I am very impressed with the courteous and professional manner exhibited by Nino. I have dealt with many service technicians, some good and some not so good and/or professional. I was impressed that Nino wiped his shoes on the doormat before he entered the house this morning to fix my cooktop. Nino conducted himself in a very considerate, polite, and professional manner. J&H is lucky to have an employee like Nino.

These guys are GREAT!!! I actually called them after the first repair company completely flaked on me. These guys came right out, knew what they were doing, got the needed parts ASAP, called me right back to reschedule the repair once they had the parts and were on-time, neat and very good with my kids (who watched every move they made and asked questions, too!). I found their prices to be competitive with other companies but their customer service and knowledge is superb! They also knew that my fridge door was part of a recall by Kitchen Aid and managed to get me a NEW door for FREE from the manufacture!! The other company had no knowledge of this and was planning on fixing the defective parts.
I will definitely call J&H if I need future repairs...they were great!!!

My Whirlpool range was taking 4 hours to bake a chicken! (We're not into the raw food craze.) The oven would cycle on and off, and finally OFF. The J&H guy diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back again (twice) to replace the part...

But the following week, the lasagna came out cold. After 2 more service calls, J&H replaced a second control board at no extra cost. And finally there is kitchen serenity. Our excuse for being dedicated micro-nukers is gone... It's been great using the real oven.

The total Labor cost was $109 for several trips (diagnosis and part replacement). The repair guys were prompt and courteous. The problem was not obvious, and J&H kept at it.

I would like to commend Billy for the excellent service and care he took to fix our Whirlpool washing machine. I found him to be extremely competent and reliable. He asked good questions, listened, evaluated and quickly initiated a fix. Billy actually found where A&E had improperly installed a part and he fixed it. To put this in perspective, we had A&E visit our home 5 times, over a 6 week period, and the machine was in worse shape by the end of their last visit then when they started. We had a different tech come out each time and none of them seemed to know what they were doing. Each tech had difficulty knowing what the previous tech did or what part they ordered, because much of the information wasn't entered properly in their computer. On several occasions, they called Sears to ask for instruction. Once, the A&E tech actually held out a part and asked if I knew what it was for. I called Whirlpool and asked what good was the warranty. How frustrating! The Whirlpool rep I spoke with apologized and highly recommended J&H. You can imagine how grateful I am that Billy cared and had the intelligence, knowledge and professionalism to do a perfect job in quickly diagnosing the problem the first time. I will highly recommend your company to Whirlpool and anyone who needs service. Please convey my regards and thanks to Billy. You have a gem! Also, please thank Sandy who handled my call initially. I am SO grateful. I just bought a Whirlpool Duet Sport Dryer and I didn't notice that the door needed to be reversed until after the delivery men had left. So I tried to reverse the door myself, following the instructions in the Use & Care Guide. I spent hours until I figured out what I was doing wrong.

The step that says to rotate the inner ring of the outer door 180 degrees was IMPOSSIBLE for me to do by myself and it really really seemed as though it would be impossible to do period without breaking the plastic tabs. The Whirlpool customer service phone # just read me the instructions from the manual. It was apparently not covered under warranty, nor was it apparently covered in the cost of delivery. The first shop on the Whirlpool approved repair list wanted $100 for a service call.

I called J&H and they said to bring the door in and they fixed it, for free. They couldn't have been nicer. The shop is hard to find (it isn't intended for customers to visit; they normally come to you), but I am SO grateful. Whirlpool eventually sent me an email reply to my written question saying the door could NOT be reversed. What a crummy way to avoid addressing my problem!!! I don't know what I would have done if J&H hadn't been so nice; I absolutely could not see paying $100 to get this done on my brand new $1000 dryer.

Your repairman, Steve, came promptly at the beginning of the scheduled time, did his work quickly and efficiently, told me I needed a new part, told me he would order the part at once, told me I would get a call as soon as the part arrived and a timeframe would be given for his return to install the part. I got the call, the time was set, he arrived earlier than the appointed time, installed the part, had me sign the paperwork and left. This is one worst "APPLIANCE" company's ever. they also have a j &h in Arizona that's just as bad or worse ran by there son. there's not even a good review on them. the owner came out to put an ice make in and didn't plug it in and had no ice thanksgiving day called to tell him and he was rude and unprofessional

They told us we needed $300 in new parts plus labor. So, we opted to go with J&H and Scott at J&H sent out Joe who was excellent and told us we only needed this $50 part and voila, all was fixed. They were very professional and they saved us a lot of money. GREAT JOB J&H, we'll definitely call you again!!!

A&B told us we needed $300 plus in new parts and they were not easy to deal with on the phone. So, we opted to go with J&H and Scott at J&H sent out Joe Reyes who was excellent and told us we only needed this $50 part and voila, all was fixed. They were very professional and they saved us over $300 with labor etc. GREAT JOB J&H, we'll definitely call you again!!!

From scheduling with Sandy who reassured me that they would send out their senior tech Nino the next day. Nino showed up on time and knew what the problem was right away. He said he had to order a part and it would take about 3-5 days to get. I figured I would get a call back in 3-4 weeks from past expierence. But to my surprise 2 days later I received a call from Pam stating the part was in and that they could be out the next afternoon. Since then my range has been working great, thanks to the people at J & H.

I paid a ton of money for this washer and to get service like this is not exceptable. I asked Whirlpool to look into this company.

This place S*cks ! Not sure why Western Appliance in San Jose uses this company . They are notorious for NOT returning phone calls and keeping appointments . I had a Saturday appointment and NO One answers the phone at all . Poor Customer Service ! I will no longer Buy Appliances at Western Appliance because when you a problem or issue you are stuck having to use this pathetic company . Avoid this Company and buy your appliances Elsewhere.
