I just ordered flowers for my step daughter for Mother's Day. They were delivered a day later than promised (but not the biggest deal). My daughter laughed because the delivery person told her they were from me when he handed them to her

A big thank you goes out to the florist that created the beautiful flower arrangement we sent to honor a beloved friend and teacher at her funeral. It made a very sad day a very special day for her family. Thanks again!!

Well let me just start by saying Mom""s Wholesale Florist will always be the florist I go to for any flower arrangements that I need, I used their services for my wedding, and i've also referred them to many of my family and friends all because they deliver the best. Don't underestimate this florist shop they work hard on giving you what you want and pay for and always add a lil extra just for comfort. Fresh flowers, a comfortable enviroment, outstanding employees, I mean what more would you want when it comes to your big event or just simple arrangements. I love how creative and funky the owner gets when designing her work you can see she really wants the best for her customers and I doubt that I will ever use another florist for anything in the future. Mom's Wholesale Florist is where you need to direct your attention to whether its for your wedding, a funeral at home everyday arrangements, proms, just because etc. you name it and I gurantee you wont be dissatisfied.

It's a gample if you choose to use these people for your special day.\r\nI have personally witnessed the owners acting highly unprofessional in terms of using bad language, smoking in the store itself and smoking as you are walking into the store. The owners appear to be on drugs, they deflect their horrible behavior unto customers and if you don't sign the contract right away they get very anger and vulgar!\r\nI have read many reviews about this shop and when you have a lot of people saying the same things, they can't all be wrong or making this stuff up. They are honest accounts, but hey, if you feel like gambling with your special day, then be my guest! Fortunately for us, we chose to run out of there as fast as we could!\r\nKarma get's everyone in the end!!!\r\n\r\nI discovered that there are many great choices in the lockeford, Lodi, stockton area.....just google search wholesale flowers in the search menue and real wholesale shops will appear not fake retail ones!\r\nHope this helps, afterall we would never want some one else to experience such horrible people!

My experience with Mom's was terrific! I flew into the area for my father's funeral. The lady that helped me was wonderful, extremely helpful, showing the different flowers that could be used, and made some helpful suggestions. The red, white and blue heart shaped wreath was more beautiful than expected! They really had just one day advance order, and it was delivered to the chapel on time. Thank you! I will definitely use your services again.

Never Ever go to these people. My wedding was on May 29, 2011, and these people charged me $200 for each alter they sold me, and $150 dollars for my bridal bouquet. The alter did not have a single rose, eventhough I paid for 40 on each alter, and it was mostly green and cheap pink flower, for my bouquet I paid for 30 roses I only got 16. They charge so so much, and they do a crapy job, they were 1 hour late on the delivery, The owner Kristin is so rude and imploite. The day after wedding I called her to explain to her about what happened to my stuff, and she told me F*** you, and F*** your family, very very disapointing, my husband and I spend $1800 on the flower at their store, and that how we got treated.\nI will never forgive her for what she did to us.

I had gone to Mom's back in early 2010, because the Bridal Expo 2010 had some good reviews, and they had nice arrangements and pictures. \r\nI booked my wedding with them then... without knowledge how downhill it was going to be. Now I am THOROUGHLY upset, and wished I had gone somewhere else.\r\n\r\nMy wedding is in 2 weeks from Saturday. \r\n\r\nI had emailed them about 2-3 months ago (to their info email address). Never heard back from them.\r\n\r\nDuring my final flower appointment, I was discouraged that I was picking my flowers from their internet searches. Then during conversation, I had brought up that I had emailed them several months ago with questions, and was completely disgusted when the girl (the owner), stood up and lifted her shirt up in my face and pulled the front of her pants down (a little too low for my taste), my fiances face and the two young children who were in the room with us. She was VERY rude, and said ""This is why you didn't get an answer to your email""...\r\nI was HORRIFIED!!!\r\n\r\nTHEN they proceed to tell us we need to buy all these coolers and cups and ice... which were not explained to us a year ago, so we didn't budget for it then (when we asked them if we needed to do anything). So it's an extra cost out of our pocket, plus buying things (like coolers) that we don't need!!!!\r\n\r\nAs I said... my wedding is in 2 weeks. I am VERY nervous about the health of the flowers, and the kind of customer service we're going to get.

