Crown Valley Animal Care Center is unsafe!

by Katie F.

Took my dog here and paid a fortune for the overnight kennel while on vacation and my dog had a black bloody eye when I returned and was scared of humans!

THANK YOU Dr. Ivers. THANK YOU Crown Valley Animal Hospital.

by Bita N.

Its because of Doctor Ivers that we dared to adopted so many of them, You LOVE your pets this is the place you would love to go from Hospital to the Hotel & the Grooming also the Daycare, while Dr. Ivers has always been very reasonable, he take so much Pride and he does his work with diligence, he & his Staff have very good Heart, they are Amazing, Fantastic, Great, THEY ARE THE BEST. We had couple of emergencies and as always Dr. Ivers and his Staff took care of our Pets and comfort us at the same time, he always take time to talk and explain everything from A to Z , and he always patiently answer our many questions , his answers are always based on facts which is very comforting, Dr. Ivers always calls to make sure his Patients are doing fine.
On top of the excellent service you get at their place, the HOTEL and its Managers or staff are one group of people that you can feel comfortable to have, your PET have their own little vacation by staying at this 5 Star PET HOTEL .
There are no words for the efficiency, honesty, care and Trust we have experienced personally for the past 6 years. ALL WE CAN SAY IS:

THANK YOU Dr. Ivers. THANK YOU Crown Valley Animal Hospital.
You are the BEST.

WE LOVE DR IVERS!

by Joanna P.

I have taken my new kitten Ozzy to Dr. Ivers since we got him back in November 2009 for his shots and checkups. We were very pleased with Dr. Ivers and his entire staff. We especially liked Dr. Ivers because he was a "cat" vet and has 3 cats of his own of the exactly same breed as our new kitten. Besides his kind nature and good bed side manner with our kitten, it is comforting to us to know that our vet has the same breed cat as us and is very much in love with the same animal. we know he will give us the best advice about our animal.

One thing I have to say in response to the comments below, is that I wish i had read these posts before we neutered Ozzy. We found out that CVACC charges over $400 for this simple procedure. We believe this was quite excessive for a common surgery and decided to take him to a low cost clinic. After the surgery, our pets privates got infected. We took him back in for follow up treatment and antibiotics and still 2 weeks after he finished his medication, his infection does not seem to look better. We are going back to Dr. Ivers and wished we had just made the initial investment in the first place because we feel we "got what we paid for", as the Dr. below had mentioned.

Anyone who truly values the quality of life of their pet and their comfort would pay what it cost, obviously, within reason to help their pet.

We will be returning to see Dr. Ivers this week and I highly recommend this vet to anyone.

Love the doctor, love the staff

by Roger B.

I've taken my dog and 2 cats to Crown Valley for 3 years now and love everything about it. I read the last review and was apalled at how viscious that person was. After reading several times, it became VERY apparent it was the work of a pathetic, disgruntled ex-employee. Dr. Ivers diagnosed my dog when no one else could and he saved her life. He and the entire staff have worked with me to keep her healthy and happy for as many years as she has left. I'm grateful to all of them and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Roger

CVACC is an amazing hospital to work

by Deborah A.

In response to the last post, I am extremely disappointed and shocked that any veterinarian worth their weight would go back and comment on a case that they had no involvement in. As in all walks of life, it is very easy to play Monday night quarterback, especially after a succesful outcome...only to claim that you could have done it faster and better also with a successful outcome.
After doing what we refer to as relief work in other practices, I have returned to Crown Valley Animal Care Center (CVACC). It is because of the extremely high quality of practice that we enjoy. For example, yes, you can get a spay or neuter done elsewhere cheaper. However, ask a few questions about the procedures that we at CVACC practice with the best intentions of taking every possible risk out of anesthesia....all animals placed under sedation have in-house bloodwork performed prior to anesthesia, an IV catheter is placed(a life line in case of an unexpected reaction), they are placed on fluids to maintain pressures, monitored with a continuous ECG, CO2/oxygen saturation, ventilator if needed, placed on a BAER hugger air flow body heater if needed, have an overnight nurse monitoring all patients withing the hospital, receive aggressive pain management, etc.
We have no apologies for not cutting corners. The old saying 'you get what you pay for'. Also Dr. Ivers and myself, Dr. Adams, attend numerous continuing education meetings each year (not only the easy local) but travel throughout the country to attend the more cutting edge, state of the art meetings including the annual Emergency and Critical Care convention.
I would be happy to entertain any questions that you may have.
Sincerely, Dr. Deborah Adams 949.495.1123

So thankful

by renee M.

Dr. Iver's and his staff are so wonderful. They are all so caring and kind to their clients and animals. Dr. Iver's I owe so much to. He has saved my Italian greyhound. My little girl was so sick and he diagnosed her and she recived the right treatment and care. Dr. Iver's is so dedicated to his patients and staff. It is rare to find such a perfect balance. The staff was with my girl 24 hours a day. They were all so kind through all my phones calls and my concern. Dr. Iver's always went out of his way to talk to me,and explain all of his finding's. Our animals are so lucky that we have a Dr. that is so involved and truley love's what he does. The staff I owe so much to. I am so thankful for all of them. They are so busy, but take the time with all of their clients. If you need a great Dr. and the best facility to take your animals to, please dont hesitae because Crown Valley Animal Hospital is the best. Thank you Dr. Iver's and all of you that took such great care of my Bella. I am so at peace just knowing I have all of you here for all my animals For the review the one person wrote I so disagree with you Dr. Iver's is the best he gives 100% to all his patients. I have had two different times that my dog was brought to the hospital in an life emergencey and Dr. Iver's saved her life. He is the best and so is the hospital. Thank God they were and are here for us!!!!!

Saved my puppy and kept me calm

by amy l.

This place was not my regular vet, but when my puppy was badly injured on two different occasions, they were the ones that came to our rescue. They were open when my other vet was not. We were able to rush in and were helped right away by a very calm and supportive staff. They were able to save my dog twice, and both times I had complete faith in what they were doing and how they were treating my poor dog. When I had to leave my dog with them overnight, I knew that she would be in very good hands. Everyone I have had contact with there has been so nice, and had a gentle loving nature about them.

PROS: Open during hours most other vets aren't, and have a great staff!

Dr. Adams is the best!

by Heatherdawn W. | insider Insider | Rank: 31,331

Prices are often very good and they've been around for a very long time. Dr. Adams is a wonderful vet. We try and stick with Dr. Adams because, unfortunately, we haven't had good experiences with all of the DVM's at this facility. We have never boarded our dog here, but it looks like a nice boarding facility. Each pet has a "room," rather than a cage, with beds and other creature comforts. The cats have TV's and catwalks.

PROS: Open all night for emergencies

Good place

by Anonymous

If you need to drop off your pet for a while when you go on vacation or take a break, this place is exactly what you want. They hold your pet for you while you are gone and take great care of it. The pricing is easily affordable and the location is really convenient. Great place, highly recommended.

Very caring

by Christine H. | insider Insider | Rank: 15,044

The location is great, the staff is friendly and the place is clean. The wait time can be long with an appt, but the care seems very genuine and worth the wait.
