My sons new car a 2008 Suzuki SX4 Sport Sedan was involved in what at first glance appeared to be a minor fender bender on an I-15 on ramp. A young gal in a Honda decided to play fast and furious while applying makeup and her car stuffed his in the rear end pushing him into the car ahead of him causing an accordian effect (body damage front and rear). \r
He gathered an estimate from a body shop reccomended by the insurance company. They put the damage at $2700. I was out of town and asked him to wait until I returned as I co-signed for the loan and had some less than positive experiences in the past when the insurance company dictated the shop to be used for repairs.\r
Being new to the area I had no one to turn to for a referral. An inquiry from the local dealer turned up two suggestions (one the shop they used exclusively). When I interviewed these shops I walked away unimpressed as they both had messy cluttered work spaces and guys standing around not working. The first would not guarantee OEM (original equiptment manufacturer) parts would be used. The second could not give me a sastifactory window for completion. (I needed the car back no later than two weeks from drop off)\r
An internet search turned up United Auto Body on Miramar Road and what really appealed to me were ALL the positive reviews and a couple of not so enthusiastic ones. What was interesting was that the ones with unhappy customers were not dismissed but rather addressed and their complaints handled sincerely with an eye towards resolution.\r
After speaking with Grace an appointment was set and we dropped the car off. We were amazed at the all the photos that covered the walls showing so many cars and so many excellent repairs. Not only that but Mark (the owner) introduced himself and told me I could contact him with any questions or concerns at any time. \r
After disassembling the vehicle their crew found additional repairs would be required (I was made aware of this posibility when we first spoke) but I did not have to concern myself with it as United took care of all the interaction with the insurance company including working with their adjuster(s) to adress an additional $2200 worth of repairs not included in the original (different body shop) estimate.\r
In conclusion Suzi (that's the cars name) looks as good as new! I will always recommend United Auto Body and only them to anyone that needs auto body repair services. Thank you folks for the AWESOME service!! \r
David and Zach - Poway\r
I went in for brake pad replacement and they found that I needed to replace the rotors. I believe the previous place I got my brakes done might have screwed them up.
Had to come in for 2 separate visits due to ordering of the rotors. 2nd time didn't charge me tax or labor which was awesome. Yeah rotors range about 30-60$ each on the internet. But nice people.
Had a great experience here. They encouraged and then helped me fight the ""other guys"" insurance company and get fully reimbursed for my damages. Also, fought (and won) to use new, not refurbished, parts. This fight did cause serious delays (only a small portion of which was compensated by insurance company) in getting the car back, but I was able to deal with that, so not a problem for me. The entire staff was friendly and always promptly returned calls. They were transparent, providing documentation and paperwork for everything. This is the only place I will go in the future and will recommend it to everyone.
Thanks everybody at United Auto Body for great service. My truck was beat to hell after a wreck and fighting the insurance companies had me stressed out of my mind. The best decision I ever made was taking my truck to UAB, they fixed it up better than new and took over dealing with the insurance companies giving me excellent advice along the way to make sure things went the way I wanted with my truck. \r
If you've been in a wreck and need help dealing with the insurance companies and want your life back to normal I highly recommend this shop. Thanks again Mark, Grace, and Jason!
First off, Thanks again Mark, Grace and everyone else at United Auto Body. I learned a great deal about auto insurance companies and how they work. Simply put... Be aware of any shop the insurance company tries to send you to! 99% of the time those shops have back door contracts with the insurance company's. They'll cut every corner possible to get you in and out. The cheaper those shops can do it the more work the insurance co. feeds them. In most cases you have the ""right to choose"" a shop to repair your vehicle. United Auto Body totally impressed me with the care, detail and quality they provide. Again, Thanks Mark..... PS Invadertim3 Read all of the other reviews... you and your brother have some issues!! Sad that anyone has to ever deal with someone such as yourself.
I signed up for yelp just to write this review. I've never felt the need to write a review until now.
I did quite a bit of research online looking for a good, honest auto repair shop in San Diego. United Auto Body came up with the best reviews and BBB rating. My car was brought here for a repair estimate, which ended up adding up to more than the cost of the car.
