I'm the maid of honor for my sister who just recently got engaged. I went with her fiance to buy her engagement ring at Inta Gems and it was magnificent! Not only were the staff friendly, but they gave us a step by step educational breakdown of the four Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat weight). The staff was super friendly. They even gave out tasty candy treats and water! And my sister's fiance had a set budget, so they were able to work within his budget. Here's how the process works:

1. They started off showing us the various loose certified diamonds. All of their loose stones were high-quality. We just told them the shape, carat weight, and budget. They pulled out a few diamonds and gave us a one by one breakdown of each one. We also got to see firsthand what a diamond looks like under magnification to view the clarity and color. One of the gemologists, Steve, explained that it was extremely important to make sure you get a certified diamond because it lists all the imformation of the diamond.

2. Next, after we chose the perfect diamond, we looked through the settings. There was an enormous selection of engagement settings! They had traditional solitaires, three stone rings, and other antique-looking rings.

3. Last, after choosing the proper diamond and ring setting, the process to make a complete ring only took an hour and a half! They also resized the ring.

All in all, the experience was very educational. They taught me and my sister's fiance the fundamentals of diamonds, metal types for rings, etc. My sister's ring was a GIA certified, D color, and SI2 clarity round brilliant cut diamond weighing 1.25 ct. She had it set in a platinum setting with small round and princess diamonds on the sides. Accompanied with the ring and GIA certificate was an appraisal signed by their company's gemologist, Steve. He explained that the appraisal should be used for insurance purposes. The end result was terrific! I love her ring! It sparkles at every angle! And she is extremely ecstatic about it. Inta Gems is a great find within Los Angeles' Jewelry District. Not only did they have high quality jewelry, but their prices were a lot lower than jewelry stores at the mall. My sister's fiance and I looked at jewelry retail stores like Robbins Brothers, Zales, and Kay Jewelers, but I felt the diamonds and engagment rings at Inta Gems were of better quality. It didn't look mass-produced.

I'm sure everyone else who goes to Inta Gems will have a great experience too. Even if you don't buy anything right away, you'll leave with a head full of knowledge.

I was looking to buy an engagement ring for my fiance and I had no idea where to start. INTA GEMS is the best place to buy an engagement ring, or any fine piece of jewelery for you or your loved one. They have the highest quality of jewelry for the best price around. A friend of mine had bought his engagement ring there and he told me I had to go there and I will definitely get the best ring for the best price. Steve helped me with all my needs. He was great, so accommodating and knowledgeable. I told him what little I knew, he asked me what my budget was, what my fiance to be was like, and how big her hand was. Steve spent over an hour and half explaining everything there was to know about rings. When all was said and done, I picked out the perfect engagement ring. Steve was a total expert and showed real concern for me.

Steve and INTA GEMS were extremely accommodating and helpful. When it was time to give my fiance the ring, it happened to be the wrong size, but at no fault of INTA GEMS. My fiance told me the wrong size. This was not even a problem. Steve worked with me and was very helpful giving me many options. He even set my mind at ease giving me a guarantee on the ring, that if the ring was re-sized and anything happened he would take care of it. That is a guarantee that you will not get from all jewelers.

To this day we receive so many compliments about the ring on it's beauty and style. The first thing people say when they see it is, "wow, that is a really beautiful ring, it really sparkles".

I highly recommend everyone to go to INTA GEMS, you will get 1) the highest quality, 2) professional, friendly, and accommodating service, 3) guarantee on merchandise, and 4) the best price. I feel safe and can trust INTA GEMS with all my needs knowing everything I get will be quality. They are willing to work with you and your budget. I searched everywhere but couldn't find the perfect place to buy a ring. Places were either too pricey, or made me feel uncomfortable.

So I called a trusted colleague who got engaged a year before me and he raved about how he was in the same predicament as me until he found INTA Gems.

This place is amazing. It's a diamond district wholesaler, so you know you're getting an unbeatable price. But the real value is the staff. As soon as you walk into INTA Gems, you'll know it's head and shoulders above the rest of the shops in the diamond district. The family has been in the business for years. They are helpful and genuinely friendly from the minute you walk in. And most importantly, you will trust them.

Once you step into INTA Gems, you'll be relieved that you did. The whole family is great. We happened to work with Steve Pheng and I give him an A++!

I live in Santa Clarita, CA and called INTA Gems to make an appointment the day before I actually drove out there. I told them what I was looking for in a loose diamond. When I got there the next day, they already had a selection of diamonds set aside for me to look at. My now fiancee and I fell in love a beautiful diamond and paid thousands less (about half price) for it than if we would have purchased it at our local mall. We already had the setting so INTA Gems set the diamond while we waited, it looked perfect. They also included an appraisal of the total ring. Everyone at INTA Gems was extremely nice and helpful, they gave my fiancee a print out of different ideas on how to propose to me. They also helped us find insurance for the ring. They went way above and beyond my expectations. My experience at INTA Gems was more than I could have hoped for. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a diamond they could really show off.

INTA Gems is awesome! The staff is great, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, have AMAZING integrity! My fiancee and I stumbled upon them while we were wandering aimlessly around the jewelry district looking at all the glittering objects, and they were the first ones who didn't try to pressure us into getting something we didn't want. We told them we wanted a ring that incorporated both of our birthstones and they helped us design something completely unique. After the hour or so we spent with them, we told them we'd think about it and we wanted to keep shopping. They completely let us walk out the door after spending that much effort with us and didn't try to guilt trip or pressure us into buying the ring! Obviously we went back to them after checking out some of the other vendors since I found myself comparing all other rings to the ring INTA helped create for us. (and wait, it gets better!)

Steve gave us a great deal on the ring and called me in the middle of making it to let me know that he wasn't happy with the way some of the smaller stones were turning out (for those of you that don't know, gemstones get lighter in color the smaller they're cut). He showed me what the ring looked like with the lighter stones and, because I didn't like the way it looked, he recut a bunch more stones, just to find the 3 that would match the rest of my ring (at no charge!). It turned out absolutely beautiful and I love it!

We just went back to the jewelry district to get our wedding bands. We had an idea for a custom band for my fiancee, and again, INTA spent a bunch of time working with us and had no problem when we walked away to think about the ideas they presented to us. We priced around at some of the other jewelers to see how much they would charge to make what we had in mind, and found that INTA was a little bit more expensive, but we went with them anyways because we trust them to do a great job and take care of us.

