I was greeted by someone who spoke no english, had dust covered merchandise, and couldn't explain the basic difference in two types of balloons (what do I know about balloons, but then again, i don't run a party shop).I think she was confused or perhaps she was overcome by the smell of her brazilian takeout food that was stinking up the place.. I noticed that all of the plates and napkin type things for kids looked about 10 years old, so obviously they don't move a lot of merchandise. other than a free piece of candy, what I wound up with was a bunch of balloons that wilted the next afternoon, the day of the party, and had to explain to the non-english speaking woman that she overcharged me by nearly 24 dollars..I would bet that the after effects of her takeout food lasted longer than the balloons did..Not a pleasant experience; there must be better places in the Bay area, right??