So I went to the shop last Thursday. Since there were a few upgraded modifications on my car, I wanted to part them out to sell. But Mark, the owner, told me that he would charge me a few hundred dollars to remove them. I decided that I only wanted to take a few parts that were easy to remove, so I ended up taking off some things myself. His shop was closing at the time, so I asked him if he could take off the rear sway bar and wheel locks. When I met him, he seemed like a friendly, trustworthy guy. I told him specifically that he needed to take them off by Monday and he told me that he would take it off tomorrow (Friday) morning. He leaves the wheel lock key I give him on his desk as if he was going to do it first thing in the morning like he said. I asked if there was going to be a charge and I was expecting some (and would have paid it), but he insisted to do it for free. I thought to myself, ""Cool. This place is legit."" I was leaving for vacation the next morning for winter break and told him that my brother was going to pick up the parts. Mark told me again that it would be done in the morning and he would let my brother know. Monday comes and I give him a call. Nothing was done. He said he would get to work on it immediately since I told him the car was going to be towed soon. HE NEVER CALLS BACK. Next thing I know, my brother arrives at the shop and Mark only has a set of lug nuts. Great.
The thing I hate most in this world is liars and Mark is an exceptional liar. And he lost me $300+ in parts because he was too damn lazy to do what he said he would do. I had a bad experience with this shop and thought I'd let others who were in the same situation I was in to find another shop because this shop doesn't keep their word. If you do decide to go to this shop, I would advise you to not trust what they say too easily. Don't make the same mistake I did and take Mark's word for it.
I took my BMW to 3 other shops before I found United Auto Body... no one wanted to fix my car because it has all after market parts and a custom paint job. Someone hit the mirror off and scratched the back side of my car. When I took it to Mark he said he would fix it, but the paint wouldn't be perfect. He was wrong.. it looks fantastic!!! I am so happy with the service I received from Mark and Grace I don't know what I would have done without them. They took care of everything for me so I didn't have to lift a finger. I was such a mess when I went in and they were very genuine in everything they said. They are very good people and my car looks wayyyyy better than it did even before it was hit. I won't go anywhere else ever again!
Pros: Excellent Customer Service
This was my second time coming to United Auto Body. Its truly amazing how they not only fix the dents and damage to my car-but they make it look even better than it did before the damage was done! They truly make you feel that you're the number one customer and do all that they can to fix your car and more. I will continue to go to United Auto Body for as long as I live in San Diego and may need any form of auto body repairs. I highly suggest United Auto Body!!
Pros: Helpful, Friendly, GREAT customer service and job on my car!
They did a beautiful job on my car. Very professional staff. Delivered as promised.
Pros: On-time, smooth operation
United Auto Body is by far the best body shop out there with superior quality and customer service. My car looks better than when it was brand new. Mark is a great honest individual who is humble in his work, but I have to say its the best work I've seen and I have a lot of experience with BodyShops. I recommend United Auto Body to anyone out there, they really take care of their customers.
Pros: Honest, Great Customer Service, Quick Service, Great Work
Mark really helped me out when a car wash damaged my vehicle. He was very honest, supportive of my situation and provided excellent service. The workmanship is great too!
Pros: Honest people, quality work
I've taken my car to United Auto Body & Paint more than once and each time I bring my car home, the car looks like brand new. This is a shop that I can highly recommend to anyone, and Mark J. the owner is a business owner who runs his business right and that is why he is able to stay in business for a long time.