We have used Mom's for many family occaions and have yet to be let down. I have used them for our private wedding Ceremony and our big family reception a few months later, a couple of funerals(unfortunately) a 40th wedding anniversay party, several proms and a few other times for flowers for my wife. I reccommend them to all of my friends. \r\n\r\nChristina has always taken time to listen to my needs and make suggestions to help hit our bugetary number. She has worked with budgets in the $100's to the $1,000's and they make every one truly something to envy.\r\n \r\nIt is a little hole in the wall and offers great prices. \r\nMake sure you come in on a Friday evening when they have about 15 weddings worth of flowers prepped for the next day, you can really see the quality and love they put into thier craft.\r\n \r\nA+, We were recommended to Mom's by A Night to Remember DJ Service.

As a Bride to be on a very limited budget, who is trying to do all the flowers on my own, with not a lick of natural talent for arranging, I was so excited to find this place. This is a family run business and everyone was extremely helpful. My appointment was with Christina. I really had a lot of anxiety and stress, and was completely indecisive on what I wanted. Christina was very patient and helped me with focusing and picking the flowers that would work best for my whole wedding party and cake by listening and showing me examples (pictures) of what certain flowers would look like together. Although their shop was super busy, she never once made me feel rushed and took her time with me. Christina did an amazing job at listening to what I was saying and went out of her way to get me the lowest price. In the end I was able to get my flowers for a fraction of the cost AND this is the only shop I have ran across that is willing to teach you how to make your own Bouquets, Boutonnieres, and Corsages FREE OF CHARGE. I left there feeling completely confident that we will be able to pull this off. I cannot say enough great things about this place and my experience. Anyone who is trying to save money and not break the bank on their wedding should stop by here. Although my wedding is going to be small (50 people) my flowers only cost $145 whereas other florists were charging a minimum of $350 for the very same thing. The folks here are very down to earth, not stuffy or pretentious in any way. Pretty amazing and I would recommend them to anyone at anytime.

I should have went with my gut feeling when I went to Mom's Flowers. The worker's there were pushy and rude. I shouldn't have went with my gut and left before putting down payment. The worker's are rude and try to make you feel in superior. \n\nAfter booking them for my wedding (Which consisted of an outdoor reception, no flowers needed for the ceremony, just 3 bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, and lilies for 10 tables and cost $800!) I heard from a woman at work that she used Mom's flowers and half of them were dead the day of her wedding. I read reviews online and got the same feedback so I went back to Mom's flowers with my concern. This time they were nice as could be. The insured me that my flowers would be just fine.\n\nThe day of my wedding came, and yes the flowers were alive and the centerpieces looked great, but the boutonnieres and bouquets were NOT what I had been promised. I could not believe how skimpy they were for the price I paid. I really felt ripped off.\n\nTwo months later a friend of mine got married. She like the design on my bouquet (different from my skimpy bridesmaid ones, but still not the four feet they promised... more like 1 foot.....) so she got just her bouquet from Mom's. Well, she should have voiced concern like I did, because when she picked up her bouquet, half of the roses were dead. She had to pick them out and replace them with flowers she bought separately.\n\nI honestly believe that if I had not gone in and voiced my concern about getting dead flowers, I would have gotten dead flowers. I really would discourage anyone from getting wedding flowers done here. If you do not want to stress over having dead wedding flowers, please choose a different florist.\n\nAnd in response to the post by JAYDEE.... I don't agree that the negative posts regarding Mom's are all by Bridezillas..... I was far from being a 'princess bride'. Seriously.. how many bridges choose to have a $3k wedding? Yep, no bridezilla here, just a bride who got gipped on flowers. I guess JAYDEE doesn't realize how lucky she got. I really believe she is one in few that were happy with their experience at Mom's.

Short story ?? I can??t say it enough: DON??T GO HERE!!!!! I know it is tempting because they appear to be cheap and even though you read all the bad reviews you think ??well, this won??t happen to me?, but it will! You are better off buying flowers from Costco, Safeway, or Trader Joes then going to Mom??s, and it honestly would be cheaper too.

