I have been a lifeguard at this club for about 4 years. We are not at all connected with the North pool that is about 4 blocks away. The North pool has a swim team (Sacramento Stingrays) and they have much smaller grounds a long with barely any grass area. Saturdays are very busy there and there is no telling if a swim meet will actually be over by the time the pool is supposed to open for members. At the South we have a large grass area including a volleyball net, a tether ball area as well as table tennis. We have a clubhouse along with a kitchen area. We do have morning and night duties and make sure our club is clean and presentable. We have swim lessons for members and non-members both private and group. However, members do get a better price on not only both types of swim lessons but renting out the pool for private parties, before of after hours. I love the atmosphere and people. Hope to see you this summer!

this was the weirdest thing. these 2 clubs are a block away from each other. i'm not really sure why they did this. one membership gets you admittance to both clubs, but i'm not sure what the difference between the two is. this place is kept the same way - not very clean. the staff is a little more attentive, i complained about a few things and the manager actually called back, but overall, i think i used my membership maybe 4 times the whole year and i definitely did not enjoy the times i visited either club.