Also, the quality of INTA jewelry is a lot better than other jewelers downtown. I've seen rings that my friends have had made at other vendors, and I've noticed that when it comes to details and finishing touches, INTA is exponentially better! The INTA family is definitely a place for everyone to check out if you're looking for anything made with exquisite attention to detail by people who care about making sure you get what you want!

I went to INTA Gems with my fiance (now wife) to look at designs and get a custom sapphire engagement ring. I needed a custom design because we were going to take out the sapphire from a family heirloom ring and put it in a new ring that she described and I designed. Steve did a great job of showing me some designs, working with me to flesh out the final design I had in my head, and negotiating the details. In one day we got the design details worked out, settled on a price, took out the sapphire from its previous setting, measured for rings, and picked out wedding bands. Two days later I realized that I had forgotten one small design detail. I called Steve, rushed down to his shop, and drew out the detail, and it was no problem for him to add it in. The ring arrived a week and a half ahead of schedule and looked great, along with its matching band and my wedding band. When I proposed, my fiance loved it and said I did a great job of designing what she wanted. The only thing that threw her off a little bit is that the ring box INTA gave me is pretty large--at first she didn't think it was a proposal because of the ring box size, hehe. At any rate, INTA did a great job on the rings and the box was not very big of an issue. Thank you Steve for making me look good! Thanks also for helping us out with a re-sizing, multiple swapouts of my band, and for generally being available and giving great service. I didn't expect the process of ring-shopping to be as quick, easy, and comfortable as Steve made it. I would recommend INTA to any of my friends and family. Thanks again!

Had a great experience at this shop in downtown la. The reviews helped as once you goto the diamond district you are faced with a ton of shops. Bought a loose diamond and a diamond necklace on 2 separate visits.. Friendly service and fair prices. They speak english and chinese and is a family owned business. Thanks to all the reviews here. I would highly, highly, highly recommend INTA to anyone looking for an engagement ring in LA (or on the web)...
When I started ring shopping, I did some research and quickly found out that the LA jewelry district was the best place to go to -- there are tons of shops with diamonds at wholesale prices. However, when I actually went to the jewelry district for the first time, I was completely overwhelmed -- there were hundreds (maybe thousands) of shady salespeople all trying to get me to buy a diamond from them... I thought, how can I trust the largest single purchase of my entire life (by far) to any of these people? Store after store, counter after counter I shopped around, but I didn't feel comfortable with what I was seeing...
Then, I walked into INTA -- What a difference! I met Peter and Connie Young (It's a family-owned business) - who immediately made me comfortable with the entire process. I knew very little about diamonds, but Peter had infinite patience in educating me - without pressuring me at all. When I went back for a second visit, he offered to order several diamonds that met my specifications (and price range), so that I could get the perfect diamond for my fiancee. This truly is customer service that goes above and beyond what I would expect from any jeweler.
In the end, I ended up with a great price on a STUNNING engagement ring! In my experience, the folks at INTA are the nicest, most knowledgeable, and most trustworthy jewelers and gemologists in all of Los Angeles. I will most certainly be doing all of my future jewelry shopping here, and would recommend all of my friends to do the same. Thanks Peter and Connie!

I had the pleasure of meeting Peter and being able to get my engagement ring from him! I had purchased the diamond separately from a wholesaler before I had discovered Inta Gems. I was not having any luck finding a setting I liked, much less finding someone that would set a diamond that wasn't theirs. Peter SAVED ME! Not only did I find the EXACT setting I was looking for at Inta Gems, his setters set my diamond for me!! It was a risky set due to an extremely thin girdle so I lucked out!! Took a two hour drive down to LA Jewelry Mart to compare prices with that of our local community. Not only did we find there was an overwhelming selection...the prices were definitey worth the drive! We had read good referrals about Inta Gems so we wanted to make it a point to find this particular place. As we walked along we went into three other places. We found each experience to be a good one. The selection was good, the prices were EXCELLENT, the people were very nice, and not too pushy.
When we entered Inta Gems, we were greeted by the owner, Jerry Young. He introduced us to a sales associate who began searching for what we were looking for. During that time, the owner's wife, Connie, made some suggestions and offered us more than reasonable prices. What set INTA GEMS apart was their attention to what WE wanted, and we could NOT have met nicer people. When all was said and done, we had bought two rings at an excellent price, they had stayed an extra hour while our rings were sized and set after locating someone who could take care of it RIGHT THERE AND THEN. We felt like we had made new friends......and we knew it was DEFINITELY worth our time/drive and we knew we'd be back in the future for additional purchases!

My fiance and I went ring shopping around the San Diego area before heading to the diamond district in LA. Everywhere we went, people were just looking to make a sale. Plus they'd always try to pressure us into buying the ring! ("The sale is only until this sunday!", "I can't hold the diamond for you unless you put down a deposit of *insert ridiculous dollar amount here*", etc).

Then comes INTA Gems... I actually found this place online. Decided to check it out based on all the positive reviews and I'm so glad I did!! Steve (and family) was so helpful and never pushy. I was super picky, but Steve remained patient with me till the end. Now I have my engagement ring on as I type this, and even now (2 months after he proposed) - I still can't stop staring at it!

Great prices for GREAT quality jewelry! And great customer service! I'll be heading back there in a few months when we start shopping for our wedding rings! =D

My boss was actually the one that told me about the jewelry district, and through that, I found INTA Gems on online (through several review sites).

Me and my fiance actually started shopping for rings back in Dec (he proposed 3 weeks ago!). We both live and work in San Diego so initially we started looking over there (with no luck). My boss recommended the jewelry district in LA so we decided to check it out.

After researching engagement rings and the jewelry district, INTA gems was the first place to pop up on my search. And with all the great reviews, how could I NOT check the place out? Well, I'm very glad that we checked it out because Steve was very patient with how picky I was. Letting me look at as many diamonds and settings as I wanted!

We bought the diamond in Dec. and bought the setting early Jan. Not only did they have the best prices, they also had a wide variety to choose from! Everyone there was more than helpful and very friendly (never pushy). And they sized our ring and set our diamond in an hour. VERY quick service! =)

I would definitely recommend INTA Gems to anyone and everyone! I'm the first out of my group of friends to be engaged so when all my girl friends are ring shopping, I will definitely send them on over to INTA Gems! Oh, and... you'll be seeing us again soon when we buy our wedding bands! ;)

My wife and I were looking for a place in downtown L.A. to fix her diamond ring. When we got to INTA Gems, we were blown away with their hospitality and knowledge of jewelry. They thoroughly explained the possibilities that we could do with my wife's ring. At the end, we opted for keeping my wife's diamond, and making a totally new diamond ring to her own liking. We came to Inta Gems and met Connie and her husband, they were so friendly and took the time to show us different ruby's, explained the quality and origin of the gems. They spent a great deal of time walking us through different engagement ring options from ready-made to custom designed. Parking downtown can sometimes be a problem, but they validate when you make a purchase of a certain amount.