Long story - My friend recently got married and we ordered flowers from Mom's so we could arrange them ourselves. We ordered the flowers more than a month in advance of the wedding day and made arrangements for me to pick them up at noon. When I arrived to pick up the flowers they obviously weren't ready, and I had to wait because they had to "clean" the flowers. They were trying to be sly about it but what they were really doing was pulling rotten petals off of the roses. I know it is normal to remove the outer petals from roses, but these roses were seriously rotten! When I got them home and examined them I found the roses were all rotten at the base and the stems were brown and rotten. I ended up not being able to use 1 of the 2 bunches of roses because the petals either fell off or turned brown and wilted. Also, at the time of order they promised certain things that didn't occur. One of the bunches that I ordered contained less stems than it was supposed to, and I had to ask to make sure to get the number promised. For another bunch of flowers, we were told it contained 25 stems, but when I picked it up they told me that a bunch only contains 10 stems, so I had to pay extra for the remaining 15 stems. Finally, another item we ordered was 1 bunch of blue hydrangeas. I remember specifically talking to the lady during the ordering process and ordering naturally light blue hydrangeas for the bride??s bouquet. What they actually gave me were white hydrangeas spray-painted blue!! They looked tacky and cheap, and the paint smelled horrible. And within 2 hours of getting them home, 2 of the 5 flowers totally died and were unusable, despite the fact that I immediately cut the stems off and put them in water as soon as I got home.

I ended up spending another 3 hours running to various stores and spent $50 more dollars to find replacement flowers for the rotten, dying, and tacky spray painted ones I couldn??t use. Thank goodness that Trader Joe??s had blue hydrangeas or I don??t know what I would have done. Believe me, don??t use Mom??s!

I feel as though I should add my two-cents; well more like a few dollars and some giggles. I've read the ""bitter"" reviews, and consider them hilarious and entertaining. With an inability to spell or write in full, complete sentences, and a lack of proper punctuation, I find these hostile reviews nothing more than spoiled women with dreams of unachievable grandeur. \n\nI ask that you remember what this day resembles... If your ""Big Day"" is represented solely on flowers I'm not sure this is the right venue for your venting diatribe about wilted flower arrangements. Consider what a wedding is really about. You have agreed to announce your love for another person in front of people that you love and care about. If your friends and family judge your love based on your flowers, I'd personally seek out new friends. \n\nMy honest opinion of Mom's Wholesale... FABULOUS!!\n\nMy fiance and I, started the hunt for flowers in November. Our initial observation was that this vendor was a no-nonsense easy-going group of locals that create pieces of a wedding with such a careful and critical eye that I am supremely impressed by the talents and care at Mom's Wholesale. We didn't go in with pictures, but a flower that we both agreed on and colors that we decided to use in the wedding. We left with color photos of samples, and a clear vision of what they'll look like. \n\nOn our final appointment, today, we confirmed quantity and design. We left, paying the remainder of our balance and with full trust in Christina and her staff. We are getting married in April, here in Sacramento, and no, I'm not having them delivered as I will have so many friends and family itching to help that this will give me at least 30 minutes of peace... I hope! =) I will post on the review once the flowers have been pinned and carried, photographed and admired, and lastly, put away for the evening. So to all you NEW and EXCITED brides, keep your head about you, be reasonable and real and Mom's will take great care of you... If you act spoiled and entitled, you will be sadly disappointed, as nothing will be ""perfect"" enough for you, Princess. \n\n

Pros: EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM

.

They are so helpful and very knowledgable. They have the best prices around. I got all my flowers for my wedding for under $600 when I was quoted aroung $1100 everywhere else. Everyone that works they was so nice and they even go above and beyond what I expected. They always have smile on their face which makes it real nice. I would reccommed EVERYONE to make sure you check Mom's out.

Pros: Pricing, Customer Service

.

I only went to a consultation at the shop. They were friendly and nice, but play games with the prices. They way over estimated the flower's I wanted and then the owner's daughter pretended to give me better deal. I went to lunch to think about it and they tried lowering the price again. I just do not trust them to not rip you off.

