My parents stayed here when they visited over holidays. It is a really cool hotel in a great area tio stay. I thoink it is a fun area to go out from with good restaurants and shopping plus the rooms were big and nice. Not a fancy place but great and good prices.

Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms right in the heart of Old Town. The property has fountains and nice views of the city from the top level. Situated right in Old Town, the hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel is also walking distance to the trolley which you can take into town or even to Tijuana. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is really nice for a Best Western Hotel. I have stayed there with friends. They have couches that fold out into beds in the living rooms. It is clean and friendly and by one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants, Casa de Pico. It is 15 minutes from the beach and the main part of San Diego. It is more of a relaxing atmosphere with old town being right there.
PROS: Being able to share a room with others in a suite is nice
CONS: It is still 15 minutes from the main part of San Diego which sometimes can be a hastle during rush hour.