I was searching for a gorgeous engagement ring to propose to my girlfriend. Only problem: I'm a 26 year old student without a lot of money. The jewelry district downtown I was told, is where I was most likely to get the best deal. I was also told that if I found the wrong shop, that is where I was most likely to be pushed around and ripped off. So of course I was a little pensive when searching for "the right shop." I found IntaGems and chose it because the vast majority of reviews were excellent. They said it was a no pressure, family run business with a great quality product.

I've never bought a diamond before, nor a diamond ring, nor spent that much money on...well ...anything. But I wanted to do this right. First I took the GIA's free online "how to buy a diamond class" (which I recommend to everyone who is buying an expensive diamond for the first time)

I met with Steve, his father and the two girls who worked there. I thought buying an engagement ring would be stressful, but they made it relaxed and fun. One of the girls spent an hour with me, looking at my pictures I brought in, talking about style and trying on dozens of rings so that I could find the perfect one. Then steve helped me through the diamond process, until we found one that fit the ring perfectly.

But then I found out the ring was platinum (I was looking for white gold) and the diamond was too expensive for me. I was shattered because I knew it was the perfect ring. I thought about getting a smaller diamond, but Steve knocked $1,000 dollars off the sticker price so that I could afford it. Long story short, she said yes. The ring is so beautiful she at first thought it must be fake. The ring is goregous, and she (and I) get comments about it all the time. Although I still spent about $1500 more than I had originally intended I wouldn't take it back for anything. And I would definitely shop at IntaGems again,

I have a good friend that makes jewelry. He suggested I check out the Jewelry district in Los Angeles before I have him custom make my girlfriend's engagement ring. I am grateful he did. I went to Inta Gems to buy an engagement ring after reading positive reviews about their quality and service. I had never purchased an expensive piece of jewelry before and didn't have very much knowledge about buying diamonds. But Peter and his mother were extremely helpful and patient guiding me through the process. I never felt pressured or rushed and their advice seemed genuine. I've shopped in the Jewelry District before and I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. I?ve been pushed around been presented iffy product even called crazy because I knew what I wanted. I had no idea how different things could be. Wow let me just say what an experience top notch service top notch craftsmanship and once again Peter thank you for everything. We looked everywhere for an engagement ring from Tiffanys to Robins Brothers and I was not impressed. Price was definitely an issue with me and secondly where is the experience with these large brick and mortar stores like Robbins Brothers? I run a family business where pride in the products we sell and most importantly service to our customers comes first. The time I spent online educating myself on diamonds helped decide what I wanted and assisted me in deciding how much to pull out of my pocket. But the knowledge and experience Peter has in this business I could never replicate. Peter literally hunted down an absolutely gorgeous diamond and topped it of with a custom setting at a fraction of the cost of similar settings. I'm a very meticulous person very detail oriented and I knew what I want and so did Peter. After the diamond and setting were finished Peter emailed me pictures and videos of the ring. My initial reaction was wow what service. I cannot tell you how happy we both are with the ring and our experience with the Inta Gems family. Were going back for our wedding bands soon and if this keeps up we might have a jeweler in the family for life!!! Hands down the best jeweler in town!!!

My fiance wanted to make sure that he bought me a ring that I would love and that he would be proud that I was wearing, so after shopping on line for a few months we picked out the cut and quality we wanted to get. We went to Inta Gems after reading some very good reviews online and we knew we had found the right place on our first visit...Everyone at Inta Gems was helpful in the whole process, (and not at all pushy)...picking out the diamond, finding the right band, helping us find a good insurance company for it...etc. My ring is beautiful, and unique. He also had them replace a rhinestone in his college ring with a real diamond and they did an excellent job...I would highly recommend this place!

This is the best jeweler I've visited so far in my life. They are 100% very helpful and they do not give pressure to you. Everyone was very, very helpful when I was choosing my engagement ring. They want you to get what you love most and what fit in your budget than try to sell you something you can't afford. They are very patient and try to get the stone that you want even though it meant hours of multiple visits. Oh and the price, too. Believe me I check so many websites and stores (before I find Inta on CitySearch, so I have an idea) for price comparisons and they offer the best price with the best quality diamond. Don't waste your time and money and go there to check it out yourself. Believe me you'll be doing yourself a favor.