My husband and I were married on May 23,2009 and Mom's Wholesale Florist did the flowers for my wedding. I just want to say that you did a FABULOUS job. The picture that I brought in for the design was nothing in comparison to the final product. The flowers were absolutely wonderful, very fresh, smelled good and were reasonably priced The design, the colors for the centerpieces were perfect. and they were very good sized and my guests were very impressed. The facility where we got married asked if they could keep them for the next venue and I agreed (afterall, what was I going to do with 10 centerpieces?). The entire order was reasonably priced and fit well within out budget. I will be using your business in the future for all my special occasion floral needs. Thanks again!

This place is amazing. I went there when i was planning my wedding and they are so helpful. I decided to make my own boquets and they showed me exactly how to do it, they gave me ribbon for them. Also for the corsages and booteners they made half of it for me at the store. They are unexpensive and they have the prettiest flowers.

Mom's Wholsale is THE BEST place to get wholesale flowers in the area. I have done the flowers for 5 weddings and gotten all of my flowers through them. All of my brides have been extremley happy with the customer service there becuase I take them with me to the consultations. The ladies at Mom's have always been helpful with everything I have needed. All of my flowers that I have ordered have been PERFECT, the right color, healthy, beautiful, etc. The one time that they were not able to give me the flower that I had ordered (lizzianthus) They called beforehand and let me know that they weren't blooming and proceded to replace them wtih an equally beautiful flower (Sweet peas) that were the same color and more bunches then I had ordered. They have always been great to me. Like i said i am a free lance Wedding floral coordinator and I wouldn't go anywhere else but Mom's!!!!

wow where to start? I was offered a *bridal show discount* and all the jazz like other people and had to choose right then and there if they were going to do by wedding or not. \r\n\r\nOn the day of my wedding I had to get the flowers myself because they wouldn't be delived to the site 8 miles away... thank god I did! Everything was wrong. My bridal boquet was supposed to be all white roses with a COUPLE light pink lilies in it. When I got to see it it was filled with huge bight pink lilles, PURPLE flowers, & white filler flowers. They said they ran out of roses... ????? I paid for roses!! wow words cannot describe how my heart sank.\r\n\r\nmy centerpiece flowers were supposed to be a spring variety of light & med pink/white seasonal flowers and they had tubs of hot pink carnations for me? wow my mom had a fit! it was just awful! Once again some kinda budget shortage?? \r\nThey had some much better leftover flowers that they gave me instead for the centerpieces - but my boquets were still def. not what I wanted. \r\nIt was a disaster. \r\nShould you choose to use them MAKE SURE to document and have actual copies of what the items are to look like@!@ Have them sign and guarantee it! I was given sample books of there work and chose specific things that I liked, the results were bad... they made an attempt to fix some things which was nice but ya know... when you pay a lot of money for something and chose it out of one of ---- there books\r\n

girls, have you ever noticed that most people only write bad reviews. i was showing my 8th friend there web site and seen some crazy stuff written about them here. well, they have done all my freinds weddings and my own.O.M.G. thats no wonder they won BEST FLORIST OF 2008. if every one they did weddings for wrote a review they would be a twenty star florist. i cant imagine going anywhere else. and the people who got scammed must be talking about somewhere else because they don't play games. i should know, ive been the bridesmaid to all seven weddings plus my own. you have to go there. you wont regret it.

My mom got married end of September 08. I had been told this was a wonderful place with great product for people on a budget. WRONG! The customer service was good I will admit that. However, upon pick up of the flowers my sister, my mom and I just looked at each other like this is this is? There was a total lack of flowers in the arrangements. The bridemaid's bouquets and the bride's bouquet looked totally shabby with hardly any flowers. The bridesmaids bouquets looked cheap and had hadrly any flowers to them. The ribbons where the wrong colors. We requested 3 colors of ribbions to be intertwined on the bouquets (hand ties) they only used 1 color on the bouquets. The other color (brown) was used only on the boutineers. What happened to the cream color we requested...we dunno. The boutineers and crassages (sp) were fine and did last. (We put those in the fridge, so that might be why.) They told us the flowers would last up to 3 days packed in coolers. More than once they said this! No. We got the flowers the day before the wedding, in the late afternoon. The next morning the stargazers (the main flowers used) were DEAD! Our center piece arrangement was also DEAD! We had to improvise and take the flowers that were still alive from the centerpiece ( not made of star gazers) and create totally new arragements in less than 2 hours! Plus, still get ready for the wedding. We didn't have a centerpiece sence we had to use the flowers for the bouquets. When we contacted them for some sort of remeburstment and to complain, they brushed us off and refused pictures of the dead flowers via email. My mom lives in Woodland so this would have been a lot easier. They wanted us to bring the pictures in to the store and told us they would call us back. They never did...and probably won't. Go to safeway, costco, or even sam's club (if you're on a budget) and make them yourself. You will end up much happier! Try worthless, not wholesale. Will not ever use again or reffer biz 2.

