Taix French Restaurant

I don't live closed by , but I have been going to taix for the past 20 years . It is not in the best place in town , but I always had great service and the food it is very authentic always came with soup , salad and dessert ,you can't go wrong.

I went here with people from work. There is valet parking so you can get in and out fast. There weren't a lot of options for a vegan. I ordered a salad, and it was OK.

Upon entry you are transported to a by-gone era of classy over-stuffed leather seatting, linen covered tables and well trained waiters. Impressive atmosphere. Wonderful soups - and the serve generous portions. Good food. Traditional. Valet parking.

We have been eating at Taix for about 20 years. It's still inexpensive, but the past few times we ate there, we were disappointed. The portions are a bit smaller and the food is not quite as tasty. Still very reasonably priced, however. Waiters don't seem very patient. Lots of valet parking in their own private lot. No self-parking.

PROS: Inexpensive
CONS: Food not as good as it used to be/Waiters impatient
