First of all, I have been driving BMW's ever since I purchased my first one in 1990. Since then I have been sold for life, and I am always looking for the right place to take my babies. I Used to bring my 850 in to Andy, and he always would give me a fair price but kept the 850 running almost perfectly!
I eventually sold it, and updated to a 540i and had the transmission installed along with a lot of major repairs. Andy and Eva had me in and out in 2 days with the transmission repair which still sticks with me, it was remarkable quick! Besides that I just feel comfortable that these are honest people that I don't have to constantly double check and make sure I'm not getting ripped off!
My daughter brings in her BMW and is always treated right as well. I will mention them to any of my friends that care about keeping their car up and running. (Also I get a little bonus for bringing in more business) T
hey smog my car, oil change, and keep up on the belts and any adjustments I need. Just make sure you arrive early (8am) and drop off your car if you want things done quickly. (less traffic + more attention to your car = faster parts!) If its a short repair, swing by and check out Antique Row Cafe, two blocks West, and a great 50s diner for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

I bring my Golf to Adams Import. I have never had trouble getting the car back within a day, except the last time I brought it in for a tune up. Andy warned me that they were very busy, and that the car will not be ready by the end of the

I heard about this shop awhile ago from a friend that they were good with Volvo's, but I didn't take it in because I live in North County. I had an intermittent problem in my S80's instrumental panel, after taking it to a few shops that replaced the instrument panel. I made the drive to Adams Import.
They told me it may take a few days, but they got the car back to me the next day and only charged me for diagnostic. I am sold on Adams Import and will be making the drive for all my Volvo needs.

First couple of times, they wer ok.
Then two different occasions in a row, they called me at the end of the day and said, "We realized we had wrong parts, so it won't be ready until tomorrow" I was planning to use the car the next day(because they had told me it would be ready by the end of that day), so ended up renting a car and wasted money.
I don't know why they can't let me know until the last minute (even thouh I took my car in first thing in the morning) and why they had brought in wrong parts twice in a row in the first place. (and the car was the foreign they said they are specialist with) Is it a lame excuse they always use ? I don't know.
They would not work overtime even though it was their fault and they would not even apologize.
I would just take it to the dealer next time.
