This place sucks!!! Don't move here!! I'm locked into a year lease and I have to post an add on craigslist to find someone to rent it.... Problem is I HAVE NOTHING NICE TO POST IN THE AD. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It's over priced and not worth what I pay. I regret ever moving here!!!!

The sign out front claims these are luxury apartments, but the only thing "luxurious" about them is how much they overcharge for them. The grounds are immaculate, but you'll soon realize the only reason they spend so much time and money on the grounds is to lure new tenants in. The actual apartments are literally falling apart. The staircases are warped and cracked and some genious there decided to put hideous copper tops on all the posts which began tarnishing literally overnight and are now horribly discolored and covered with bird poop. The AC units are ancient and literally can't keep your apartment cool during the summer months and will run all day long. Meanwhile you'll be spending $200+ on electric bills during the summer months (mind you this is for an ~800 sq. ft. 1 bedroom apartment). We complained about our electric bill 2 weeks after moving in, and we complained several more times after that during the 3 years we lived there. We were promised a new AC but it never happened. The walls are paper thin, so you'll get to enjoy waking up the roar of lawn mowers, edgers, chainsaws, and blowers every morning as they go all out on trying to lure in new tenants with their grounds. Their parking lot is dark and unprotected. The car behind mine got broken into so I went in to the leasing office to complain and asked them what they were going to do to prevent that from happening again. They claimed it was the owner's fault for leaving a GPS system in their car. Just a few months later, sure enough, my car got broken into. I was furious, but they just shrugged me off as they did with our electric bill. When we finally tried to escape they never showed up for our scheduled walkthrough, and didn't bother to call us. We received only $258 back from the $1050 we paid in security deposits. They charged us $578 for new carpeting for the next tenant but they refused to show us any proof that the carpet was damaged. If you search Google, you'll find out it is common practice for Wimbledon Glen and Arnel (the management company) to rip off tenants when they move out. Read more here:

Noise is coming from every possible source: the rumble of the freeway and street traffic, helicopter and airplanes flying overhead until all hours, gardening staff is always here using some noisy machine to get their job done (the two weeks of tree-trimming with chainsaws is my favorite), three time a week for "debris" blowers, and disrespectful, longtime residents who think they own the place and don't follow the rules stipulated in the lease, Oh and the rules are not enforced by whoever is managing at the time, which changes every two months. After all of that, the only positive about the Arnel Management Companies property, Wimbledon Glen, is the maintenance staff who fix the things that break within your apartment. They are great! Otherwise this place is a nightmare.

I loved living here for awhile because I had a fireplace!! I was also able to use my own washer and dryer in my apt. So, this saved me time from going to the laundromat. I recommend Wimbledon Glen because the management is nice and it's a very clean place to live. Plus you have easy access to the 405 freeway!
