This place is a freaking joke. First, you can hear every single conversation, TV program etc just sitting in
your own home. The construction sucks, maintenance takes forever to do repairs and worst of all I am handicapped and was here visiting, the ONLY handicapped space was take so I parked in one of the 6 available "Future Residents" parking only to have the management have my car towed despite the fact that my placard was in full view They called the tow company 1 minute before the leasing office was closing and all Future Residents parking were empty. They illegally towed my car and didnt give a rats ass and Im out over $300, not to mention the :Visitor Parking", the cars NEVER move. They allow pets but there is dog feces all over the complex and it has turned into the barrio and party city. Paint is peeling on the exterior and some of the covered parking looks like it will collapse at any moment. The rents are a joke, and they are not Handicap compliant at all. I dont even rent here, but help friends with babysitting and this would definitely be a place I would ever want to rent.from. Previous review the person complained of sleep deprivation, he was so correct.due to the loud and constant partying and if I hear Frozen one more time, Im gonna go postal. Corporate is even worse when I addressed the issue of illegally towing a vehicle with a handicap parking placard in full view. Management gets a fair kick back from the tow company. DO NOT RENT HERE, Tiajuana has better standards than here. If I could give ZERO for rating I would. Its not worth the headaches or money

Hi there, lived at Villa Siena (Costa Mesa location)and had the most horrible experience of my life. If you live here you most likely have made the unfortunate mistake of agreeing to getting ripped off and robbed by these dishonest scoundrels.

The managers are simply rude. Daniel, the former extremely overweight swindler who recently got fired for an unknown but seemingly fair reason, was just as awful as a manager as the current one Rich. Melinda, who seems to get in charge when Rich isn?t around, is another rude selfish annoyance who tends to smile when doing business and then frowns upon hearing complaints and might even turn amnesiac when you ask about them. She is also very slow and computer illiterate, as she is mostly unable to read and calculate the information given on her screen. There also seems to be a communication problem going on among the staff in the leasing office as they tend to be oblivious of what?s going on, for example, whether a tenant has made a payment or not.

Villa Siena is not as ?pet friendly? as it claims to be. Of course with a huge sum of deposit and a monthly fee, but watch out for the ?residents? when you let your dog or cat roam upon freely in the neighborhood. Unfortunately the people here take great pride upon kicking, spitting, running over, or murdering your precious pet. The only thing these people are pet friendly about is: cockroaches ? you can see tons of them and no one cares.

Also watch out for the retards (or ""mentally handicapped"") who apparently live on our government taxes for free. You can easily spot them walking around like zombies, some with a dog and some with a crippled leg, harassing every resident nearby with questions like who they are or what they are doing.Getting a good night's sleep after a hard day of work is extremely unlikely in this community, given that there are college students wanting to spend their Friday nights doing-you-know-what everywhere, and it might not necessarily be a Friday.

All in all, Bre is seemingly good at hiring incompetent, unprofessional, ignorant and rude individuals who are totally incapable of solving problems and managing a decent living atmosphere. If you decide to live here be prepared to live in hell.

I lived in Villa Siena for a year. In that time my car was vandalized twice. Other cars were vandalized as well. Security is a joke, except when it comes to getting cars towed. If you forget to leave your tag on the mirror or it falls off, it will cost you. I left Villa Siena two years ago and they (BRE properties) are now calling me stating that they made an error and I owe them $750.00. They claim they did not discover the mistake until now. They also claim that I left the apartment dirty and did not pay my electrical bill. These allegations are untrue and unfortunately this is going to cost me some money in legal expenses. I had thought that when I moved out, that my bad experience with this apartment complex was over. This does not appear to be the case.
The office area is very nice and well-kept. It will easily lure you into thinking that this is a great place to live. Don't be fooled! Take a tour around the area first. Check the crime blotter for police reports in the complex, look at the area at night, ask how hot the apartments get in summer (no AC), and listen to the traffic noise from busy Fairview road. Had I checked any of these items, I would have decided to live elsewhere.