Pros: Delivers as promised
Cons: Can't think of any
I brought my car ('01 Chevy Cavalier) in back in July with a hatch/trunk that wouldn't close because of a problem with the latch. Thanks to GM's legendary ""customer last"" policy, the part I needed only came as part of a more elaborate part that cost $250.00, which I just didn't have.\r
Rather than tell me there was nothing they could do, Jason gave me the part no., and I did some online research to find it in the aftermarket. Three months later I finally got it, but when I brought it in, even though it was the exact same part no., it was for a more recent model and wouldn't work with my hatch.\r
Once again I expected be let down. But thanks to Gabby, a mechanic who apparently thinks outside the box, Jason told me they could probably use some rivets and industrial-strength glue and fix the part that was already there but had broken, and it would only cost me the same $50.00 that it would've cost to install the new part. Twenty minutes later I was on my way.\r
So twice they could've told me it was a lost cause unless I wanted to pay $250.00 for a new part. And instead they helped me out both times. In the end, I got terrific customer service and terrific mechanical service, and instead of gouging me, they charged me a total of $50.00.\r
Mark, the owner, whom I also met, clearly places a premium on friendly, and very competent, service. And Jason and Gabby completely delivered. To me the only downside is that they're only auto body and not overall repair. I'd go to them anytime I had a problem, and I'd send everyone I know.
Pros: They use their heads as well as their tools
Cons: Hidden from busy street (but well worth looking for)
I damaged my car door at my underground parking lot at work. I was referred to this traveling shop where they come to you and do the work for dirt cheap. This is the biggest mistake one can make. They ended up making the repair worse. United body had to redo the work. They were very flexible, very reasonably priced and did amazing work. My car looks brand new. Now that's great service. You must take your car there... you feel like you are working with family and they are the best in town!!
Pros: Quality work, fair price and caring staff
I picked Mark and United Auto Body because my insurance company directed me to him for rear collision damage to my bumper. At first, I felt skeptical, given the nature of insurance companies, I thought they would send me to a cut corners-type of company. However, I set an appointment with Mark on Saturday morning, and he was there right on time.\r
From the minute I entered his store, Mark made me feel very comfortable. He was very personable, dressed very professionally, and never talked over my head regarding the insurance process. After we signed the paperwork and got the ball rolling, my wife brought the car in on Tuesday. He helped my wife transfer over our two child carseats (and 2 kids!) to the rental car place and really made the whole process very easy for her. \r
Three days later (earlier than the original estimated time for repair), my wife picked up the car and received a very pleasant surprise. First, he met my wife with our car at the rental store and helped to transfer the car seats. Then we did not expect this, but he buffed out some scraches from my FRONT bumper. I never mentioned the scratch on the front bumper, although the damage was obvious. When he returned my car, not only was the rear bumper fixed, the front bumper looked new too. I chuckled to myself, thinking how I've been to three different autobody shops in the past for previous repairs and this had never happened. In the end, I would definitely recommend him and United Body Shop. I thought the customer service was excellent, and their work was great. I would definitely use them again. \r
Thanks for everything Mark.
Pros: Excellent customer service;
I was in a fender-bender a few weeks ago and started looking for body shops by doing a Google search since I'm not originally from San Diego and had no references to go off of. I'm extremely glad that I read all the reviews on this site. I can't imagine that I could have had a better experience getting my car repaired than I had with United Auto Body.
Out of the three estimates I was given, United Auto was the most reasonable for a few dents and scratches on my bumper. Not only was the price great, but they were the only ones that did a thorough inspection when giving me an estimate. The others looked at my car for less than a minute, from 10 feet away, and asked for $200-$300 more than United. Even if United had quoted me the same price, I would have still elected to work with them because I was confident in their knowledge and handling of my repairs.
When my insurance company got involved, United handled everything. All I needed to do was show up and drop off my car. Couldn't have been easier. They also went out of their way to offer me advice on working with the rental car company and jumped in to make sure that my reservation was handled correctly.
When I got my car back, I really couldn't have been happier. I've had it for almost 2 years now, and when I got it back from United I felt like I was driving it off the lot for the first time again. The repairs were amazing! On top of everything, my car was returned to me with a few scratches I had on my doors repaired, free of charge, and shiny from a complimentary car wash.
I now know that all the reviews on this site for United are correct. You really can't ask for a better experience than you will receive at United Auto Body.
Pros: Excellent customer service
Cons: Hard to see location from the street.
Honest quote, sound advice, fast service.\r
I got my car keyed last night and got it fixed by them.
