This is the best pizza in Long Beach--no doubt. I think it's the combination of a great sauce, a few sesame seeds on the edge of the crust and then cooking it perfectly until the cheese is browned perfectly on top. The calzones are also great. The sandwiches are just OK and so are the salads unless you order the ranch dressing which takes the salads to a new level. I know people who go to the Pizza Place only for the ranch. The outdoor patio is beautiful and they now have a new parking lot next door.

I used to live a block away and would frequent this restaurant often. I love, love the ranch dressing. I've never had it like this anywhere else. Just thinking of it makes me want to go and order a dinner salad which is loaded with mushrooms, cheese, olives....all my fav's. Pastas are also really good, never ordered one i didnt enjoy. The pizzas are pretty good. I personally don't care much for the crust but the toppings are great. I would definately recommend this place for a great tasting dinner in a nice outdoor patio.
Pros: best ranch dressing in town, pastas are great
Cons: street parking can be difficult. lot always full when i go.

We set out kids in tow looking for a good glass of wine and pizza. Not only was the food delicious but the service, thanks to Pablo and Teo, made it a definite "we will be back spot" Great childrens menu and a very helpful staff made dining with little ones hassle free. The outdoor Garden area was so charming and so relaxing! Can't wait to share with the rest of the family...hmm maybe plan my next party there!!! Great job guys!
Pros: Excellent service and Finally a great Greek salad!
Cons: Calzones slightly soggy but delicious non the less
