If I could give 0 starts I would! WARNING: THE OWNER IS NASTY AND RUDE AND THE PLACE IS NEGLIGENT. They forced to me to leave my key b/c lot was full even though I pre-paid a deposit to assure me a spot to self park. Then attendant left lights on and my battery died. We (with a toddler) returned late to a dead battery car. After 30 min the shuttle jumped my car, but it didn't last. We had to call roadside assistance and get a new battery (on my new car). This is after they charged me an additional $122 to get my car out. I called owner (a terribly rude woman named Manaz) who yelled at me over the phone, said it was not their fault and something could have been wrong with my car before I left it there (really, the battery was dead before your guy drove it into a parking space!?) and said they did jump my car which they didn't have to do. She screamed at me over the phone, would not let me speak, and hung up on me. She then texted and offered to refund my $14 deposit only and to give me 2 free days on my next parking stay (like I would ever park there again!). DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AND SPREAD THE WORD. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company and warning everyone I can.

I've been using Sunrise for years. One of the cheapest parking lot facilities and also one of the closest. No frills, no high prices and no extensive bookeeping by attendants. Park, lock and go.

I have the same experience as Ryan. On holiday from Europe on July 27, 2009 I parked my car around 8:45 PM at the Sunrise Lax Parking. I drove in with my GPS system on the windscreen. The man who was sitting at the parking saw this. I parked the car, locked the doors and gave him the key. I left the GPS system in the glove box of the car.
The next morning when I picked up my car, the GPS system was not there anymore. There were no broken windows. So someone had stolen my GPS out of the car with the use of the car key. I am pretty sure that it is stolen by one of the lot attendants, because he had the key, and knew that the GPS was in the car. The next morning I spoke with the boss. He denied that this could happen in his lot. This would be the first time he said.

I also found this agenda of the LA police on the web:
LOS ANGELES POLICE COMMISSION POLICE PERMIT REVIEW PANEL REGULAR MEETING AGENDA BOARD ACTION ON PERMITS PURSUANT TO LAMC SECTION 103.35 AND
22.04.1 date: July 9 2009 CONTINUED FROM MAY 20, 2009
Discussion and consideration of the recommendation by the Commanding Officer,
Commission Investigation Division to REVOKE Auto Park police permit No. 996401,
assigned to Sunrise LAX Parking Corporation, DBA Sunrise LAX Parking.

I hope they will revoke the permit.

If you are looking for a convenient place close to the Airport to park this is the lot for you. It is three minutes from the airport with a shutting running all the time. The daily price is low for the area. The people who run it are friendly and instruct you on what to do for your pickup once you arrive back into the city. I use this company every time.

I have been using this parking lot near LAX for a couple years. They provide low cost, good service and a convenient location. They are significantly less expensive than other lots that are nearby.
