I love this sandwich place. My friend introduced me to this place about three years ago and I fell in love with it. I usually get the steak and cheese shorty sized sandwich is still huge. I think it is impossible to finish a twelve inch. I would highly recommend this place to all.

My friend used to always tell me about this great cheese steak he always got. I finally decided to go there myself and I was so glad I did. The cheesesteaks are perfect!

Amato's is off the hook!!! I've been eating here since 1997, I've never had a bad experience. I love the bread here... If anyone ever wants a great Philly Cheesesteak, you gotta go to Amato's...

It's hard to believe that Amato's isn't more crowded than it usually is. They serve the most incredible cheesesteak sandwiches! The portions are huge - even the smallest option was almost too much to finish and the sides (onion rings, cheese fries, etc.) are yummy, too.

The kids want good pizza and you want a something else or a nice salad. Here you go, the kids love this place and I have to say I enjoy going here. Excellent service and fresh hot food.

The place to go for pizza and a nice sandwich and a drink.

Very family friendly.

This is a great family own restaurant that makes the best sandwiches around. It specializes in Philadelphia style cheese steak sandwiches. Its menu consist of around 35 sandwiches (my personal favorite is the chicken cheese steak and mushroom sandwich). If you are looking for a great Philly cheese steak you will be delighted with Amatos!!!!!!

My wife told me about this place. I arrived about 1pm and the line was LONG. I was in shock. This has got to be good stuff. Well I place my order and wait about 10-15 minutes. Wow, a long wait. I ordered 1 cheesteak, side of onion rings and some chili cheese fries. I instantly munch on it. The sourdough bread is amazing. VERY good stuff. The meat is delicious. Lots of peppers, pepperochinos, lettuce, tomato, white american cheese. No doubt its good stuff. Worth $7?Hell yes! Worth the long wait? Yep. Would I return? I'll be there tomorrow, maybe I'll try the pizza steak sandwich or maybe brave another cheesesteak. The cheesesteak smells so good. Amazing.

When you get the craving for a Philly cheesesteak, Amatos is where you should head to. Extremely friendly staff. The food is absolutely the best in the area, and prices are reasonable. They have quite a selection of different types of cheesteaks. Check it out!

Amato's is a small hole in the wall philly cheese steak restaurant that is fashioned a bit like a diner. You can see them cook your food if you sit at the bar or you can choose to sit at the tables they have in the restaurant or outside. A cheese steak shorty will run you about 6 dollars. Double the size for about double the price. Don't let the names fool you. A shorty is more than enough food for a guy. I have a feeling the only people that order the "whole" are feeding a family with one sandwich. Most of the times, my friends and I get the shorty and if you're really hungry or plan on sharing we will get a half. Personally I get a shorty and eat only half of it. They are large. So you certainly get your money's worth.

Everyone there has been really nice to me. They may have the appearance of an attitude, but once you get to talking to them, everyone is sweet. They are certainly concerned if you didn't like your sandwich or if something was wrong with your experience. I'm sure they'd make you a new sandwich if you asked, but I have yet to get a bad one.

We always order a side of frys as well. Again, one side of frys is generally good for a group of three and certainly good for a pair of you. If you have to buy the frys and a drink and cheesesteak, most likely you're going to be paying around 12-13 dollars. But this is a good meal. They use real steak which you can see them slicing up, bake the break on site daily and are always crowded because of their yummy food. This is a highly recommend if you like large and good cheesesteaks. And always get the frys.

The cheesteaks are the BEST. I could barely eat a small one and it was so delicious. I saved it for later. This place is packed at lunch and with good reason. The staff are all adorable and treat you like family. If you haven't tried this you are missing out.