As with many lifetime L.A.-residents, I have made a number of trips to downtown with the intention of purchasing jewelry, always with the expectation of inconvenient-parking and the uncomfortable ordeal of deflecting unwanted sales-pressure from often-smarmy jewelers, who invariably act as if they are doing ME a FAVOR by spending their VALUABLE time consulting with me, when CLEARLY my potential-purchase is of relatively low financial-value. Well....THIS TIME WAS A REVELATION! After stumbling across the INTAGEM website in a search for a specific starting-point to shop for a sapphire engagement ring, I was impressed with the reviews and made the decision to visit them. What a distinct pleasure it was to not be hounded with questions as to my needs the moment I walked into the store; PETER and his fellow staff/family clearly recognize that their customers already know what they want in principle, requiring simply that someone guide them to a more specific, ultimate selection. When I requested a particular ring that I had seen on the website, I also informed PETER that my first choice would have been a different colored stone,to which he responded by showing me a custom-selected tray with an array of sapphires in the shade-range I preferred. He proceeded to allow me to examine the stones at my leisure, with no intervention other than to answer any and all my questions with a forthright and friendly understanding that my stated price-range was not negotiable;NONE OF THAT ANNOYING"up-selling" of product. When I had chosen a stone/setting, he ushered me to a comfortable upstairs-LOUNGE to await the setting-process, offering refreshment and the option to avail myself of their internet-access as a diversion. During the entire time I spent with PETER, we discussed a myriad of subjects such as favorite-restaurants, our personal L.A.-experiences and lives in-general(I was even shown a family-scrapbook). Around 2001 I was searching for a specific stone to make a ring and I strolled unknowingly into Inta Gems. Unlike most of the booths in the vast world of the La jewelry district I knew right away I had found something as rare as the infamous Hope Diamond. As any of us who has gone to shop in the LA jewelry mart , it is a fast paced , cold , let's make a quick deal world and if your not ready to buy or not sure what you want you would be lucky just to get one of the merchants to even spend more than a few seconds with you. At Inta Gems I was met with just the opposite, Steve the son and his brother Peter are most always on site and ready to help you find and pick the perfect sone no matter how big or small or what shape, color and clarity you seek. Steve is a real gemologist (unlike most) and is probably one of the most knowledgeable people in the whole district. I have purchased so many items from them over the years there is far to many to list from custom rings to braclets, necklaces and single stones. I will tell you my most important experience . When you walk in you are greeted like family , from their father, mother and sister , you are given great idea's, shown many different choices and you are sure to find exactly what you want and in the best price range anywhere in the entire district. They also work with a custom ring maker that will design and build whatever it is you seek and the quality is better than the finest of big name companys with a better than one third the price. Steve and Peter along with the Family have became like Family to me and they have found stones for me that are one of a kind in the world. I was referred to Inta Gems by a close friend and as soon we walked in we were treated so good like we were family. Peter took the time to go through the process of selecting diamonds and we found the perfect one! Top of the line quality diamond and he helped find the perfect ring setting that had a matching band. It was a great deal. Everyone there was just so friendly and helpful. No pressure at all. We had to get the ring resized and the diamond mounted so we had to wait after the store was closed, but everyone kept us entertained. We would never get this experience anywhere else!! Everyone at Inta Gems was very friendly and, more importantly, honest and sincere. We went in to look at blue sapphire stones and, boy do they have a nice selection. We found an amazing stone that was GIA certified. Peter and his team custom built the setting and it was created in a timely manner. The ring came back beautiful and I was very happy with it. After we purchased the ring we took it to get an unbiased appraisal (in addition to the one Peter gave us free of charge) and it came back slightly lower than what we paid, which indicates a fair retail price but not a "wholesale" price. However the appraisal did verify the quality of the stone. I would suggest to be cautious and educated about the price you are willing to pay - don't expect wholesale prices just because you are shopping `downtown.

I went to SEVERAL of the jewelers both in the downtown jewelery district as well as the china town jewelery district. INTA Gems is THE ONLY place that had an amazing selection, UNBEATABLE prices, and THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE out of all the places I had visited (and I visited many many many stores). PETER YOUNG is one of the sons of the family run INTA Gems who really took his time to explain and help select THE BEST DIAMOND that I encountered. The wide selection of diamonds is intimidating at first but with Peter's GIA Graduate Gemologist's expertise I quickly found and purchased THE MOST unbelievable GIA CERTIFIED, LASER INSCRIBED, D-color, 0.86, Ex Ex Ex (yes the best of the best of the best of the best) diamond. The entire family was attentive and inviting as if I were a personal guest in their home. I will ALWAYS go back to INTA Gems for ALL of my future purchases and you should too. Shop around if you like but you will not be able to beat the customer service and value that you are guaranteed to receive at INTA Gems.

just got a gorgeous custom made alexandrite ring from inta gems. i've always wanted a colorstone engagement ring for my birthstone - june. something different from the rest. went shopping in the jewelry district and couldn't find any natural color change alexandrites until we found inta gems. they had a nice selection - very hard to find. i found the perfect cushion 1.52 ct alexandrite and they custom made me a ring in 18k white gold that i absolutely love. tons of compliments... so happy. it's perfect.

I agree that the customer service at INTA gems is excellent. It is family-run, and they do make you feel special. Their selection of loose gems, especially sapphires, is very good for such a small place. I feel they gave us a good price for the sapphire and diamond engagement ring my fiance and I purchased, and they gave us a written appraisal to go with it. I originally chose an in-stock ring setting, but the diamond baguettes on either side of the main stone were very asymmetrical, and there were a few spots where the engraving on the platinum was flawed. So my fiance and I went back to see if they could help us find a better setting, and Steve made sure he was there to personally assist us. He immediately recognized the flaws in the ring and told us he would have it custom built at no charge. He personally chose a matching pair of diamond baguettes and, using my original sapphire, had the ring made for me. The custom-built ring is basically flawless and looks amazing. I am very happy with my ring and with the special attention Steve gave to making sure it came out looking beautiful. My fiance and I are going back in January to purchase sapphire earrings to match the ring. I will definitely be returning to INTA Gems for my future fine jewelry purchases and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Just got a custom designed 1.52 carat F/VS2 round diamond engagement ring in platinum from Inta Gems & Diamonds. I have to say that my fianc and I are so incredibly happy with the service, product and craftsmanship of the ring. After shopping at many other jewelers in the jewelry district, I really feel that I got the best deal for my money. They have a great website that I checked before going in, but they are not an internet jeweler. They will actually show you diamonds before you buy, which was my main concern. How can I spend thousands of dollars and not see the diamond first? Ive seen a few other friends that have bought off of internet sites, and if you compare, there is no comparison. Inta Gems diamond rings are much better. Most importantly theyll treat you like real person and not just another sale.

I just received the most incredible ring from my fiancee, who bought it at Inta Gems. The jeweler is truly unbelievable. My setting has so many intricate stones and detailing, and was hand-engraved. I have never seen anything like it before. When I received the ring, it was a little big. I went to have it resized and they finished it right away. They not only remembered the ring itself, but they remembered my fiancee and were very accommodating. The customer service there cannot be matched. After getting the ring resized, we bought our wedding bands there. They customized them for us exactly how we wanted them, and had them ready in four days. What is nice about this place is that they are very willing to work with you to give you exactly what you want. They are a smaller store, so they remember their customers, and treat them with the utmost respect. I recently found out that my fiancee was looking for the right ring and diamond for over a year. When he went into Inta Gems, he found the diamond he wanted that was laser inscribed (which helps prevent theft). He didn't buy it, but went home to find the exact specs of that diamond online. The online price was somewhat lower than what Inta Gems offered. When he went back to Inta Gems to make his purchase, they matched the online price. Another incentive to buy? If you pay in cash, they will give you a discount if you ask for it. I have found my jeweler and am so very pleased with the quality of craftsmanship and service that Inta Gems has offers.

