Medlin's Towing Svc

i use medlins towing on our properties and they have helped us tremendously.and they handled the problems that arose from upset people who got towed.ive read bad reviews about medlins and i asked them to respond to some of the accusations.. and they assured me that the people who have done shady towing are no longer employees of medlins towing. also they did not stand behind them in court. and yes they were convicted ..not medlins towing.... the person who did the bad tows..the one who should have been convicted.. the current staff at medlins are awsome and i feel much better using them now that i too know the laws and regulations regarding removing cars from our properties thank you medlins towing

never had a problem they were nice good service, job was done quickly and they were really professional. I was on the freeway and they kept me out of danger. good work

So what most of the complaints are saying is that the OWNER OF THE COMPLEX had your cars towed... this is not the fault of a towing company... and yes if your car is parked on a street for more then 72 hours it gets towed.. mine did to and i paid the price $350 for towing and storage, the longer it stayed the price went up. Yes, i was mad but it wasn't their fault i couldn't get there sooner. I left my car where it should not of been parked and i paid the price and learned my lesson. and BTW Mark Mathis has NOTHING to do with Medlins, he works for a different crooked towing company. I am familair with a lot of the police officers in the cypress, HB, westminster, Rossmoor area and the other company is the one that is bad, won't mention names. But the tow drivers are only doing what they are called into do and get a sign off from either the owner or the security company. I know this cause I used to work for a towing company in another state. NOW If the DID NOT get a sign off that would make them crooks.

as a closer, Medlins towed my car, they were great to me and I understood it was not their fault only the fault of the dumb me that parked my car for to long

I have not done business with this tow company but in all fairness this is what I see written about every tow company. you park your cars not them so if you get it towed then sham on you they have a job to do and if you cant take the time to read signs same on you. BTW my husband tows cars and it is his job just as you have a job why should his services go unpaid because you can't read or are so sick you can't move your car ask a friend to read it or move it for you. Maybe you learned your lesson if not then sham on you again.

My parents own a shop in the complex of 2520 w lincoln ave. The towing company said they took the car because it was parked in the parking lot after hours. BUT the flaw starts there, our shop was still opened and the cars the THIEVES took were my parent's and another customer of ours. The owner of the complex says he denies calling them but I have a feeling this crooked landlord has been calling towing companies and towing cars at the car owner's expenses and receiving a bit of a kickback reward because the towing companies are paid on commission. So the more cars they get, the more money they receive.I understand that there is a sign saying that cars will be towed away when parked overnight, but a business was open which allows cars to be parked there till that business is closed. The shop closes at 1am but the cars were towed around 10pm to 11pm. I was outraged that our cars were towed, we believed they were stolen but when the cops came they said that our car and the customer's car was held at this towing company. Not only does the owner use this towing company but he uses other towing companies as well, some in Tustin but I believe he used the westminster one so that he was within the 10 mile radius making it valid if it was legally towed.The dispatchers were rude and don't care to help you. They only care about themselves and don't realize that the company they are working for are crooked businessmen and think that us "poor saps" who get their cars practically stolen under their noses are the frauds. It's a complaint a$$holes for the crummy "job" they are pulling. They are the ones stealing our money for their benefit. This towing company is a crooked, conniving, fradulent place of a busines.

Suffice it to say they are crooks. We are currently taking them to small claims court for unlawfully towing our car. The CVC code was wrong, they are more then 10 miles away from where the car got towed and when we called the cops, he was all too familiar with their shady towing antics. Please do not let them get away with this.

They towed my car from my residence for 72 hour parking.I got really sick with the flu and my battery was dead ..It rained really hard for 2 consecutive days and I couldn't go out becuase the sickness and rain to charge it .My association ordered them to move it .Which is stupid when you get towed from your own residence that you pay huge rent in..I called when I noticed the car was towed on a Friday and the attendant told me that it would cost one thing $200 and that on Monday it would be different. He then called me back to milk me for another $50 which I didn't have .I asked for the manager or for him to call and he was away and nlike most managers in this kind of situation could not be paged etc because i was getting talked to like sh*t and in return I returned the language to the person on the phone that i was dealing with.No way to reach the manager to dispute the charges etc..I had a note on my window that explained the situation in the first place and it mysteriously dissappeared.

The tenants in my building have been very upset and they have been towing like crazy and very unAmerican like I have seen them here on holidays cruising around which especially makes me sick and they stop and check out open garages and make the women feel very insecure and unsafe..I looked up what I thought was the managers home number and it was his dads anbd asked for him to be contacted and contact me.HEy this maybe rude but this is my car and i was getting the runaround and charged more and needed to get it out before the weekend which the charges were totalling up fast..He called on Monday and was cussing me out etc..and had this attitude like he was in control and like god controlling the weather and even though i was very polite to his father he got so upset and made police threats etc..Now I might have been mad too but most managers in these cases can be contacted and follow up with a phone call in a timely matter..

Now I have not been able to afford to get my car out and they charge $34 a day and it has been 2 -3 weeks and they are putting a lien on it and I have no one to borrow from and my car gets towed from where I pay very dearly to live and park at..

The assoiciation should take peoples liscence plates and warn them that if not moved by ??it will be moved first..This company is ruthless and sucks....

I was recently towed and am still looking into if they legally had the right. I am closly looking into the matter. I was quoted 3 different prices to pick up my car. And finally came out of pocket for over $300. I found this artical about the company in the local newspaper.

"November 2005: Mark Mathis, 45, and Sean Hyepock, 36, sentenced to probation and 60 days in jail for illegally towing cars in Huntington Beach, Westminster, Cypress and Anaheim. Mathis, a driver for Medlins Towing in Westminster, removed cars from parking lots without the property owners' permission."

"DETAILS: The police department received information about complaints of vehicles being towed from Jaxs Bicycles at 401 Main Street. During the investigation it was determined that
Diaz was calling the police department and obtaining Private Property Impound authorization posing as an agent for the property at 401 Main Street. Her business is located at 419 Main
Street #B and has no relationship with the property at 401 Main Street. She was then calling Medlins Towing in Westminster to tow the vehicles away under the illegally obtained PPI authorization. Medlins Towing, who pays their tow drivers on a commission, would tow and hold the vehicles until the owners would pay the towing fees.

Today, members of the Huntington Beach Police Departments Directed Enforcement Team served an arrest warrant on Diaz for auto theft. In addition, search warrants were served at
Numbers Total, 419 Main Street #B, Huntington Beach and at Medlins Towing, 13645 Milton Avenue, Westminster. Diaz was arrested near her residence and booked with a $25,000 bail.
A total of 23 victims have been identified so far. The police department is requesting anyone with additional information regarding this incident or you feel you may be an additional victim,

When my car broke down on Westminster and Edward, I called Medlins Towing. The tow person came to my rescue and tows me to the nearest auto repair place. He was sure fast and cheap. He arrived to my distress in like 10 minutes. He is very friendly and very nice. He only charged me $20 for the trip.
