I have to say that Circuit City is my last resort when it comes to an electronics purchase. I find their selection to be poor and their service to be unsatisfactory. Only if I have to will I go there.

I bought my 50" TV from them. I had a smooth transaction.The sale person (Mike) was very nice and polite. he help me very much to decide which TV to get. Plasma or LCD ? I never could of bought it without his help. I just want to thank him. Circuit City also delivered on time and setup every thing in great attitudes.

so i got there looking for a laptop, after i told the stupid sales guy i only have this amount to money.... he tried so hard to up sale...this is like a used car sales people. same tactics as a used car sales dealer. he said, their company install this bunch of trash in the bios... so for todays special they will remove it for only 39 dollars that is usually 90 dollars. i said what! it was a nightmare. i left and gone to best buy. the government need to investigate this company and the tactics they use to get extra money from the customers.

Not a very good selection and seem to have same prices as Good guys or any other store along the same lines. If you can catch a good sale then they are worth the effort.

And ordering on-line so you can go to the store to pick it up saves a lot of headache and shipping costs.

I've never walked out of Circuit City with what I was looking for since the inventory seems low. the service is not really impressive either. Once in a while you can find some good sale items and I've also ordered on-line and picked it up in the store to avoid shipping charges.

It used to be the only game in town but now it competes with Frys and the Good Guys. I would have thought they would have bumped up there stock, and gotten better trained employees, but the opposite seems to be true.
There choices are slim, as well as there product lines, and I find myself knowing more about the products then the sales people