Buying an engagement ring is a daunting task. After looking at many of the big retail chains and online shops (e.g. Robbins Bros, Blue Nile) I decided that the jewelry district in Downtown LA would provide the best value. The only problem was finding a reputable jeweler among the hundreds of vendors. I did my research online and found INTA Gems. I was very impressed with the many positive reviews they had received. I had a general idea of the kind of diamond I wanted and conveyed that to them (Princess, At least 2 carat, colorless, VS2 or higher). They had 1 on-hand that met my specifications. I wanted to see more to compare it with. Within 1 day, they rounded up 4 more diamonds for me to look at. After picking the diamond and getting their price, I looked on Blue Nile and could not find a diamond with similar characteristics for a better price. I found a setting online that I liked and brought in pictures. They were able to recreate the look AND beat the online price. The ring was ready more than a week before they had promised it too. All in all, I got a fabulous ring at a great price. They even provided an appraisal for the ring for insurance purposes. They were very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend INTA to my friends and will return to buy the wedding bands. Thanks Steve and Tina, she loves the ring!!

After visiting the numerous vendors in the jewelery district (and also the major chains), Inta Gems was hands down the best to work with. Their quality of service, stones, and price point was exactly what I was looking for. I walked out really feeling like I got a good deal and a great stone(GIA certified).

They're also excellent at establishing a relationship with their customers, and this is why I'll be returning to them any time I need to purchase jewelery. Several of my friends and family have also purchased from them with the same remarks.

I was hunting around the Jewelry District for an engagement and it was such an overwhelming process, I just happened to walk into Inta Gems. Immediately I was talking to Peter who is GIA certified gemologist who I actually felt knew what he was talking about. All the other people I encountered that day really felt like they were pushing me these stones without really explaining to me what was so great about them. The people at Inta Gems even told me to check out online companies and compare prices and they were guaranteeing that they would match if not beat the price! My fiancee loved the diamond ring and we went back to get our wedding rings. I would recommend Inta Gems to anyone who is serious about getting an engagement ring!

I love Inta Gems! My now-fiance and I were completely ignorant to the world of diamond engagement rings, and thanks to Inta Gems, I was able to pick my dream ring, well within our budget. Peter was extremely helpful, taking over an hour just to look at diamonds and settings, without pressuring us to make a purchase. When I returned to have the ring sized, the courteous staff were able to do it in less than a half hour, and did not charge me extra when the initial size I picked turned out to be too big. All in all, shopping for an engagement ring was a much more fun, special experience than I had even hoped for, and I owe this to Inta Gems.

Wow!! INTA gems gets two thumbs up!!

Hoping to find a unique, colorful, on-of-a-kind engagement ring, my fiancee was directed to INTA Gems because of their great reputation and extensive selection of sapphires. Now, neither my fiancee nor I know a whole lot about gems, but the courteous and knowledgeable staff at INTA Gems succeeded in helping him find a gorgeous engagement ring: a stunning 6+ carat light sapphire surrounded by tons of sparkly diamonds. Bling Bling!

When we went back to size the ring to my finger, we were greeted by such a helpful and genuinely friendly staff. The owner gave us her undivided attention as all of our questions were answered. Additionally, the prices are great. I have no doubt this piece would cost double elsewhere. Seriously, make the drive to downtown, it's worth it.

I couldn't be more satisfied with my ring... it's gorgeous. And to know that it didn't break the bank makes me happy too. ;)

I work in Rockefeller Center, less than 5 minutes walking to New York's (in)famous Diamond District on 47th Street. After months of contacting dozens of jewelers, it came as a huge surprise that the jeweler I ended up working with was Steve Pheng of INTA gems in sunny Los Angeles. After looking through literally hundreds of stones, Steve proved to be the rare jeweler who could find a diamond that fit my specifications to a tee. Not only that, Steve NEVER tried to sell me a stone that was outside my price range or spec. Steve focused on educating me, finding me the right stone, and giving it to me for the right price. When we finally found the stone, he absolutely crushed the competition on price. Even more than providing the best price, Steve worked with me throughout the entire process to ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish. In the end, I gained not only a great jeweler, but also a friend. He helped me find the stone, and moreover helped me to design a gorgeous setting. And when the setting didn't turn out quite as expected, he bent over backwards to fix the issue, under incredible time pressure. I purchased a 1.50 Diamond Asscher cut center stone from Steve Pheng a couple weeks ago. First of all, this type of stone is difficult to find in the first place. I searched all over the internet and all over town for the perfect stone. I was doing months of research and went to several jewelers. I went to Robbins Bros thinking they would deal. Was I wrong!! Finally I found INTA Gems. It was late in the day and I just came from a "wholesale" diamond dealer ( you know, one of those dealers whose office is in one of those tall buildings surrounding the Jewelry District) and wAs extremely disappointed in the service I received. So as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile and asked how they could help me. It was not even 5 minutes when Steve found my stone, and for 1/3 if not 1/2 the price!!!
A week later I came back to Steve and purchased the stone. Not only was Steve helpful but he sat me down and gave me an hour lesson on how to look, examine, and research a diamond. He was the first person that actually knew what they were talking about!

The stone has been burning a hole in my pocket ever since and can't wait to show it to my lovely bride to be.

I have never written a review but felt the need to do so after I walked away from INTA Gems. I even put Steve's # in my cell phone.
INTA DESTROYS THE COMPETITION!!!

We purchased our first gem in April 2006. We had already bought the setting from another jeweler and they promised that they would find me a sapphire that I loved! Of course they could not.. They brought in 4 stones for me to look at, none of which I thought were the right size or color.
That led us to downtown L.A. where we shopped at many different vendors.. Again no one could provide me with what I was looking for:( I was beginning to become depressed and think that we were NEVER going to find a stone that I liked.
We stumbeled across Inta Gems.. I had not read any reviews and had never been to the store before. However Peter and his Mom were able to help us immed! We were able to find a beautiful Sapphire that I loved for UNDER $1000!!! They were very patient with me and let me look at many different stones explaining what made one more valuable than another. Once we had made our final selection they had the Sapphire set in my ring the same day!
We were so happy with the way it turned out we could not wait to get Officially Engaged and my boyfriend proposed that night!! I just could not wait to start wearing my beautiful ring!!
I wore that ring for a little over a year and just a few days ago my fiance Robert suprised me with a trip to see Peter to do a trade in on my stone and get an even BIGGER and more BEAUTIFUL Sapphire!!! We bought the very first one that we looked at!! This one is close to two carats and deeper in color and oval in shape. It is STUNNING and we paid just a little over $2000!!!!
This time we were at the store even longer that the first time because I truly loved the first Sapphire. I had a bit of a hard time letting it go. AGAIN Peter and his Mom were extremly helpful, not at all pushy and they did not EVER try to hurry me along in making a choice!
As usual they had the stone set same day and I must tell you my ring now is EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL than before!! We are getting married this Saturday and I cannot wait to show off my ring!!

