First of all, Anson doesn't make sense in saying that he knows them and that they barely passed their courses... he has no proof and it seems like he did it just to lower their ratings. Secondly, his problems are, well, HIS problems. Doesn't matter how many times any dealer or auto-shop fixes his problem; with wear and tear his piece looks like he abuses it more than anything for his 15 year old car. I've been to this LEGIT mechanic for well over 15 years and problems with my car has been fixed meticulously. I remember the first time I had my car fixed there, I had two cars. One my wife drove to their parking lot, and the other to fix. In incognito, I watched what they did and ever since I have trusted them with my sedan and mini-van ever since. Timing belt changes, driver and passenger window fixes, alternator, brakes and brake pads, master cylinder and boosters, driveline, small bumper collisions, alignment.... anything you could think of that would happen to a 20 year old car has been fixed and fixed well. Prices are FAR below what any other dealer would offer, and twice the quality that most "chain" auto-shops could present.
Honest, Top-notch quality, and Low prices
what more could one ask for?
I disagree with Anson here. I have been a customer since the beginning of the opening. All my friends and family visit Fremont United Auto Service. They not only perform an excellent job on fixing all of my cars, but they provide detailed explanation with my questions. I have no idea what is inside a car or how it works, but the people that works at the shop are very detailed at showing me why I have to change a part and how they will fix the car. Alex, the shop owner, would have pictures printout to show me what goes on in the car.
They have excellent service, and the mechanics knows what they are doing. Yes I do admit thier appointments are always book and poeple there are always busy, but that is because everyone loves going there to get their car fixed.
So Anson, how come you didn't go back to the shop to find out if it is Fremont United Auto Service fault. Just because your car had more problems doesn't mean you can blame it on the shop. If you have went back and ask them to double check to see if there was fault in their part, I think they would gladly do so. I know they sometimes make mistakes on thier performs but they always apologized and fix the problem right away. They are always honest with thier customer!!!
This auto repair is actually not as good as everyone in the area claims. I actually know the owner and I personally know that he merely got by in his automotive repair courses. Even though this is a fairly big auto shop with a lot of workers, they take a long time in fixing cars. I brought my '90 Integra in once and it was never really fixed. They just charged me a lot to replace some part but now it broke down again. Wouldn't recommend
