The place might look a bit run down, but it has excellent burgers. They offer a few things that you don't find at most other places, such as the ostrich burger. The service is friendly too, and is a family owned and run business. If you are looking for a tasty burger, go here.

I've been going here since I was a wee lad years and years ago. They've been there since I can remember, and when I want a real burger it's the only place I'll go and recommend to friends. If you want a restaurant atmosphere it's not the place for you. If you want a good homemade burger it is.

I don't know when the last time I have had a better burger. Of all the times I have been there, my hunger was satisfied.
I recommend their Homemade (1/3lb) burger with everything. The combination of a thick patty with soft French buns, lettuce tomatoes, mayo, pickles, and onions.

When I was there, I noticed the Ostrich Burger was a pretty good seller. I was able to try it with my own make up with grilled onions mushrooms and American Cheese.

The place is not much to see, but sure is a great place to eat. I visit the place every time I am in the area.

The service is fair, the workers are friendly on a good day, but expect too much. They are serious and efficient getting your order out. Be there for the food, not smiley faces.

The value of the burgers are fair, and decent size. They have a fair amount of food choices. It's worth the money to buy food there.

It's a hidden burger joint in Sacramento that everyone should try!!!

Cookies is not much to look at, but neat because they sell Ostrich burgers there, which were pretty tasty. On my fourth or fifth time going there, I got a case of food poisoning - violently throwing up for six hours or so. Not fun. It took me a while to go back, but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because it could have just been a fluke or a bad supplier, or even possibly something else I ate somewhere else, and those ostrich burgers were so darn tasty. I went back a month later and ordered the same thing, and yep, you guessed it, food poisoning again. I've only had food poisoning three times in my life, and this place caused of two of them. No thanks.