Steve was gracious and patient with my fiances specifc requests and he found us the diamond we were looking over a month for. If you're like me, most of what you know about choosing an engagement ring you learned online. With that in mind, considering their amazing rating on CitySearch, it's not surprising that I'd choose Inta Gems as the first dealer to visit in my quest to find the perfect ring. My girlfriend and I decided to shop for rings together. She didn't want a boring diamond like everyone else seems to get, so we researched alternative stones. We were leaning towards a Aquamarine due to it being my girlfriend's birth stone. Fortunately, Peter at Inta Gems was caring enough to inform us that Aquamarine stones are too soft for a lifetime of daily wear. We then looked at Rubies, but eventually my girlfriend decided on a beautiful pink sapphire ring at about 1/3 the cost of a similar ruby. We didn't expect to find a perfect matching ring for the stone at Inta Gems, but sure enough they had one that was just right. My girlfriend has tiny fingers, so her ring needed to be re-sized a few times for the perfect fit (which I believe ended up being 3.5 with a ball). Inta gems did the resizing without any additional cost and were pleasant to deal with throughout the process. They seem like very nice people and our experience couldn't have been better. I went in with a budget around $2k for the ring and stone, and found something perfect for our price. As much as it pained me to spend $2k for jewelry, I couldn't have chosen a better company to work with. One stop shopping! I highly recommend checking out Inta Gems, especially if you're looking to purchase an alternative stone instead of the usual diamond engagement ring. When my girlfriend told me she wanted a ruby engagement ring, I started searching and quickly learned that the selection of QUALITY stones is FAR more limited (and pricey!) than when shopping for quality diamonds. Then I found Inta Gems. Peter and his whole family were so very nice and helpful and they had a wonderful selection of IN STOCK gems. They showed me a 3 carat ruby that they had just brought back from Burma and it was gorgeous. Peter designed it and set it in platinum with two half moon diamonds on either side. My fiance LOVES it and says it is the most beautiful ring she has ever seen (mission accomplished!).

Plus, the price was great and their service and attitude couldn't have been better. All in all, a wonderful buying experience. Check them out for other gems too. Their selection is really great and you won't find a better gem at a better price anywhere.

Before I began the process, I did a considerable amount of research (e.g., books, the internet). Afterwards, I went to a number of jewelers in the Los Angeles area (e.g., Robbins Brothers and others) and a variety of on-line sites. Given what I experienced at other jewelers, I was prepared for more of the same at INTA Gems. Much to my surprise, I found quite the opposite. Steve had a straight forward, no pressure approach. He was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. I ended up with a great, high quality diamond for a fantastic price. This was later confirmed when I had the diamond independently appraised. I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Steve and INTA Gems. I would recommend them to anyone (and already have).

Steve and the Inta team showed me dozens of diamonds in my price range and I nailed the perect stone! My girl was blown away (she was expecting a little chip and I got her a ROCK). I looked everywhere first, Bluenile, Robbins Bros, and a bunch of others. Steve beat their prices without any tactics or hard selling. This is a family operated business and they really take pride in what they're doing. I've been back since with a tricky custom order and they knocked it out overnight. Shop here, you'll buy, end of story! I'm bummed at how much I've spent at Tiffany & Co over the years just to get the cute little blue bag. I've learned my lesson, and it turns out they don't care about the bag, But, If you ask Steve's Father will give you a great little bag... and some tea.

I have never written a review before, and before this year really knew very little about jewelry, or Diamonds, let alone world class custom jewelry... I met the woman of my DREAMS, and set out to find the most AMAZING Exquisite ring on earth for a ridiculously good price... well, all i can say is that GOD led me to THE place...

I had traveled through what seemed like millions of webpages learning all i could learn about diamonds, and jewelry, and designs, and all the regular places, high end mall jewelry stores in the O.C., Robbins Brothers, and various 'jewelry marts' all over the place, i even ventured over an hour to the Jewelry district and met with people who came HIGHLY recommended from close friends and peers, and STILL could not find what i had hoped for, and wanted... UNTIL!...

My good bro who is a jeweler by hobby was in search of rare colored stones, and we stumbled upon this shop among the thousands of shops in LA's downtown Jewelry district and make a long story even longer, ended up meeting Steve Pheng, (who now has my phone number in his personal cell phone) and tracked down the ONLY Diamond in the world that fit my criteria AND saved me over a $1000.00 on the lowest of the low prices i had found so far, AND $1,500.00 on the Most PERFECT Diamond i'd ever seen of all the diamonds my eyes had seen!! He introduced me to his designer who exceeded my high and picky expectations with the final design, and all i can say is Steve and his awesome family at Inta Gems are Industry Experts and Key Note speakers at for the G.I.A. and they are the only jewelers I will ever use.

I am so happy I ended up at Inta Gems! My woman had been making me stop at every jewelry store in the mall 'just to look'. Every time I went into one of these stores, I would feel pressured by the salesman. They were worse than used car lots. Plus, I didn't know who to trust and everything looked the same.
I read all the fantastic reviews on city search and decided to check out Inta Gems on my own. From the first conversation with Peter, I felt totally relaxed. He took the time to educate and advise. He listened to me and really understood what I was looking for. Then, he custom designed a ring that was perfect. It was exactly what I had in my mind's eye and the woman loved it. I just purchased a 1.08 carat F/VS2 princess cut diamond from Inta Gems in a solitaire platinum setting. Peter, who helped me, was very informative about the different cuts of diamonds. I actually got the best information from Inta than anyone else in Los Angeles. I read the review from Musey, and I have to disagree with him/her. Inta is probably the most informative diamond jeweler in the Los Angeles Jewelry District. When I got inquisitive, Peter brought out the GIA Diamond Grading Manual to show me all the details of how the GIA determines the grade of a diamond's color, clarity, shapes and cut. Actually, the information in the book was really detailed and I highly doubt it if most people would even want to read through it because it's about 3 inches thick. I am a medical student who is very inquizative. So, I already spent 3 months researching diamonds online and another 2 weeks actually looking at diamonds in the jewelry district. I think that I knew more about diamonds than most guys would ever want to know.

In any case, Inta has a nice selection of diamonds at the store and Peter really took the time to show me the differences between all of them. I decided on a princess cut diamond eventually because it had the most sparkle for a square shaped diamond. I am VERY happy with my purchase and more importantly, so is my fiance!