Pros: Best auto body repaire experience I ever had
I called United Auto Body after reading the reviews here. After speaking with Mark, I knew immediately that I was calling the right guy to repair damages to my car. I was initially concerned with my insurance company trying to cut costs on the repairs. He assured me that he was in the business to provide ME with excellent service and not my insurance company. \r
He fulfilled his word. When the insurance company attempted to cut costs on my repairs (using low quality products and used parts on my brand new car), Mark went to battle for me and would not allow them to take advantage of my circumstances. In addition, United Auto body did an outstanding job on my car and had the repairs done on the date that was promised!!! \r
You will not go wrong with United Auto Body. I recommend them to anyone in need of auto body work. \r
I would hands-down recommend United Auto Body every time, based on the terrific service I have consistently received over the past several years.
This is one-call customer service at its finest. Simply call Mark or one of the ladies and tell them you need a repair. They walk you step-by-step through the process and save you money wherever possible.
My latest repair went through an insurance company, and United Auto Body did everything from arranging for my wrecked car to be towed, to explaining the rental car process and communicating directly with the insurance adjusters. When it was time to pick the vehicle up I was greeted, shown the repairs....they even put on my new license plate and registration tags!
I never experience service this great in any industry. The best part is that this easy, friendly experience has been consistent whenever my family members or I have needed repairs. EVERY TIME they exceed my expectations. You will have a similar experience, so these are definitely the people to call.
Pros: Best customer service of any industry.
My auto insurance recommended Caliber Collision for my repairs. I asked for the recommendation from them so I would know which facilities to avoid as there is a conflict of interest between the insurance company and the auto body repair shops which they may recommend.\r
I picked United Auto Body & Paint because of their professional website and their history of highly rated reviews.\r
The owner of United Auto Body & Paint, Mark Jannesari is extremely honest and personable. He is great about offering you all the different options to go about a repair which can end up saving you a lot of money. He defnately goes out of the way to make sure you're 100% satisfied with the work he does for you.\r
When I brought my SUV for a front fender repair, he touched up the scratches and chips on my rear bumper at no extra charge. The bumper looks great and you can hardly see where the touch ups were done. ""Bumper Medic"" had previously quoted me $600 to repaint the entire bumper without even offering me the option of doing a simple touch up which Mark did for me at no extra charge!\r
This was definately the best experience I've ever had with an auto repair shop and I'm glad to have found him. I would highly recommend him without hesitation to anyone including friends and family.
Pros: Excellent customer service; great quality work; fast repair.
Just wanted to let you know that we are very happy with the way my car looks after your repair service. It actually looks better than before because of the great paint job you guys did. Between Farmer's Insurance and your quick turn around, the whole ordeal became a minimal stressful event. I also appreciated the inside tips you gave me on how car rental agencies work.\r
Also, please know that your donation to my daughter's girl scout project was very kind and generous! Thanks again. We can always use an excellent auto body service! I will make sure to recommend you to my friends.\r
Pros: Professional, nice, informative
Cons: Off major heavily trafficed road and narrow driveway.
After reading many excellent reviews for United Auto Body, I decided to stop in last Monday for an estimate on several dents and scratches on my car. As soon as I walked in Mark and Suzette treated me like I was their number 1 customer. Mark looked over the damage and recommended the best work at the best possible price. He explained the kind of work they would do and what it would look like when done. I could tell immediately Mark takes his work very seriously and really wants the best for his customers. My car was ready in three days as promised and all I can say is...His prices are really good for the superb work they do!! My car looks really good. I usually don't write reviews for businesses, but this time I had to make an exception. Thank you again to Mark and his crew for the outstanding work and customer service. I will be recommending United Auto Body to everyone at work and my family.
Pros: Customer Service, Workmanship, Price, Everything!
SoI after a minor incident in a parking lot, my front bumper was scratched and scuff, and so I googled auto collision places in my area. I stumbled upon a few and decided to go to United Auto Body and Paint because it was pretty close and had good reviews. I had scheduled an appointment but was about 20 minutes late because I had trouble finding the place, but it wasn't a big deal or anything. Mark came and looked at my car and he told me that all I needed was to get it polished and he could have it done right then. And that's what he did, it took him probably less than twenty minutes. I paid a lot less than I was expecting too and it was done quicker than I'd imagine. If I got into another accident *knocks on wood* I would come here again or recommend this place to anyone else I know!