They want your flowers to be as great as you want them to be. They do everything they can to make your experience worthwhile. They are so helpful when it came to me and budget for my wedding. We only had a limited amount to work with and they were more than willing to help! I'm definitely going back!!

Bridal Bouquet: My daughter asked for bright, rainbow gerberas (listing yellow, orange, coral, purple) /red roses; they used only red roses/bright orange gerberas.\r\nBoutonnieres: Two fell apart , the groom?s was fully open before the ceremony was done.\r\nJr. Headpieces: My daughter stressed rainbow/MULTI-color. The girls wore coral/ turquoise. Both headpieces were the same, single color - lt orange, flowers fell off before the ceremony, the ribbons were the wrong colors.\r\nBridesmaid: One had a bad flower. \r\nCorsages: We ordered for wrists; they made pin-on.\r\nMy daughter was told to bring photos of everyone in wedding garb. At the final appt. the lady looked at them, but refused to keep them. I don?t know if she relied on her memory or her notes, but ALL the ribbons were the wrong colors.\r\nThe staff working the day we picked up the flowers was apologetic and did their best to correct the errors.\r\nWe provided the appropriate coolers/ice. The flowers looked fine when we picked them up, were packed by the florist, stored per the instructions, and the ice chests not opened until an hour before the wedding.\r\nMy daughter called to request a partial refund. They said she would have to bring in photos showing the flowers that were missing/damaged. Since that would be an undue burden; they agreed she could send the photos via e-mail. There were only a few photos to show the loss ? the bouquet was intentionally held in a way to hide the sad/droopy flower, there were no close-up shots of the headpieces, etc.\r\nShe has emailed four times ? with no response.\r\nEven though picking up the flowers was sort of a pain, it did give us the chance to see them and get most of the problems corrected. A family friend made beautiful arrangements for the ceremony - using retail flowers from her local Safeway - I would not describe this shop was anywhere near being a ""wholesale"" florist.\r\n

We had two very nice meetings with ""daughter"" to discuss the flowers we wanted for a large outdoor wedding. On Friday, May 16 the flowers were ""delivered""-they were dumped outside in the heat and left there. The contract called for set up of the gazebo and that never happened. Relatives of the bride stood on chairs and fastened the gazebo flowers together. All the flowers were wilty and not as described in the contract. Some of the pieces were missing altogether! Pieces fell off of a heart wreath onto the floor! The groomsmens boutaneires were tiny. I made the mistake of paying in advance so I had no recourse. Please do not give these people your business. When called from the site about the mistakes in the flower order and the condition of the flowers, the person we talked to was very rude and told us to get a golf cart and do it ourselves! I discussed it with someone when I returned the vases and they were very rude and unprofessional.

To the user's that have had a bad experience at Mom's Wholsale Florist. I empathize with you. I was treated HORRIBLY there too. I'm glad that you wrote a review. It's because of people like you, and myself, that other's can avoid the drama during the important times in their lives.

Brides, Do you want a fun day of looking at arragements, seeing pretty flowers and talking with wonderful people in a warm environment?

Well then, DO NOT GO TO MOM'S WHOLESALE FLORIST.

My mom and I arrived on time to our appointment, magazine and ideas in hand. I was so excited, everything was coming together for the wedding and the flowers were next. We were greeted by a nice lady. Then the nightmare began. We were sent to a back room where a (I would say 8-10 yr old) boy was playing video games. We had to step over his controler cord to get to our seats. The daughter of the owners met with us. I showed her what I liked, and the kinds of colors I wanted, ect. We were interruped when another co-worker came in for the daughter's chinese food order and to find out what they were doing that night. She started calculating our price. The first price was $1400 +, but since we had seen them at the Cal Expo Bridal Show, we got a discount. That new price was $925.