Just don't expect anything super fancy or luxurious because fancy stores are not what the jewelry district is about price and value are the main reasons to buy! So, I would stop by the jewelry district just to see if you don't mind the downtown urban street vibe. Inta's prices are very competitive and the service very attentive. Highly recommended.

After reading the fantastic reviews of INTA, my bf and I were anxious to visit and hopefully make our final purchase there. We recieved quick service and lots of questions (good) and diamonds to look at, but when I said I was still trying to decide between an Asscher cut and a Square Emerald cut, the salesman said "Oh, they're actually exactly the same." I immediately pushed all of the diamonds back to him and walked away. If you know diamonds, then you know why!

They are NOT the same cut, there are several subtle but important differences. A knowledgeable jeweler should be able to describe every one of those differences. I hope for this salesman's sake that he actually knew there was a difference, but didn't expect a customer to know, rather than that he actually thought they were identical cuts. Neither option bodes well for this jeweler.

I've loved INTA Gems from the first day that I entered their shop. The selection of gems is larger than most typical jewelry stores in Los Angeles. INTA Gems is by far #1 for loose color gems and diamonds in Los Angeles.

I've purchased several blue sapphires, pink sapphires and rubies from them over the past 4 years. I've been on the hunt for a certified 5 carat blue sapphire from Ceylon and they had it! They've been valued for much higher every time at my appraiser.

The family that runs the business, couldn't be any nicer and friendlier. I usually have worked with Steve or Peter. They respect your questions and really try to do their best to help you. And they've even custom made a platinum blue sapphire and diamond ring for me that is beautiful! I get compliments on it all the time from my friends and family.

Some words of advice. I've also noticed that if you visit them in the mornings when they are first opening, there are not as many people are around. You can sometimes get better service by showing up early. They got a bit busy a few times I went there in the late afternoon when the other customers are finishing up their purchases.

And don't expect anything super fancy when you go. INTA operates in a booth in a jewelry plaza surrounded by a lot of other jewelers. It's easy to get confused in the jewelry district. If you find the trays of loose gems and diamonds, and a sign that reads INTA GEMS, you know it's them. Otherwise, you're dealing with another business.

And make sure that you buy from GIA graduate gemologists (like at INTA), not all jewelers actually know about colored gems. Youd be surprise that even experienced jewelers get fooled by laboratory grown synthetics, glass and look-alikes. I know because I was sold pink tourmaline (a cheap gem) by another jeweler who claimed it was a pink sapphire (an expensive gem). They guy mainly dealt with diamonds, so he didnt know what he was doing with colored gems. I don't think he purposely tried to rip me off, but honestly just didn't know enough about pink sapphires. I learned my lesson. I did my research and now I know a little bit more on how to tell them apart. But, INTA Gems guarantees that all of their stones are natural and what they are. And my appraiser has verified that every time I bought something from them that it is what they said it was.

If youre looking for beautiful natural gems at low prices, trust INTA Gems! They know what they are doing!!!

PROS: Great selection, attentive service, low prices
CONS: Finding them for the first time.... but it's worth it.

The first thing you'll notice at INTA Gems is that they treat you right and explain things to you in detail.

At INTA, the family that runs the business, actually treats you like family. Connie and her son, Peter, helped me pick a tanzanite and diamond ring for my wife. They did a great job!

Connie and Peter never tried to pressure me to buy anything. They just explained everything to you in a very easy way and just lets you make the best decision for you. I hate feeling like someone is pressuring me, and I never felt that way at all at INTA. Especially when I'm buying something like jewelry, which can be intimidating at first.

They had huge selection of colorstones, which at makes picking one a bit more difficult because they all look beautiful, but you'll see that each have their own individual characteristics and you'll begin to like one more than the others. I spent 2 hours looking at 3-4 carat tanzanites. But, I'd rather have the problem of having too many to choose from than not. I got a great price for the ring as well. Much better than all the other jewelers in the jewelry district and even lower than online jewelers. Most importantly, my wife, Jenn, loved the ring! She wears it everyday and her friends always compliment her on how beautiful it is. That makes me happy.

I can't say enough about how much like enjoyed my experience buying a ring at INTA Gems. Im actually looking forward to buying something else this Christmas. Definitely go check them out if you want a fantastic ring, great price and friendly service. INTA Gems is the way to go!

After searching the web for countless hours for a black diamond, I decided to do a search of a store that a friend of mine used to get his engagement ring. When that jewelers name didnt come up with a website, the search engine listed some alternative jewelers. Of the few that came up but I emailed Inta Gems. A few days later, I was talking over size, color and such with Peter and Steve. Within 4 days My Fianc and I were at the store picking up the diamond and choosing the band to go with it. Everything worked out at end after months of searching I was able to find exactly what my fianc wanted.

I purchased an engagement ring from Steve and Peter at Intagems and I can't say enough good things about my experience. They are extremely knowledgeable and gave me a very fair price. They are not hyper-agressive salesmen and instead work from a place of educating you about your options and allowing you to decide what's best for your tastes, budget, etc. I proposed to my girlfriend at the top of Mt. Pilatus in Switzerland and I think at that moment she fell more in love with the ring than with me! j/k. But seriously, she loved the ring and her family has been fawning over it ever since. Everyone notes how great of a diamond it is. For great service and quality product, I can't recommend Intagems enough. In fact, I loved my experience so much that I sent them two more customers who have since purchased engagement rings from Intagems and have similarly wonderful things to say.

After reading the reviews on Citysearch, my fiance and I decided to go there to look for our wedding bands. Steve was amazing-- never tried to upsell us and really worked within our budget. His Mom even gave us cut-up tangerines while we tried on rings! Visiiting INTA gems is well worth the drive downtown. The level of service and quality is second to none!

So, my girlfriend and I wanted to look at engangement ring settings. I had an old family diamond ring which we wanted to reset, but knowing nothing about jewelry we had no idea where to start. After checking out citysearch and seeing the amazing rviews for INTA Gems we decided to make it our first stop. It ended up being our only stop. Peter and Steve took the time to educate us about ring settings, made us feel VERY relaxed and comfortable, and their parents even brought us some fruit! The setting we found wasn't exactly what we were looking for, but Peter brought in their jeweler and they came up with a way to customize the setting so it was PERFECT for our antique diamond.

They also created a customized wedding band to match, and reset our old ring with a new stone. We spent three hours with them and the customer service was really beyond great. They treated us like we were there to spend $50,000 even though we didn't spend much at all, considering what we got. We picked everything up yesterday and are incredibly happy with the way all the customized work came out. Thanks so much to the whole family!