Yes they are one of the only places that have 3 bedroom apartments, but the place is scary. Parking sucks, neighbors sucks, and the police are always there. You will find like 12 people living in 2 bedroom apartments all over. Cars are constantly broken into and the gate never works. Don't waste your time or money.

There are gangs here who roam all day and night looking for someone/something to steal from. Cars broken into almost every night. Graffiti daily, maintenance cleans it up before tenants can see it. Registered sex offender in X104, you can check on Costa mesa registered sex offender and also check with them on the crime there. Police are there alot!! Used to be daily. Drug dealers on premises are deals are made in back parking lot after dark. Security gates always broken and criminals jump the wall/fence to vandalize and check unlocked apartment doors during the day while you're at work and check to burglarize your car at night. Parties all day and night. Kids running around and very loud, no parent supervision. Management says they have bigger problems. Illegals, alot in one apartment. They will suck you in, then when you try to leave they will illegally keep your security deposit and make deductions that are not legal. If this happens to you, contact the Fair Housing Act. It's not safe to walk to your car or on the grounds at night. Like I said, if you don't believe me check with the police department. Oh, forgot about the ex-cons, but the front office says there's nothing they can do about it if they're not on the lease, just like the child molester in x104.. he is there!!!

I lived in this place for a year. What a nightmare! Security gate? Don't you believe it. They never worked. There are multipe people who jump over the gates. There are questionable people standing around the complex, especially at night. Made me a bit nervous. Were it not for the fact that I had a large dog, I would have been afraid to ever leave the place. Office machines to use in the office? Another joke. They were never in working order when I asked to use them. There were so many people living in those apartments. Not sure how many people per apartment. Noisy. I never had peace and quiet. Kids with skateboards all the time. Kids running around on the grounds unattended. What an ant problem. They could never tell me when someone could come and spary. Rodents! Most nights I went to sleep listening to gnawing sounds in the walls. I couldn't wait for my lease to end. The front office staff were OK. The incompetent they have managing the place is a joke. She could care less about you or anything going on. You can imagine what happened when it came time for my deposit to be reimbursed. I moved out several days before my lease ended. They charged me for 5 more days rent. Even when their staff had to open the place to let the carpet cleaners come in to clean the carpets and the people who picked up the refridgerator I had rented. They were able to see the place was vacant and clean. After I had the carpets professionally cleaned, they charged me $135.00 for carpet cleaning. They charged me $82.50 to clean the apartment. I cleaned that place from top to bottom and have pictures to prove it. I left the place cleaner that I found it. They charged me $180.00 to paint the place after 1 year of one person living there. Normal wear and tear doesn't equate to that kind of painting. How many people do you know who paint their homes after 1 year and every year? There is an on line ad that says their 1 bedroom apts are airconditioned. When I saw the apt they showed me, initially, I could have sworn it had ac. My apt. did'nt have it. Man, what that place hot. Their ceiling fan is a joke. You can hardly feel a breeze. I had a parking space that was on the other side of the conplex.
Like I said, beware. You don't want to live in this place. Don't consider it. Con't be fooled. I have not been able to get in contact with the incompetent manager to resolve the deposit issue. A company called BRE is suppose to own this place. Be careful dealing with any place that has anything to do with this company. Any company that would allow this type of management to go on, has to be dishonest, at best. What they are doing is, actually, illegal. Unfortunately, I will have to take legal action and spend my valuable attempting to get the deposit back that I am entitled to. Of course, I will be contacting other consumer agencies, as well.

Otherwise known as the 'ghetto Villa Siena'... I toured this place recently and found the salespeople pushy, not to mention parking was far from ideal, amenities such as laundry rooms are far and few, and there is virtually no view. For the price they ask (for any floor plan in general), I would not recommend bothering with this place.
