I found myself suddenly in need of a new vehicle when the car I was driving needed over $3000 in repairs. In one day I test drove 3 used vehicles, found one I liked that had just come in and needed repairs to become "certified pre-owned", and negotiated a deal that both dealership and I walked away happy with. I haven't had many experiences buying cars from dealerships, but my experience at Magnussen's was excellent. Attentive customer service with my best interests in mind, friendly service staff, and low pressure (actually helpful!) sales people made my car buying experience exceptionally pleasant.

My experience with Magnussen was first class. Jim Maroudas worked within guidlines of how I wanted to work/negotiate the deal. He provided the best price and stood behind his word/commitment to me. I was in an out of the dealership within an hour (following working most details over the phone). We ended up at Magnussen's after a not so good experience at Stevens Creek. We called Chris Lin and explained what we wanted and basically worked out a perfect deal over the phone. It was so perfect because we ended up with a 2013 model rather than a 2012 which is what we originally called for. Chris not only met our needs, but exceeded them. There wasn't a lot of back and forth. He listened to us and came back with the right deal the first time. We got a fair value on our trade-in without any painful negotiating. We even got a loaner car for a brief period of time while our car was being transported which gave us a little time to learn and love Lexus. The whole sales process was simple and easy and we will definitely call Chris when ready for our next car!

I just purchased a GS430 from Neil Chandra at Magnussen Lexus. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from him during his tenure at Magnussen and I can honestly admit that I totally trust the process and the service provided by Neil at Lexus. He is an awesome sales person.....not overly aggressive, very informative and very patient throughout the entire deal. I was very impressed not only with the negotiation process, but also the delivery and the follow up. I got my ride here about 3 years ago and was so satisfied with my transaction and overall experience. I practically told everyone about how awesome they were. The sales person was so professional and willing to work with us to make the sale. They are friendly and really big on hospitality. I mean, they have a nail salon!!! Ahhh, heaven. They have a bunch of TVs with couches so you can chill and relax if you want to wait there. If you don't want to wait there while your car is being serviced, they offer free shuttle service (drop off and pick up) to the nearby Pacific Commons so you can grab a bite to eat.

After looking at several cars we decided on a Lexus RX 350. We had a "not so great" experience with one dealer so I put out an internet search for the car we wanted on SUNDAY evening around 6 PM. I got a call 20 minutes later from the internet guy at ML in Fremont. I told him where I lived and he said they would wait for me. He also gave me a price. We drove across the bay and locked in a deal late Sunday night. The next day I received an e-mail from another dealer offering me the car for less money. I was sad and upset that I rushed to make this deal. When we went to pick up the car today I showed them my email and after a few minutes a guy came in and said he would honor the lower price even though we were already under contract for a higher price. Now, I wasn't going to offer any prices but it was nearly 2K. I was in a state of shock and I don't even remember thanking him. I'm still blown away by this and I'm sure they know they created a customer for life. BTW this car is nothing short of awesome.

I took in my lexus suv to get an oil change and tire rotation, since I am still under warranty, they service writers weren't acting like they wanted to sell me services that I do not need. They did the service that I came in for, washed the car, cleaned the interior and even sailed me off in a lexus rental while I wait. Now thats customer satisfication.
