ever since. They are VERY child friendly. I highly recommend this place. The prices are amazing and it's always enough food to take home with you.

Paco's is one of the greatest mexican joints around. The food is good. But the drinks are better, Roman makes a killer Mai Tai. If you come more than once and sit at the bar, Roman, Tomas and Lorecto WILL remember your favorite drink. And just to let you know something else...The HOT WINGS kill. So for good food, and great margaritas, (and Monday nite football) stop by. You'll just love it too!

A great Mexican food spot for the L.A. crowd.

While I cannot vouch for all the entrees, the fresh home made torillas are worth the visit.

Do try the carne asada or enchiladas.

The beans are savory and a true treat.

PROS: Home made tortilla
CONS: Corny decor

I have been going to Paco's Forever! I hit this location up every Wednesday (or try to) and have my usual 2 chicken tacos and a bannana cadillac margarita. YUMMY!

Robert, is a cute waiter with his magic tricks. Ask for Robert to wait on you. Sometimes
there is a little bit of a wait. This place does not do reservations (unless for a real big group). If you are looking for GREAT Mexican food that is not Commercial (like the others) this is your place to try. Stop by once and I bet you come back again and again.

So-cal chain serves up Mexican combo, fajitas and a variety of special dishes. beef or chicken tacos paired with cheese enchiladas, rice and beans is a crowd-pleasing fave. The margaritas--especially the classic lime on the rocks with salt--is the best margarita in L.A.

This Paco's Tacos has good food and decent service. However, it's not that different from the big chains (El Torito and Acapulco).

If you want something better, go to the one on Centinela, not too far from this one.
