Miguel's Cocina

Whenever you are in charming Coronado, make it a point to enjoy a meal at Miguels. There may be a wait, but it is worth it. The food is excellent and is affordable, not cheap, but reasonable. The setting, especially on the patio at night under the white lights adorning the trees, is delightful. If it is slightly cool out, they have plenty of heaters.
They only take reservations for very large parties, but if there is a wait, drop by and give them your name and then return at the guesstimated time that the hostess give you. If not, simply sit in the charming courtyard and munch on their delicious chips and salsa, and enjoy a beverage too. Everything about this restaurant is muy bueno. Enjoy!

They have this amazing dip for tortilla chips simply called white sauce. We always end up eating so many chips were full by dinner, but there food is really good to. Get there early because they are always packed.

In the summer the wait to be seated can be over an hour. They don't take reservations for parties smaller than 5. Go in the winter. The food is good mexican, with enough variety for even my finicky kids - but the margaritas are the best I've found. My favorite is the "millionaire" but there are a variety to choose from.

I have been here a few times. Each time the experience has been different. If the food was good, the service sucked. If the food sucked the service made up for it. It would be a great place if you could get both good food and good service.

This is a very comfortable restaurant on Coronado Island. Miguel's has a very nice menu and the world best Ceviche - no kidding. I've always been impressed with their 'catch of the day' and really enjoy the variety of their menu.

Its a really fun place to meet after work and enjoy the open patio. I've never had a bad meal there and have always had a good time. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