We explained that my grandparents were paying for the flowers as a wedding gift, and that my grandma had been a florist but was just too sick to make the arrangements and such, but that we would have to talk it over with her. She ended up passing away before the wedding and was a very tragic loss to us.

The daughter told me this, "We need to book you today, we do 15 weddings a weekend and if you don't book today, we won't have your date open." The she said the thing that tipped me off, "Plus, we really don't need your business anyway."

I was mortified. How rude! I'm a first time bride and so excited about my wedding and this is how I got treated?? Ordering your lunch when I'm there and then you don't even really need my business. WOW.

I told her that we'd take the chance of them not having the space for us and we'd get back to them. Two days later, the lady that was taking the lunch order, called me back and told me that the owners wanted to see me and discuss my price. They felt it was too high. I told her that we wouldn't be needing their service, but thank you anyway.

I hope that this helps all you brides out there, whether this is your first time getting married or not. No bride should have to be treated like I was.

There are a couple of bad reviews on city search for this vendor, but the service that I received was great. I went in knowing my colors, and what arragements I wanted, and they gave me an album with those like colors of arragements they had already done. I picked from those pictures, things that I liked to combine them into my personal bouquet. I had them put together my bouquet, my husbands boutonniere, and a spray for our arbor. I chose which flowers I wanted for everything but the spray. They told me they would put together one with the same colors, but chose flowers that were inexpensive. Since we had a very large bridal party, I ordered bulk roses to make the bridesmaids bouquets, the groomsmen's boutonnieres, and small bouquets for the mothers and grandmothers. You will be required to bring your own ice chests to pick up your flowers on your day, but it's not a big hassle and they tell you in your contract what exactly you will need to transport and care for your flowers. The staff I worked with were all very nice and informative, and they allowed me to pay in small incraments over the months leading up to my wedding. My mother in law picked up the flowers for me and drove them two and a half hours to where we were getting married, and they were beautiful. The business site itself is not very impressive, but the quality of service and work that I got there was wonderful. All of what I purchased from them was under $800.00. For the quality and quanitiy of flowers I ordered, that was an amazing deal. I highly recommend them.

Pros: Inexpensive, great quality

Cons: No delivery

I will keep it short and simple, they provide nearly no flowers for a large sum of money. My $100/each center pieces included 2 roses and about 3 fern leaves each!!! They will tell you "" we are half the price of the other florists"" do not be fooled, they were very unproffessional and they will not get you the flowers you want, they will instead get you whatever is the cheapest!!! They even made us bring ice chests and cups so that they could store the flowers prior to our wedding. I would never ever recommend these people to anyone, they will just rip you off!!!

I had a friend tell me to go to Moms wholesale florist for my wedding flowers since I was on a budget. I met with ""mom"" she was nice and I got a good feeling about her, even though the place is not nice, at all. I did not book that day, I felt I was not given the details on what I would actually get. I was given a price but no details on how many flowers would be in my bouqet, what type of greenery ect. So I left so I could figure out excactly what I wanted and then return when I figurd it out. The next time I visited the daughter helped me, cannot remeber her name but boy was she RUDE!!!! I almost burst in to tears because she was soooo mean to me. I came intending on finding out details on what I would be getting before I forked over 50% of the total cost. I brought a book with flowers I liked and a magazine page I had ripped out of a bouquet I liked. I had read that this is a good idea when you meet with the florist. The lady said I was giving her bad ""mojo"" with my book and magazine page, ""Where was that thing published anyway"" she said. I was to picky and I should go to Granite Bay and get my flowers done there. She was so rude in her delivery, I had to figh back tears! Imagine, a bride being picky about her flowers on the biggest day of a womans life. All I asked for was roses, a certain varitey I had seen and some green filler I liked. I was not aking for some exotic species grown in some third world country, these are roses I have seen at Safeway. Needles to say, had she kindly told me I'm sorry but we don't have that and I would hate to disappoint you on your big day, but here are some other opitons we can offer, that would have been great. She basically told me she did not want my business and the type of brides she works with are the type who say, I like the color pink. Then they fork over 50% and what they get is what they get. I was very upset but lucky ended up booking with a far nicer florist (visual impact design) for about the same price.