Pros: Friendly staff and timely
Cons: Small parking lot and hard to find.
My car was involved in an accident and I was referred to Mark Jannesari at United auto body. I was pleasantly surprised by their customer service and professional quality of work. They delivered the car on time, and the quality of work was excellent. Moreover, when I needed advice on buying a new car, he was so helpful, and gave a lot of useful advice. I highly recommend this shop for quality and customer service. I have had bad experiences with auto body shops, so this was truly like a breath of fresh air!!
Pros: Very professional and friendly
I took my car to United autobody because of the good reviews I read here. That was a big mistake. They didn't work well with my insurance company and delays were caused. Instead of taking responsibility for the delays Mark blamed my insurance company. To make matters worse the insurance company disagreed with the rates by something like $2-3 hour and Mark would not compromise. He told me to file a claim against my insurance company and said he would do the paperwork. He apparantly does this all the time. What a HUGE waste of my time! My car looks good but other body shops could have done the same work with less hassel!
Pros: car looks good, Susie at front desk was nice and helpful, good waitng area
Cons: didn't work well with insurance company, pinched every penny possible
So after going to two Body shops because my convertible top had been ripped apart by someone trying to steal my radio, the first body shop to tell me that I needed an upholstery and not a body shop was United. The other two body shops (Balboa and World Auto Body) were happy to charge me an extra $400 just to drive it over to an upholstery. It didn't matter to me much because either way I was going to pay the $500 deductible what mattered to me was being without a car for a whole week due to these two body shops wanting to make an extra buck to drive it a mile over to an upholstery. If you live in San Diego, you know that not having a car for a week can really be disastrous. United told me in the first 5 minutes that I should go to an Upholstery and recommended JIm's Upholstery who competed the job in the SAME day I brought it in.
I keep all my cars in immaculate condition, you might say I'm a little inane (My wife would anyway). In parking lots I park as far away as I can, so some moron doesn't open their door or run a shopping cart into me. Happened to my wifes brand new $30,000 car, the idiot took off leaving a large dent (Am I silly now honey?). So why am I telling you this? Well it just so happens that my neighbor backed into my car, how you don't see a parked shiny red car in broad daylight I'll never know. Keeping in mind that I am somewhat over protective of my cars (Hey they cost a lot), I was bummed as my car had no dents or scratches and it was fairly new. I had been ripped off in the past by 2 of the SHADY auto body shops in Ramona (Jerry's and Ramona Auto Body - wouldn't back their shoddy workmanship) and wondered, how am I going to find an honest shop. So I got on the internet and came across United Auto Body, read their reviews and although they were 30 miles away, decided to check them out. Mark, the owner took time out of his busy day to talk with me over the phone for quite some time, assuring me he would use only new parts to repair my car, even taking on my neighbors insurance as they wanted him to use used parts. Mark assured me he could make my car look good as new. He informed me he would deal with all the insurance and rental car issues and if they called me, to have them call him. When I picked up my car, I had quite a bit of trepidation going on, but my car looked beautiful. Remember I told you I was inane? believe me when I say I looked my car over with a fine toothed comb, it was perfect. As I was leaving, Mark told me ""I warranty my work for as long as you own your car"". Now that's something you rarely find anymore. So if you want peace of mind when your car needs repairs and paint, you need to go to United Auto Body & Paint. Thank you Mark, Suzette and Staff for OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! I'll recommend you to family, friends and strangers.
Pros: My entire experience
So I was in this unfortunate accident this past July where some nut made a left turn right into my car! Luckily after perusing the net I found United Auto Body. Suzette, Mark and the whole team were very professional and helped me through a terrible experience. They handled all the paperwork and gave me back my car even better looking than what it had been! Aside from fixing where my car looked like it got punched in the face... Mark had my car detailed and buffed out extra scratches that were on another part of my car. They made the car look brand new again. Thanks guys for all your hard work. If you want to go somewhere where the service is top notch, fair and the job is done beautifully ... GO HERE! You won't be disappointed!!