I am from Utah, Steve and his staff we very helpful when we bought our sons engagement ring and wedding bands. They sent us pictures of the rings so we could pick the one we wanted. I'm one of those people who has embraced the internet for shopping, education, everything. For 2 weeks I did endless searches on all the diamond websites to become familiar with the 4 C's. Espeicially the "Cut" . While I was doing that, I also visited, emailed, and called Steve at INTA. He was so patient, answering all my questions. As I narrowed my search, it came down to a diamond on Blue Nile or one that he was offering. He never pressured me. Tina helped me pick out a fabulous setting, but they told me that I could buy either diamond and that would be fine! I decided to go with the INTA one, F-VS2-1.09-Excellent cut. When it came down to it, there was no substitute for customer service. Where other jewelers in the same area became annoyed with all my questions, Steve and his salespeople welcomed them. The family is wonderful also. I will be back and my friends are going to join me.

After looking at Tiffanys and some mall jewelers, a friend of mine wisened my fiance and I up and recommended we check out Inta Gems. Steve and his family were more helpful and accommodating than I could have imagined. The fact that my fiance and I are both physicians living in different states could have made the diamond finding process a bit difficult for us. But, Steve was remarkable and helped my fiance pick out the perfect diamond for me at an amazing price. Inta Gems was a breath of fresh air after we'd had a horrible experience at one of the huge chain stores. Inta gems had exactly what we were looking for and were fully flexible in customizing it just the way we wanted. The result was a gorgeous ring for about 1/4 the cost of what the chain store quoted us. Plus, they did the work immediately and had a finished ring back to us in about an hour, whereas the chain store said it would take 6 weeks. After searching for approximately a year or so and not finding anything that really satisfied my palet I found exactly what I was looking for with Steve. Before I even start bragging about the deal Steve gave me I want to touch on the real reason I am so happy with my choice, the entire experience. I first found Inta Gems on the internet and I sent an email asking about the availabilty of a particular stone I was looking for. I got my first response in the matter of hours, and it was a personal email from a real guy, not some generic response. Within the next 24 hrs he had emailed me a list of stones he could get for me to see in person. The stone I was looking for was a GIA cert only, cushion cut 1.15-1.25c F-H vs-vvs. He was able to produce approximately 20 stones for me to chose from that all fell within those strict guidelines all within just a few days. So right off the bat I had seen more cushion cuts with just Steve then I had seen in my entire 1 year of searching with many other companies, I knew I had found my man. Steve is soooo laid back and down to earth he really seems like one of the guys, that is the #1 reason I gave him my business. He never tried to lure me in one direction over the other to make a sale, he simply tried to get exactly what I wanted, and gave me unbiased advice along the way. At first I thought I wanted to get a designer band for the stone Steve had got me, but while browsing in his shop I noticed that he had some EXCELLENT bands that were better quality then the top designers like Tacori and Verragio, to make a long story short, he made a custom made ring to my taste and for the dimensions of my stone, it came out absolutely perfect. Now getting to the price, I honestly feel bad about how much I paid him for the product I got. The finished product appraised for WAY MORE then what I paid, and honestly no price could have made the ring I got better. To sum this all up, stop searching and call or email Steve today. I'm so excited about the ring I got I want to get engaged all over just so I can go through the process again... J/K Gina.. haha

Life in general can be stressful, but getting married can increase the stress and trying to decide on purchasing a highly valued item like a diamond can make you go crazy!

After checking several jewelers in the Los Angeles Jewelry District, I decided to purchase my Diamond at Inta Gems. They have the most selection of the finest Quality Certified Diamonds that I can find locally!

Their service was outstanding. They were very helpful and courteous explaining the Four C's. There are two Graduate Gemologist working there (Steve & Peter) and have a good selection of both GIA and EGL certified diamons. After looking over the selection, I finally decided to buy a GIA certified 1.21 Ct. H Color VS2 Clarity diamond.

The Diamond was very sparkling and gorgeous. I was very happy with my purchase and will make more purchases in the future.

I was referred to by a friend to Inta Gems and spoke with Steve Pheng. I purchased a GIA certified Round 1.50 ct. J VS2 Diamond with an engagement ring from him.

Being an MBA student from USC, I did significant research about diamonds before I made my final choice with Inta Gems.

I was so thrilled with the product, price and service. that I took my fiance to purchase diamond earrings and a diamond pendant. Again we were thrilled again with the sparkle and quality.

My wife fell in love with tanzanite on a trip to South Africa this August. When we got back, she kept bugging and nagging me that I should have bought her one, which I thought was too much money. I'm glad that I didnt buy it then.

In Capetown and Johannesburg, fine blue tanzanite was selling for $1,500 per carat in the jewelry stores. I got my wife a 3.84 carat tanzanite at INTA for only $490 per ct at Christmas time which made my wife happy.... finally.

If you do the math, I basically saved $3,878.40, which is enough for another trip to Africa.

Lesson One- Dont always listen to your wife when she wants to buy something on a trip

Lesson Two- Buy from INTA and save some money on your gems.

Theres a million jewelers in the LA jewelry district, but after visiting everybody else, go check out the best, INTA Gems!!!! Steve, one of the owners, helped me with my ring and he was so nice! INTA has a huge selection of loose colorstones, sapphires, rubies, diamonds, and emeralds. I love designing my own rings and I get to pick out the gem first and have it set usually the same day. Ive bought a super fine quality 3-carat blue sapphire and diamond ring. I saw a similar ring at Tiffany for $45K. I took the ring to an independent appraiser, Guild Labratories, and they appraised the ring for triple of what I paid at INTA! Who cares if the ring doesnt have Tiffany stamped on the inside! I got a great deal. Im totally happy! Its TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!

If you can get over your fear of driving downtown and not getting lost, then Inta Gems is the place to go (there is a convenient car park right next door). If you're looking for quality gemstones and jewelry, I would TOTALLY GO TO INTA Gems in Downtown. I bought an amazing blue sapphire and diamond three stone platinum ring for my fiancé. I looked for 3 months and went to all the usual jewelry stores... Tiffany, Van Cleff, Zales. Even in the jewelry district where there are hundreds of jewelry businesses, there really was no comparison. I got to pick my blue sapphire and had it custom made. They did a great job! Most importantly, my fiancé is happy as hell with her ring!

Courteous, affordable, and able to get anything (or design anything) that you could want. They have made one or two things that are simply incredible and over the top for me and the price has been MUCH LESS than other places quoted me.
