I have stayed at Comfort Inns before, but the level of care and service at this one beat out hotels at twice the price. The breakfast was terrific, with make-your-own-waffles, and there is free internet. Origami towels in the bathrooms! I own an historic inn, and I can't even get MY staff to make origami towels. This is not the Ritz, but for the price, it's the best place I've stayed.

We started staying at the Comfort Inn in Santa Cruz when my son started college there. It was easy to get to and the price was right. Over the years, we continued to stay there since we were familiar with the hotel and the owners. The owners have always tried their best to keep us satisfied and they have really done a wonderful job updating the hotel over the last few years.

The room was spacious and a good size bathroom area. Breakfast is included with the room. The selection includes, cereal, oatmeal, pastries, toast, bagels, make your own waffles, juices, tea, and coffee. Eating area provides numerous tables and is very clean.

Hotel staff extremely courteous and accommodating. We liked the proximity to the Boardwalk and downtown. We walked to both frequently.

We were visiting our daughter at UCSC and looking for a reasonable, yet nice, hotel. I thought I would be taking a chance with the Comfort Inn due to its outside appearance and location. The room we had was recently renovated, clean and very comfortable. A very pleasant experience.

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The other people staying were families vacationing. Easy to find and return to. Good breakfast choices. Nice town to visit.

The property is awesome. The rooms and perfect and comfortable. The staff, in particular, RT was really helpful and made my stay exceptional. The breakfast was awesome too. I would definately recommend the hotel to my friends.

My husband competed in an iron man triathlon so we needed to find a room just for the night before. It was just fine for the two of us and our kids. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. For the price, it was great.

This hotel had the lowest price of all that were available when I was in Santa Cruz. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a good sized room with great counter space... very clean, very comfortable. A microwave AND a refridgerator in the room. Staff was pleasant and had great advice on night life. Would DEFINTELY recommend over one that I stayed at across the street one year prior.

Motel was clean and quiet, no reason to complain.\nAfter seeing the room (clean, good room, 69$) we wanted to check other motels for maybe better prizes, so the manager offered a 10% discount, which we accepted. We left out the small continental breakfast. Parking was free.\nLess than 5 minutes to walk to boardwalk.\nGood stay, but compare prizes, several motels in the same street.\nTry to get discount, even without AAA.

Stayed here for one night. Contrary to what others have said here, we found this place to be better than many of the other motels in Santa Cruz. Yes, there was a lot of construction stuff lying around but they seem to be going through a renovation. The room was nicely decorated, clean and quite. This place was sold out and during the night it was really quite, no next door or outside noise. In the morning the breakfast was again much better than what other places give you. The only problem I had was that our room was towards the end and we did not get a good wifi signal in the room so I had to go to the reception in the morning with my laptop to check my emails. I would love to go back.

We took a last-minute trip to the beach and booked a 2 Qn room. We were very surprised and pleased with the room -- it was VERY large and also included a queen sized hide-away. The bathroom was huge and actually had a bathtub/shower and a second shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.