I was trying to look up the number to United Auto Body and saw the reviews - I've been meaning to write one since March. I will now be a return customer, as my car was just sideswiped while sitting at a red light. Back in March, United was the fourth place I had gone to get an estimate. When I met Mark, he immediately struck me as a professional business guy who would would be satisfied with an honest day's work, so I chose him. His team did an awesome job painting and refinishing the entire driver's side of my car. When I picked up my car at closing time one night, and didn't get to inspect it closely. As soon as I drove it home, I noticed by the light in my garage that there may have been an almost invisible dent on the top of my trunk, as if something might have been dropped on it. There wasn't a scratch but a difficult to distinguish dent, which I was pretty sure was not there when I had dropped off the car at United. I called Mark immediately, which I think was his dinner time, and he asked me to bring in the car the first thing next morning. Technically, I left the body shop without having inspected my car and he had no further obligation to me, but I was almost certain that the dent wasn't there before. Mark patiently pulled up the photos he had taken from when I first took the car in. The faint shadow on top of my trunk from the pictures was questionable - he believed that the shadow was there in the picture, but another person could look at the picture and say it wasn't there - it was a tough call and really not 100percent certain either way. Regardless, Mark made the call to have it fixed and that he would cover the cost. He knew that I strongly felt it wasn't there before. He took it upon himself to go above and beyond what another shop would have done. I have proof that he's an honest guy who takes pride in the workmanship and integrity of his shop. I will definitely be a return customer.
I have been meaning to post a review since March, and I just read the insincere review posted by bun1448. I have to say I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with bun1448?s assertions. I have taken three of my vehicles to United Auto Body over the past 10 years for various repairs. On one occasion I brought back my Honda Accord for warranty work on the bumper, and Mark IMMEDIATELY honored the warranty. The last job that Mark did for me was in February/March when my brand new car was damaged by a dog dragging a patio table across the passenger side at a Jamba Juice. The repair is absolutely undetectable. Mark and his staff gave me a thorough explanation of the repair process. They were relentless in getting the job done properly and worked well with my insurance company. Bun1448?s comment that USAA does not recommend United Auto Body is very misleading because insurance companies are simply responsible for paying for the repair, while the auto body shop is responsible for the actual work done on the vehicle. In fact, I would be hesitant to go to any auto body shop that my insurance company recommends because a conflict of interest may arise. Is the auto body shop working for me or my insurance company, and am I getting a substandard repair as a result of following that recommendation? I know that when I go to United Auto Body, they work for me and not my insurance company. Mark and his staff are trustworthy, reliable and do great work!
Pros: Honest business people!
United Auto Body is not associated or recommended by many insurance companies including USAA, which is a military insurance company. My vehicle's paint job was inferieor by not buffed out correctlyand their were panel alignments that were not acceptatble. When I brought in my vehicle they would not stand by their warranty and made false accusations. They took much longer to fix then originally told. I would not recommend this body shop to anyone. They were nice when you originally talk to them, but when you call them on their warranty they do not hold to it.
Cons: Military insurance company does not recommend them (USAA)
Thank you Mark Jannesari and the entire Auto Body staff. You fixed my mini-van quickly and at a great price. The whole experience was""easy"" and very honest. It is very refreshing to know that there are still businesses out there that you can trust to do what they say and say what they mean. I will reccomend you to everyone that I know. Awesome!
Pros: Easy location to get to, nice staff, attentive service.
I was referred to United through Buick, and it was the best reference I could have received. Mark and his staff treated us with respect and courtesy. They explained the process, made sure we understood what we were getting, and delivered on their word. HOW REFRESHING. Thank you United. Keep it up.
