I attended ICA and would have transferred if I had been been so involved in so many of the activities. I loved the school during my freshman year because it seemed like it was so welcoming and community oriented. After that though it all seemed to go downhill. I realized that our courses and facilities were incredibly lacking in quality and that academically we were all so behind. There are so many students who do not care about academics or are not capable of harder classes that the school now caters to them. This made it such a bad learning experience.. if you could even call it a learning experience. I would highly recommend that you do not send your children to ICA ( I came here for financial reasons) and try Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep or Mercy HS if you are looking for schools that can still provide a community based experience.

I ATTENDED ICA FOR 2YEARS OF HIGH SCHOOL AND IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE STAFF AND STUDENTS WERE FRIENDLY. I REALLY LIKE THAT THEY STILL HAVE SISTERS TEACHING CLASS TO THE STUDENTS!!

PROS: LOWEST TUITION FOR ALL GIRLS CATHOLIC IN SF
CONS: SCHOOL IS ON A BUSY STREET

I go here once a year for cheerleading competition and everyone is so nice. The students, parents, and staff are all very accommodating and helpful. The school is old, but they make up for it in other areas.

One of the all exclusive high school for girls left in San Francisco. One of the best and the tuition is one of the most affordable private school in the bay area. Excellent school that serves the mission district community and throughout the bay area. It has a reputation of being an excellent college prep and the sports program is also excellent. The administration of this school is wonderful

I attended the open house for ICA a few weeks ago. They have a nice gymnasium that houses all of the schools sporting events. And the gym is the only part of teh school that interested me. Their facilities do not resemble a fine catholic high school. Everything inside is so old and dingy. The labs were terrible and their learning center seemed to be more closed than opened. They do offer some Advanced Placement classes, but their list of required classes fall short to the college recommended classes. I think that if you are going to pay more then ten thousand a year on a high school education, you should find better than ICA.

I attended Immaculate Conception Academy several years ago. Its a private catholic high school for girls only. Uniforms were required attire. I really enjoyed my high school years there. They had high academic standards and the class sizes were small. I received plenty of hands-on assistance from the teachers who loved to teach and cared about their students.