Pros: Freindly, knowledgable staff
I brought my car to United Auto Body to clean up a few dents scratches that my Infiniti G35 had accumulated as a result of parking it on the street for 4 years straight. Knowing that I was paying for my repairs out of pocket, Mark gave me an honest assessment of what I should fix and what I should leave. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly honest. He did an impeccable job on my car. He even cleaned up some curb rash on my rims for me at a very cheap price. The car looks brand new. I was deciding betweeen Caliber Collision and United Auto Body and I am very glad I went to Mark.
Pros: Customer Service, Honesty, Quality of Work
Cons: Work took a day longer than expected
Highly rated, Mark is a caring professional. always does oa good job as if car was his own.\r
My Lexus was perfect!\r
Pros: highest quality, original finish
I take meticulous care of my car and I had the unfortunate experience of being bumped by another driver. If I had to trust someone to take care of my car to do the 'right' job, I would take it to United Auto. Mark and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Working with Mark, I can see that he makes sure that the job is done correctly with the utmost quality. When going there, United Auto does whatever they can to give you a good experience and they're honest and upfront about everything they do. I would definitely recommend this shop if you need body work done.
Pros: Quality work, Excellent service
Cons: May be tricky to find
United Auto Body has the friendliest, most knowlegable staff in the business. All my work was completed on time, and right on the already low-estimate. They were very flexible with my schedule, and went the extra mile to serve me. I highly reccommend!
Pros: Best service around.
I just can't say enough about United Auto Body & Paint! As others have said in their reviews, it was like a body shop from ""years ago"".... not only do they remember your name, your car and exactly what you need done from just your quote, the final price is affordable, completely taken cake of with your insurance company in a timely matter and the expedient, end result is absolutely incredible. Plus, Mark and the staff bend over backwards to make sure your repair experience is seamless and quick. Hard to find? Just a bit but definately worth finding! (I would have driven 60 miles for the result of my repair but luckily, for me, they were just down the street.) So, how did my repair come out? Not only did they fix the body damage so that I couldn't even tell that it had been damaged, they buffed my entire car to look even better than when it came in! Can't beat that, can you???!!!!
In 1994 (on the advice of a co-worker) I had my car repaired at United Autobody and Paint. We have all heard the rumors about autobody repair shops. However, upon meeting Mark and his excellent staff all of my previous trepidation and fear about using an independent autobody shop were allayed. I have been back a few times to Mark's shop and thru the years I've urged anyone needing autobody repairs or painting to go to United Autodody. Excellent customer service. Fair and reasonable pricing. Quick turnaround on repairs. Insurance claims expertly handled. Very friendly atmosphere.
Pros: Quality, Timeliness, Customer Service
Although my Camry only needed a minor repair ( just a small ding in the bumper), Mark at United Auto Body cared about my business and satisfaction. Not only was the repair done quickly and efficiently, United Auto Body went beyond what they needed to do to ensure a good result. Not only did they repair what the contract required, they also did a little work for me that I didn't expect. So I was really delighted when I picked up my car and found it looking way better than I had expected.\r
I had researched the procedure required to fix my bumper, got estimates (from some of the ""bumper experts"" around town) and was already somewhat educated when I went to United. One of my friends had used a mobile bumber repair and was not happy with the result, so I was skeptical about the whole bumper repair process. I asked Mark a lot of questions which he was happy to answer. While I was there I asked to see other body repairs on cars that had just been repaired. (I have had body work done on other cars and can usually spot a repaired car pretty easily.) Again, Mark was happy to show off the work done by United and the work was done well. AND here's the best part--the repair to my car cost LESS than it would have cost if I had taken it to one of the big bumper repair specialists or used a mobile bumper repair. What more can you ask for? Better service at a lower price.
Pros: Good quality work, good customer service
Cons: A little hard to find on Miramar Road
I have had occasion to use Mark's services in the past, and have never been disapponited. He and his team are very professional, complete the work on time, at the price quoated. He always explains what has to be done, why it has to be done, and does it so that you walk away understanding why and what he is doing. Thier ability to match paint is just terrific. I've never had a mismatch on any color he has done( green,\r
silver, black, and white). Add to all that the fact that the car is always cleaner than when i brought it in. I'd never think about going elsewhere.\r
